My sister and I decided to stop by our local IHOP, to see why it wasn't busy on a Saturday, at 5pm. Everyone was out Christmas shopping...?? Kind of a mystery... 1. The service was excellent....the ambience was super festive, the food was waaay above average...the prices were very competitive! Some meaks were below the FAST FOOD prices! , I can only come to my personal conclusion, that it is all about LOCATION! I will definitely be recommending this establishment. It is very welcoming, very clean, food is tasty ( Some of the best ONION RINGS!!), THERE are new boothes, Habla Español, GREAT coffee! Fernanda was our server, very attentive, and pleasant! Seriously, if our local people don't support this franchise, we will lose I.H.O.P...WHO doesn't love pancakes?? Anyway, we loved it and hope you will give it a chance!!

Service was decent. I think our server may have been new because my order was not what I asked for but it was still good and he seemed a little stressed. Bacon was crisp and the cheesecake pancakes would have tasted better without so much strawberry syrup. It was clean and the noise level was perfect for brunch. May try the lunch or dinner menu next time.

IHOP should be ashamed of themselves. This was a Grub Hub order and I don't believe they would have had the nerve to serve this if I had been sitting in their establishment. This avocado toast was about $15. My boyfriend ordered a pancake meal and only got one packet of syrup for two pancakes. I would NOT recommend ordering take out from this IHOP.

I placed an order for pick up at 10:33am. The order said it'd be ready by 10:49. We walked in at 10:51 and the waitress stated it'd only be a couple more minutes. I did use my rewards so I was trying to be understanding. However, as we are waiting a guy walks into the door and gets seated. She knows the guy. I waited until 11:15 and I see that the guy that got seated, RECEIVED HIS FOOD AT HIS TABLE BEFORE US. I say "excuse me" out loud and she completely ignores me. All we ordered was 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 1 slice of french toast, and a full stack. I am appalled at the customer service this restaurant provided. There was no explanation and no apologies given that it took 45 min to get our food. I do not recommend their service here.

I just made a call regarding the promotion that was advertised. I waited for about 15-20 min. for someone to answer. Finally, a lady picked-up & sounds like she doesn't know what I'm talking about. She put me on hold for 5-10 minutes then it was hanged-up. Where is customer service in this part.??? Manager should response to this immediate matter so it will not happen again. I was thinking of making reservation for a group of dozen women. You just lost a business!!

Food was cold but service by Alexandra was awesome! She made the experience better by being professional, helpful, and courteous.

I HOP is open in Vacaville and it's better than ever. The food was great and they have more staff than before. In the past they had one waitress and no busboy .That has all changed.I believe they have new owners. You actually get customer service.I have been back twice since they reopened in June 2022. I hope they keep up the good work. Please bring back Harvest Grain Pancake.

From the outside this place looks closed. The parking lot empty and when we entered we were seated immediately. We were the only customers which made me wonder why. Once seated we were greeted by our waitress Ashleigh who was very friendly and had a welcoming smile. We asked for the holiday menu and she quickly got it for us. I ordered the pumpkin pancakes and omelette. Honey ordered the strawberry crepe combo. The food was great! Looked exactly like the picture in the menu and tasted just as you expected it to taste. The pancakes were fluffy and moist. The eggs we're fresh and tasty. The hash browns were crunchy. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised but I'm giving this spot !

What a wonderful atmosphere! This is the second time I've gone in the last few weeks, and enjoyed my favorite dish - avocado toast with two poached eggs, fruit, and very tasty coffee! The best thing about being here is the friendly demeanor of the delightful waitress, Tresa! She made my day with her friendliness and the extreme care she took of everyone in restaurant! In a world where you can be anywhere- be kind. Tresa is!

I came in with my family around 9am. Was greeted by a kind young gentleman named Issak. The place was busy and the staff was all so kind. We got seated in rhe back room. Food was hot and delicious. The manager Aliah was so friendly and noticed her helping her staff seat and clean tables. This is definitely a nice place to come have breakfast. Very clean. They don't have it on the menu but the store manager mentioned I can order oatmeal and I can add some fresh fruit. You will be seeing more of us here. We felt very welcomed

It won't belong till this IHOP closes down again. However they can host large large groups they have a private banquet room that can accommodate about 30-50 people easily and it has a door that closes and blinds that can be closed for maximum group privac If you don't employee great people. People won't come back as word of mouth gets around. Why do you give guest a special menu that says 3:00 to 8pm and then you won't honor it because it isn't close to that time shouldn't you be giving out these menus as it gets closer to 3:00 pm and not between hours of 2:30pm that is like false advertising folks. Employees who talk back to customers rudely isn't kind of staff I personally wouldn't employee. Also menu with out prices is pointless to customers I heard black oak restaurant maybe having a comeback they closed due to pandemic so keep your eyes open folks or, if you want a good breakfast head on out to a near by small town called Winters CA and dine at PUTAH CREEK CAFE they have an impressive menu that won't Break the Bank you won't be disappointed and they also have great outdoor seating options. Also, don't get a cheeseburger here they don't cook it just look at the pink in my patty.

We arrived about 1 PM just after the lunch, rush and before happy hour. We ordered street tacos chicken tortilla soup and margaritas! Chips and salsa were delivered to the table minutes after we sat down. Hips came with three different sales including one with pineapple that was very tasty. The server was a very nice lady named Eunice. She brought us water and took our drink orders. I he margaritas came out fast and were flavorful with a nice kick to them. The restaurant itself was clean and had two sections to it as well as a bar. There were TVs all around, so we were able to watch a cooking show and some sporting events in between catching up with my besties. The food came out and everything was hot and fresh and if you know me that is vevery important! We finished off the chicken tortilla soup, which was seasoned really well and big chunks of chicken and avocado and lots of cheese. The street tacos were very good and just enough to get a taste. If you're ever in Vacaville and looking for Mexican food, I would definitely recommend stopping by.

The refried beans and rice were good. The food arrived hot which was much appreciated. Opted for the hot salsa and mixed it with the milder salsa for a wonderful result. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

I'm writing this with genuine sadness, as this café was once a place I truly loved and supported…read morefrom the very beginning. I've been a customer since they first opened, regularly enjoying the sweet lattes, toast, and açaí bowls, and it was an atmosphere where I felt comfortable bringing my daughter, studying, and spending time with friends. Over the past six months, my daughter and I have noticed a shift as customer service has declined, the food quality has changed, and prices have continued to rise. I hadn't said anything before, as I generally don't like to complain, but what happened during my most recent visit was deeply hurtful and ultimately led me to realize this may have been my last time coming here. On Monday, February 16th around 11 a.m., my teenage daughter and I stopped in after the gym for our usual açaí bowls. When we approached the young cashier, we weren't greeted at all something that stood out enough that we exchanged an awkward laugh as we decided to greet her. After paying around $38 for two bowls and a latte, I returned to the counter to politely share that the açaí tasted like it might be missing something. The young cashier, who had already seemed bothered by our presence, offered to remake them. Before deciding, I simply asked whether the açaí mix is pre-made or mixed fresh each time, as that would help me determine whether a remake would be desired. At that point, a woman who appeared to be the manager rushed in from the back and answered my question in a very abrupt and aggressive tone. Feeling taken back by her abrupt insertion and tone I responded that I would prefer a refund. The young cashier who was previously speaking with me then added that if I got a refund, the bowls would not be remade. I was honestly taken aback, as it felt like an implication that I would desire to get something for free, which was never my intention. I responded through raised eyebrows 'I know' though honestly offended at the assumption. What happened next is what truly stayed with me. The manager then raised her voice and told me, "Take your refund and get out!" I was startled at this abrupt change in the conversation and tried to figure out what triggered the outburst from the manager. I wasn't angry, I wasn't demanding, and I wasn't trying to cause a scene. I was simply offering feedback about a product I paid for and hoped to order again in the future. That interaction left a lasting emotional impact on me. Being spoken to so harshly especially in front of my daughter was painful. It also made me reflect on whether I was treated this way for reasons beyond the situation itself. As a woman of color, I can't help but question whether my presence or my voice was viewed as less welcome. I'm sharing this not out of anger, but out of heartbreak. This was a place I once loved, and it's difficult to accept that my business, feedback, and humanity were met with such hostility. I hope this feedback encourages reflection for this business which I once enjoyed, because no long-standing customer should ever leave feeling dismissed, unwelcome, or disrespected in this way.

A friend and I met here for lunch to celebrate her birthday and catch up. We arrived right at opening and had the place to ourselves for about an hour. Guests slowly trickled in closer to the lunch rush, but I was honestly surprised it wasn't packed -- because what they're serving deserves more buzz. We ordered the chicken tikka kebab, butter chicken, methi malai shrimp, and garlic naan. I'll admit, I was skeptical about the chicken tikka since I'm not usually a fan of chicken breast (hello, dryness). But this? Tender, juicy, well-seasoned, and paired beautifully with the mint sauce. A strong start. The butter chicken was slightly different from what I'm used to -- more red orange in color, clearly leaning into a stronger tomato base. Creamy, flavorful, and a bit brighter than the typical richer versions. Different, but still very good. And then... the methi malai shrimp. Wow. Just wow. This was new to me and absolutely the standout. The coconut-based sauce was rich without being heavy, beautifully balanced, and full of flavor. The shrimp were cooked perfectly -- tender, not rubbery, and not curled tight (which usually signals overcooking). This dish alone makes the 30-minute drive worth it. I've since checked menus closer to home hoping to find it elsewhere... no luck. The garlic naan was the perfect companion -- flavorful but not overpowering, ideal for scooping up every last bit of sauce from both dishes. Service deserves its own spotlight. The host/waiter was phenomenal -- attentive without hovering. Water glasses stayed filled, he checked in just enough, and at one point mentioned he didn't want to interrupt because it looked like we were deep in conversation. That level of awareness? Appreciated. Smaller, intimate setting. Thoughtful service. Well-executed food. If you're in Vacaville and craving Indian food, give this place a try. In my opinion, it absolutely holds its own -- and maybe even edges out the more "popular" spot in town. And yes, I'll be back for that methi malai shrimp.

We were seated immediately, which I always appreciate. The space is pretty big with a modern feel, and there's plenty of parking out front (no circling the lot like a hawk -- love that). Even though they gave us the lunch menu, we went à la carte. Ordered: tandoori chicken, butter chicken, coconut shrimp, butter naan, and rice -- all medium spice where applicable. The tandoori chicken was tender and well seasoned -- no dry chicken nonsense here. The butter chicken was exactly what you want it to be: rich, creamy, tomato-forward, and comforting. But the one that caught me off guard a bit was the coconut shrimp -- creamy, slightly sweet, and a little more mild than "medium" heat, probably because of the coconut milk, but still really good. And listen... the butter naan? Fresh, warm, and absolutely necessary. Both the butter chicken and coconut shrimp were made for dipping. No shame in wiping those plates clean. Service was great. Staff was kind, checked in on us without hovering, and kept our water filled without us needing to flag anyone down. Overall -- easy, enjoyable lunch. Good food, good service, no complaints.
