The staff here were kind and very accommodating for my wheelchair. We went twice over the weekend, as we were staying in a nearby hotel, and both times were good experiences. I was feeling sick the first time, so we switched our order to go after we got it, and that wasn't an issue at all. The second time, the sever got my meal wrong, but he switched it promptly when we let him know. I didn't mind a bit! My only complaint was that the server kept bumping into my wheelchair the second time we went there, which was actually quite painful for me. Good food, good service! read more

I had a very odd request when I sat down from my breakfast this morning I wanted a chicken fried steak omelette smothered and country gravy. It's not on the menu but the kitchen staff made it for me and it was perfect. Our server was very nice extremely accommodating her name is Tomania.. we'll be coming back to this location and getting that omelette again in the future because the manager took down the ingredients and he's going to make it a special someday. read more

Ordered Strawberry Crepes to go and when asked for extra strawberry syrup we were told that everything was in the bag. Went home and no strawberries or any topping for the crepe. Called back and spoke with a Will and was basically accused of lying. No resolution besides having to drive all the way back to pick up a new order which we didn't want to do at this point due to fear of them possibly spitting in our food. My brother, mom and I had lunch here today and it was super delicious! Two meals were the classic bacon burger with fries and one was a chicken burger I believe. I was surprised that they had great tasting burgers considering their breakfast reputation of pancakes. I can back that up too, they do have delicious pancakes! Uhm they don't salt their fries I believe, which is perfect so that we can salt them to our liking. They also give you a big serving of the fries also. The burgers do look small, but it turns out to be a filling size since they stack it with two strips of bacon, one slice of cheese, one patty, two tomato slices, a few pickle slices, one onion slice and a piece of lettuce. Destiney was our server today and she was really nice to us and everyone she helped. It was pretty quiet today around 12:30pm (06/18/18),I think because kids were at school. So let me start off by saying we live down the street and go here regularly enough that most of the staff recognize our order when we call it in, never had a problem before. Today when my husband picked up our food and brought it home it was all wrong. I normally order a custom omelette with white cheese sauce, bacon, and spinach. This time around they threw on two half melted slices of plasticky cheese and no bacon. My husband runs back up there to have them fix it and not only does the man at the front tell him he'll have to pay for a whole new one, but flat out tells him no such sauce even exists. It's on the bacon temptation omelette, I've been getting it for years. I even took a screenshot of the online description to prove it does in fact exist and he basically just told us we were lying and to pay AGAIN or get out. On Sunday, November 13, 2016, my husband and I wanted to enjoy a simple breakfast with our children (7-years-old and 3-years-old). We were told that our wait to be seated would be 15-20 minutes; it was apparent that they were busy and had a full house. Within this timeframe, we observed the manager, Jerry (whomever I spoke with over the phone was not able to provide me his last name), was highly irritable, frustrated and completely lacked hospitable customer service. While waiting to be seated, 3 instances caught my attention: (1) *An announcement was made over the speaker, "A Silver Dodge Neon is parked in the fire lane and needs to be moved immediately"* Jerry proceeded this announcement with "What is wrong with these people?! These people are so stupid!" I thought to myself "Are you not aware that you are surrounded by people (and children!) who are watching you? Shouldn't you be concerned about how you're reflecting this establishment?" (2) *A pregnant Muslim woman with a child (about 2-years-old) joined another Muslim woman and a white woman in the waiting area* Jerry approached the white woman "Have you been helped? Oh, you're with them - you're together?" and proceeded to obnoxiously ask them to move out of his way each time he walked by. I brushed this off - I thought "crap, this guy is a complete ***hole. Why is he even in this type of business?" (3) *A couple walks-in and quickly walks-out due to the overwhelming crowd in the waiting area* Jerry rushes an employee (Hispanic male), "Hurry, go get them!" and shoos the employee to run outside to get the couple for business - mind you, the lobby is already full. At this point, *insert wtf face here* I feel like I look completely dumbfounded by Jerry's actions. Fast forward - The 3 women and child were seated before us. Coincidentally, we were seated shortly after and only a few tables away from them. Before we were even asked what we'd like to drink, the pregnant woman and Jerry were exchanging words that escalated into an argument. Their party was seated at a half booth/half table - the white woman and pregnant woman on the booth seat, the other Muslim woman opposite of the white woman, and the child was in a highchair in the "aisle" between the other table. Jerry was VERY adamant that the child's highchair cannot be placed in this 24-inch (I think the number was 24?) aisle because it is a fire hazard. I thought to myself "Dude, 24 inches!? Wtf is 24 inches? He has an entire restaurant to run... why is he picking on this particular situation?" NEVER, in my life, have I had any trouble from ANY restaurant regarding the placement of my children's highchair... and if you know my family, we eat out a lot (just saying). And, if a fire were to erupt, that highchair would be the least of my concerns - I'd be flipping and hopping over tables and chairs to reach safety. Jerry proceeded with "ma'am, we've already been written up for violating [rules]," and moved the child's highchair (with the child in the highchair!) across from his mother. The child started crying! He attempted to show the women how having a highchair in the 24-inch aisle is a hazard and how waiters/waitresses need to access this space - he began to move the table around and bumped the pregnant woman's belly with the table, which he did not apologize for! Jerry continued his fight and announced "I have the right to refuse service, and if you cannot follow these rules, I will have to call the police." The Muslim women pleaded for him to call the police because they felt they weren't doing anything wrong... The women asked for the manager, and Jerry said "I am the manager." At this point, *insert wtf face here* I feel like I look even more dumbfounded and tears begin to fall from my eyes. The women and child ended up leaving because who the hell wouldn't after that entire fiasco? I'm sure they just wanted to have a simple breakfast just as I did with my family, but then this bs happened? And for what? I was and still remain confused - feeling all sorts of emotions. If I'm feeling hurt, heartbroken and pissed the f*ck off... and what more for the women and child? My kids were hungry so we stayed and ate, but I couldn't quite grasp the words to explain to them why I was crying and what we just witnessed. The area we sat in had about 9 seating areas, and we all witnessed what happened - I don't think (at least I hope) I wasn't the only person who felt awkward at the situation that unfolded before us. Also, for the record, the waitress didn't use the aisle - she served plates of food, drinks, etc. from across the table. I don't know what Jerry's actions stem from. I'm not activist nor a public speaker by any means and I don't do politics. Is Jerry sexist? Racist? Just an old fricken grump? Whatever the case, is this what IHOP stands by? read more

The coffee is extremely weak and has a strange after taste. And since IHOP discontinued griddle cakes, it has gone completely down hill. Bring them back NOW!!! The pancakes are now flavorless. No griddle flavor whatsoever. And what ever happened to being served plenty of hot maple syrup? I stopped in IHOP because they are open late and I had someone flying in after 2 am. I had eaten dinner earlier and didn't need a full meal. I asked the waiter about available soups and the only one available didn't appeal to me so I ordered a house salad with Italian dressing on the side. What arrived was a nice salad of mixed greens with diced tomatoes and red onion, absolutely covered in dressing, not in a side container. The greens that were not doused in dressing were good, a nice mix of baby spinach and other non-iceberg greens. The onions were full on ONIONS and graced me with lazer breath for quite some time. The tomatoes were pink, lifeless and mealy. I guess someone didn't get the memo about not putting tomatoes in the frig or the one about buying red tomatoes, not pink in the middle of summer. I'm not sure why it was called an Italian dressing. Its main quality was creamy, with no tang and no herbs. I ordered a lemon lime soda since I had enough caffeine in my system and it tasted musty, which was pretty amazing since they charged $2.99 for a rather small glass. Clean your soda lines on a regular basis, it would help a lot. Service was marginally ok. It seemed the server was constantly busy dealing with mistakes at the table next to me but I wasn't ordering a full meal, so that may explain why I rarely saw the server. The only section open was mostly full but most of the tables were finishing up but I am not sure why the server couldn't check in on me after trying to fix the mistakes at the next table. There is a reason I don't go to IHOP and this location did its best to reinforce that. read more

One of my friends and I went there for breakfast today. First they did not bring part of the food we had ordered. Then we were asked to leave because had been taking too long to eat. The bathrooms were so bad that they could not be used prior to eating or there would have been no appetite. The manager was rude when he asked us to leave as if we were hassling him or purposefully staying at the table. Ok... here we go. If you're considering going to this place, please reconsider. As you know from my previous review I'd rather eat locally than at some chain. Enough said. The only reason I was here recently for breakfast, and today, for a mid-afternoon dinner, was due to gift cards. I've been all over their menu online and knew what they had to offer in the way of entrees, burgers, and sandwiches. None if it really reached out and grabbed me but I went there today to use up these gift cards. As in my breakfast review, kudos to the server. Nice, Attentive. I ate light for breakfast this morning and really haven't been hungry, so I figured this would be my meal for the day. I ordered the 55+ Roasted Turkey Dinner. Added a salad with honey mustard dressing and it was beyond my expectations. Good. The "Senior's" turkey dinner came, and oh my goodness - look at it - it was a plate FULL of food. Nothing worth writing home about, but flavor was good. Dressing seemed to be some kind of paste. I'd have it again, maybe next year or the year after. When all is said and done I went to the front (you have to go to the front if you pay with gift cards), and the greeter there ran my card. She then printed out a thing where I could write in a tip. Did that, and then as she was entering it into her computer something was not going right. After a bit of frustration (on her part) she called for her manager. Her manager couldn't straighten it out either. Eventually the manager says "I have to go back in get Jerry" (or some name like that). I take a seat and try to be patient, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Eventually "Jerry" comes out and it was clear he is the franchise owner. As he approaches the greeters stand with the manager he says "I don't know how the hell you operate this thing!", meaning their computer program, but he says this in front of customers. Jerry and the manager fiddle with my card for a couple of minutes, at times arguing, and never acknowledging my presence as a customer, or potential future customer (lol...forget that!). Eventually after a couple of minutes I looked at the manager and asked "I'm I all paid up?". She replied "Yes". and I told them that when they get it figured out, keep the remaining balance on the gift card, and then walked out Apparently what had happened is their computer program accepted my payment on my gift card, but then it said that I still owed for my entree. Stayed overnight in Seattle and they're right in the parking lot of my hotel. honestly, I wasn't that excited about eating there because when I was growing up it was pretty much the same thing as Denny's - cheap and crappy. I went in there tonight and was blown away that everything was so fresh and quality. Fresh Ramin lettuce salad ( not iceberg and croutons). but with quality non slithery bacon and whole wheat. Very cheap, considering the quality. It was about $12. The service was nice and FAST. I would highly recommend them... Also, they have much more than pancakes! read more

I went into this place with my gf and told the hostess there would be a party of 4 because I was waiting for her sisters. When my name got called the hostess asked where the other 2 people in my party. I replied that they were ten min away. She said they can't sit partial because they need to turn over the tables fast or else it's bad for business. This review is for July 17, 2017. This IHOP is familiar -- like all IHOP restaurants. No surprises. But a few things stand out. They are clearly under staffed and sighs saying "positions available" in the windows support that. They know they need help. What got my (negative) attention was that the cooks are behind a low glass-topped wall and all their conversations with and comments to the servers could be heard in the dining room. Twice a patron sent something back and a comment was made by the cook that should have been private, but instead was barked back for all to hear; unprofessional. I have to say how disappointed I am in IHOP in SeaTac. My Granddaughter wanted to go there because she loves their pancakes and she has had a rough summer so far. To cheer her up we went to IHOP. I am on a special diet and asked for eggs, bacon and sausage links only. The waitress took my order, the food came as ordered and was decent. My shock came when the bill came and I was charged 12.49 before tax for those 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon and 2 sausage links. I asked the waitress if it was the correct price and she said yes. I could buy a whole pound of bacon and a dozen eggs for that price. Additionally my friend ordered an appetizer sampler and they fried the chicken strips so hard they were inedible...rocks. Again we spoke to the waitress and she just laughed it off. I will NEVER eat here again. The lack of action on the waitress' part was inexcusable. Pretty sure she could have rang my food up a little differently so that it made more sense. read more

Our waitress came by seemed ok gave us menus and was pretty quick to take our order and that is where the good service ended. Glasses were empty she would walk by the table look and walk faster away, we were barely able to catch her and ask for refills which she seemed none to pleased about. After about a half hour my MIL was able to catch her and ask her how much longer the wait would be we all had pancakes or French toast dishes except 1 lunch meal which she said was sitting in the window. She finally brings the meal and doesnt even bother to ask if we need anything else. As we are eating there are 2 men behind the counter obviously having a disagreement about when something was done dont they have a back room or something i dont need to hear your staffing issues I can see them clearly at this point. I guess our waitress had a last ditch effort when we were done attempting to be a decent server asking if we wanted drinks to go...no they would have been nice to wash our meal down with and sorry the two sips in a cup of ice doesnt go very far. On my way out there was a lady at the entrance where you get seated and I leaned over and said our service was terrible I had to repeat it because I wasnt trying to rudely get attention just trying to let someone know. So if you go here and your waitress comes and her name tag says Barbara dont expect anything resembling good service. read more

Where do I start? Ihop is like that bad ex of yours that you keep going back to because you think they've changed. They havent. While I was in there I waited about 25 minutes for my to go order and no body knew anything apparently/ Literally the two people working only said I dont know to everything or its my first day etc. Your first day should probably be paperwork then if your going to space out. The register worker spent over 5 minutes counting back change to one man so that the line grew. I can see why people arent tipping here. Saw one guy leave 1 dollar on the table and people ringing up werent tipping. Its not like it was busy. Another couple waited 10 minutes to pay while people were running around and just asking them if they paid yet. No they replied. While my food was good I waited so long for it that no one knew where it went. Apparently it was lukewarm but at least not cold. I guess the worst part is that they let transients openly walk in and bother customers. Sorry I'm not loaning my phone out to you to use; just so you can run off with it. One couple stood in line forever to get their pancakes free and had a coupon on phone but it didnt have a barcode. They were kind of being jerks but why not just honor the coupon to get them to leave; they made a scene the whole time swearing and stuff. Its a really uncomfrotable place to go. Too bad I can't leave anything less than 1 star. I Came here late this evening with my boyfriend to grab a late bite (around 10pm). There were no more than 3 customers at this time and the place was extremely slow. The skinny guy takes us to our seats and we order our food within 5 minutes of sitting down. We see two other female workers sitting down chatting in the back. I thought maybe they were on their break so I didn't think anything of it. Luckily, where we sat I was able to see exactly when our food was ready to be served to us. Not 5 minutes not 10 but 12 minutes pass and the two females AND skinny dude in the front walk by our food and do absolutely nothing. Not even communicate to the bitch in the back on the phone that our food is ready. My blood was boiling at this point, so we got up and as we were walking out, told the skinny dude I saw our food sitting there for over 10 minutes. He barely gives me eye contact and says "ok". After that experience we will NEVER go back to that IHOP again. I work in the food industry and I know for a fact that this behavior is completely unacceptable and you should always give your customer a sense of urgency no matter what time of day. I hope they hire better and more qualified employees then those useless wastes of space. For the manager: I didn't catch the name of your employees but their were 3 - one male and two females, working at 10pm on Thursday night July 21, 2016.
