We realized we'd never had Five Guys and always wanted to, so we decided to try them on our way out of town. When we got there, all the employees greeted us, which we liked. Customer service hasn't been what it used to, so it was a nice gesture. The decor reminded me of In-N-Out, with its vintage feel. We both decided on the classic combo with the little burger, fries, and a drink. As we were waiting for our food, the place started getting very busy, and we were glad we got a spot to sit in. Once your food was done we were given our food in a bag. We were a little puzzled but decided to just use the bag as a tray to put the food on. The "little burger and fries" were not little to us and we were both glad we didn't upgrade anything to something bigger. The burgers were really good, just a little too much bun. We were pleasantly surprised that mushrooms and sautéed onions came on the burger, even though some might not like that. The fries were very crispy and hot which my husband loved. Everything was really good, but my husband noticed on an ad that they fry their fries in peanut oil. I have a slight issue with peanut oil, but some people could be really allergic. They should definitely let people know before they order. All in all, we will definitely be back again in the future. The employees were nice, the business was clean, and the food was good. The burger is always flavorful and I love me some grilled shrooms and jalapeños. The fries can be hit and miss though. Five Guys is great. The only downside is the price. We went around 2pm. They have some knowledge regarding gluten free. I order a bacon cheeseburger lettuce wrap with a gluten allergy and a large fries. The only complaint was they put my wife's gluten burger in with the fries.
