My sister and I decided to stop by our local IHOP, to see why it wasn't busy on a Saturday, at 5pm. Everyone was out Christmas shopping...?? Kind of a mystery... 1. The service was excellent....the ambience was super festive, the food was waaay above average...the prices were very competitive! Some meaks were below the FAST FOOD prices! , I can only come to my personal conclusion, that it is all about LOCATION! I will definitely be recommending this establishment. It is very welcoming, very clean, food is tasty ( Some of the best ONION RINGS!!), THERE are new boothes, Habla Español, GREAT coffee! Fernanda was our server, very attentive, and pleasant! Seriously, if our local people don't support this franchise, we will lose I.H.O.P...WHO doesn't love pancakes?? Anyway, we loved it and hope you will give it a chance!!

Service was decent. I think our server may have been new because my order was not what I asked for but it was still good and he seemed a little stressed. Bacon was crisp and the cheesecake pancakes would have tasted better without so much strawberry syrup. It was clean and the noise level was perfect for brunch. May try the lunch or dinner menu next time.

IHOP should be ashamed of themselves. This was a Grub Hub order and I don't believe they would have had the nerve to serve this if I had been sitting in their establishment. This avocado toast was about $15. My boyfriend ordered a pancake meal and only got one packet of syrup for two pancakes. I would NOT recommend ordering take out from this IHOP.

I placed an order for pick up at 10:33am. The order said it'd be ready by 10:49. We walked in at 10:51 and the waitress stated it'd only be a couple more minutes. I did use my rewards so I was trying to be understanding. However, as we are waiting a guy walks into the door and gets seated. She knows the guy. I waited until 11:15 and I see that the guy that got seated, RECEIVED HIS FOOD AT HIS TABLE BEFORE US. I say "excuse me" out loud and she completely ignores me. All we ordered was 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 1 slice of french toast, and a full stack. I am appalled at the customer service this restaurant provided. There was no explanation and no apologies given that it took 45 min to get our food. I do not recommend their service here.

Food and services here is great. Our server Edgar, has been great. What is horrible is the bathroom smell and how the surrounding tables have to smell it. Please make that go away or ask for a table far from it

I just made a call regarding the promotion that was advertised. I waited for about 15-20 min. for someone to answer. Finally, a lady picked-up & sounds like she doesn't know what I'm talking about. She put me on hold for 5-10 minutes then it was hanged-up. Where is customer service in this part.??? Manager should response to this immediate matter so it will not happen again. I was thinking of making reservation for a group of dozen women. You just lost a business!!

Food was cold but service by Alexandra was awesome! She made the experience better by being professional, helpful, and courteous.

I HOP is open in Vacaville and it's better than ever. The food was great and they have more staff than before. In the past they had one waitress and no busboy .That has all changed.I believe they have new owners. You actually get customer service.I have been back twice since they reopened in June 2022. I hope they keep up the good work. Please bring back Harvest Grain Pancake.

From the outside this place looks closed. The parking lot empty and when we entered we were seated immediately. We were the only customers which made me wonder why. Once seated we were greeted by our waitress Ashleigh who was very friendly and had a welcoming smile. We asked for the holiday menu and she quickly got it for us. I ordered the pumpkin pancakes and omelette. Honey ordered the strawberry crepe combo. The food was great! Looked exactly like the picture in the menu and tasted just as you expected it to taste. The pancakes were fluffy and moist. The eggs we're fresh and tasty. The hash browns were crunchy. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised but I'm giving this spot !

What a wonderful atmosphere! This is the second time I've gone in the last few weeks, and enjoyed my favorite dish - avocado toast with two poached eggs, fruit, and very tasty coffee! The best thing about being here is the friendly demeanor of the delightful waitress, Tresa! She made my day with her friendliness and the extreme care she took of everyone in restaurant! In a world where you can be anywhere- be kind. Tresa is!

I came in with my family around 9am. Was greeted by a kind young gentleman named Issak. The place was busy and the staff was all so kind. We got seated in rhe back room. Food was hot and delicious. The manager Aliah was so friendly and noticed her helping her staff seat and clean tables. This is definitely a nice place to come have breakfast. Very clean. They don't have it on the menu but the store manager mentioned I can order oatmeal and I can add some fresh fruit. You will be seeing more of us here. We felt very welcomed

It won't belong till this IHOP closes down again. However they can host large large groups they have a private banquet room that can accommodate about 30-50 people easily and it has a door that closes and blinds that can be closed for maximum group privac If you don't employee great people. People won't come back as word of mouth gets around. Why do you give guest a special menu that says 3:00 to 8pm and then you won't honor it because it isn't close to that time shouldn't you be giving out these menus as it gets closer to 3:00 pm and not between hours of 2:30pm that is like false advertising folks. Employees who talk back to customers rudely isn't kind of staff I personally wouldn't employee. Also menu with out prices is pointless to customers I heard black oak restaurant maybe having a comeback they closed due to pandemic so keep your eyes open folks or, if you want a good breakfast head on out to a near by small town called Winters CA and dine at PUTAH CREEK CAFE they have an impressive menu that won't Break the Bank you won't be disappointed and they also have great outdoor seating options. Also, don't get a cheeseburger here they don't cook it just look at the pink in my patty.

The meal came with Pad Kaprow w/ Fried Egg, Rice and Thai Iced Tea. The portion size was big for a $13 meal. Both my wife and mother-in-law had left overs to bring home. I'm a pig, so I killed the whole plate plus drank both mine and 3/4 of my mother-in-laws Thai Tea. Their food is consistently good. They had recently done some remodeling, so it seems more inviting and spacious than before. Servers were very nice and attentive. I believe they revamped their menus, and what caught my eye was they offer Alligator dishes and Wagyu Beef Pad Kaprow. They also have a Lean and Clean menu for healthier dishes as well as an Athlete's menu for cleaner eating and muscle building. They are proud to be named #20 of Yelp's top 100 places to eat in the U.S. for 2015. I am interested in trying some of their new menu items, so I will be back soon!

We had different servers who attended to us and they're both friendly and looked cheerful. We got there towards the end of Happy Hour and was presented with their Happy Hour menu. The menu is small, easy to read and has almost everything we'd want for that time of day - including the drinks. The food is a 'hit' or 'miss'. Here's my review: Drinks: Both the Arnold Palmer and the Cadillac Margarita were good. My lemonade tea wasn't overly sweet and I could definitely taste the lemonade. The pitcher of Cadillac Margarita looks innocent but may give someone a slow and powerful buzz if you're not used to the drink. (4.75 of 5) Charcuterie: This a complete appetizer board. Overall, there were some hits and misses, however, we agreed this is a well thought out appetizer board. (4 of 5) Crispy Brussels Sprouts: This is the best dish here, featuring deeply caramelized, dark golden-brown edges and a nutty, earthy flavor. Their Crispy Brussels Sprouts is also the best we've had. The seasoning is on-point, allowing the texture to show off its crackling, crunchy bite on the outside, contrasted by a tender, melt-in-your-mouth interior. (5 of 5) Seasonal Tacos: "Oh WOW!" The explosion of spicy and tangy flavours balanced by contrasting textures makes this dish "pop". (4.75 of 5) Beet Salad: The colours were lovely, but this beet salad was over-salted. The vibrant dish featuring beets as the main ingredient, balances the earthy sweetness with contrasting textures and flavours. If this wasn't too salty, it would have been more refreshing. (3.75 of 5) Coconut Lime Bouillabaisse (halibut, jasmine rice, spinach, snap pea, pickled shiitake mushroom, coconut lime broth, basil oil): Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Bouillabaisse means seafood. The only seafood we noticed were chunks of halibut, which were delicious. This dish looks and tastes more like an elevated Thai soup dish that cost too much. (3.5 of 5) After walking in, we decided to sit outdoors because of the loud music that was playing. We're glad we did. The overhang on the veranda was well positioned with plants and flowers softening the cement walkway. The weather was pleasant - with a gentle breeze blowing down the corridor. Parking is easy if you arrive early enough. One last note: Back Door Bistro in Vacaville was featured on "Check, Please! Bay Area"

Our group ordered three Classic Cadillacs and one Pink Cadillac, and every one of them was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Our server accidentally spilled an entire tray of ice water onto our table, with a little ending up in both my lap and my daughter's. Accidents happen, and they immediately returned with towels to help clean everything up. I did have to laugh a little as the soaking wet towels ended up pushing more water into my lap than they absorbed, but they were genuinely apologetic and quick to respond. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. It was a bit loud, but we were dining during peak dinner hours, so it was understandable. The location is fantastic in Old Downtown Vacaville. As a Vacaville native--my father was stationed at Travis AFB from 1957 until his retirement in 1972--my hometown will always be special to me. It's wonderful to see a thriving local business contributing to the vitality of our historic downtown. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the chile rellenos were among the least enjoyable I've had. To be fair, chile rellenos are my favorite dish, so I'm comparing them to some exceptional versions I've had elsewhere. My husband upgraded his tostada to carne asada but found it rather bland and wasn't particularly impressed. On the other hand, two others in our group are regulars at Los Reyes and ordered their usual favorite, the Enchiladas Montadas. They enjoyed them just as much as they always do, so clearly there are menu items that keep customers coming back. The Value: One of the biggest positives was the price. Our total bill, including tip, was under $200 for five dinners, a shrimp ceviche appetizer, four Cadillac margaritas, and a Coke. We felt that was very reasonable. Overall, while our experience was a bit mixed, there were definitely some highlights. The drinks, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and great downtown location made a positive impression. Unfortunately, the entrées we chose just didn't live up to our expectations. Based on the popularity of Los Reyes and the enjoyment of the regulars in our group, we may have just experienced an "off" night :)

Monday had a completely different dynamic. From the very beginning, the staff was huddled by the juice press complaining about the music playlist and debating how & who was going to address the problem of the music playlist (or lack thereof - not sure which). Eventually, one of them acknowledged us and took our order. We sat down to wait and that's when the cashier walked over to the staff that was standing by the juice press and they continued complaining about the "playlist" or creating a playlist or something *I dunno* All I know is that one person was standing at the juice press and waiting for something and the other employee just stood there talking to her about the music playlist and who is "going to tell him". It was a full 6 minutes of us just sitting there. Nobody was even attempting to start my coffee order. My husband finally got up and told them that we are on a timeline. That's when the employee standing next to the employee staring at the juice press walked over to the Expresso machine and started to make my drink. Then they made it incorrectly, giving me only 2 shots not the 3 that I paid for. Then she proceeded to dump some of the liquid from the cup out and simply added another shot. This is wrong on so many levels. The coffee is delicious, the cold pressed juices are fresh and perfectly balanced. The customer service is hit/miss. Oh, and the tip jar is back front and center. Ironic that is is the last thing I was willing to do after the crappy service. PS Not sure what all the fuss is about the music playlist, BUT it's a BIG F*ing Deal for Mondays staff. Crispy chicken fried rice - 10/10, chicken was juicy and super crispy, paired with two different sauces (1) some sort of creamy mayo aioli (2) sweet chili sauce; i personally preferred the sweet chili sauce. I wanted more variety and balance with the potatoes and carrots. I expected the carrots to be crunchy, but not with the potatoes. The potatoes were on the tougher side and just needed a bit more time to cook and soften. And also with more cooking time means the soup to be thicker, which it also needed. Overall, taste of the yellow curry was decent, just the ingredients were a bit off. As an appetizer, the pork belly surprisingly had a good portion size. Or maybe that's just the illusion of the long plate it is served on? Among the dishes we ordered, this was my least favorite. It was not crispy, more on the harder and chewy texture. It just didn't have that crisp like a typical crispy pork belly should. The other two dishes - pad see ew and pineapple fried rice - were great. Taste, texture, color - all near-perfection. The pad see ew can add a bit more on the portion size, otherwise both dishes are a must to order here. As for customer service, we had pleasant experience. We did not know they close mid-day, so we arrived about little more than 30 minutes before closing, but they were still pretty eager to take us in. Many other folks were still in the restaurant and the staff were very attentive.

Very solid, authentic Indian food. Came here from a referral from my coworker who is from India and…read moresaid they have great Indian food here for being in the US. She's not wrong! All of our dishes were super fresh, full of flavor, and had a very good portion of meat. The entrees come by themselves but they are big enough to split with a second person. You definitely need to get a side or two of rice and an order of garlic naan (or two or three iykyk). The naan was my favorite item of the meal, so soft, pillowy, and chewy. Absolutely delicious. Can't wait to return after a shopping day at the outlets.

Met up with a friend for lunch. She's been here plenty of times -- this was my first go, so I let…read moreher take the lead on ordering. Solid decision. We were seated immediately, which I always appreciate. The space is pretty big with a modern feel, and there's plenty of parking out front (no circling the lot like a hawk -- love that). Even though they gave us the lunch menu, we went à la carte. Ordered: tandoori chicken, butter chicken, coconut shrimp, butter naan, and rice -- all medium spice where applicable. The tandoori chicken was tender and well seasoned -- no dry chicken nonsense here. The butter chicken was exactly what you want it to be: rich, creamy, tomato-forward, and comforting. But the one that caught me off guard a bit was the coconut shrimp -- creamy, slightly sweet, and a little more mild than "medium" heat, probably because of the coconut milk, but still really good. And listen... the butter naan? Fresh, warm, and absolutely necessary. Both the butter chicken and coconut shrimp were made for dipping. No shame in wiping those plates clean. Service was great. Staff was kind, checked in on us without hovering, and kept our water filled without us needing to flag anyone down. Overall -- easy, enjoyable lunch. Good food, good service, no complaints. I'd definitely come back.

Their menu selection is to my liking. Particularly the omelette entrées. There's the meat lovers,…read moreand other traditional omelettes like the Denver. Sometimes I crave just meat and cheese and no veggies which they serve. They also serve a ham & egg scramble which is eggs and diced ham. The food portion sizes are also large. One can easily share a meal if you are a lite breakfast eater. The sour dough toast slices were even large as well as my croissant. I ordered BLTA croissant, which is BLT and Avocado. Thick slices of tomato, avocado, and crisp iceberg lettuce with lite mayo spread and comes with your choice of sides. I choose French fries but they have a rosemary breakfast potato I stared to get but maybe next time for sure. My fries were served hot & crispy (not hard). The size of my croissant and mountain of fries covered my entire plate. There is a wait but it is worth every minute. Service is superb. The prices are very reasonable. I also had the peach mango mimosas called Da Bomb! And it was indeed. I got a nice buzz it was cold and refreshing. And not served in a narrow flute glass for only $11. I didn't need a second glass and probably would have stumbled my way out if I had. I've been traveling between Napa and Sacramento for monthly brunches for the past five years. It's a family tradition adopted following the pandemic. Most restaurants that I choose is based on the menu items. Oh and another entrée the Heritage serves is loaded grits. This and the meat lovers omelette caught my attention. Our tab plus beverage and tax for table of two was under $45. If you are a breakfast lover and want a nice breakfast meal in a cozy cafe located in downtown Vacaville where the price is right - you don't want to miss out. There's also out door dining. I don't know the history behind this place or how they been around but this was like finding a gold mine. Not sure how other businesses in the area can compete. Again it's a small cozy spot, warm house atmosphere, not noisy, and once seated food comes faster than the wait time. Excellent customer service. If I was a regular breakfast eater I think I could eat here everyday. I could surly afford it and that's a fact. Well Mac Donald's breakfast is fast and inexpensive and that's the only comparison. There's one restaurant chain I will no longer bother to dine at now that I've been to Heritage House Cafe. If you care not to try Heritage cafe for yourself that's okay. This keeps wait time shorter. lol. Seriously I think you will enjoy their meals, the atmosphere, great service and sparkling mimosas'
