Ihop Sirloin Steak Tips, mashed potatoes, french fries, and water
Daniella A.

I got a sirloin steap tips, mashes potatoes, french fries, and water. There were more mushrooms and onions than steak-but that's okay! still loved it anyway-and it filled me up-had to take some home. ALSO-frensesco is a very funny guy! we asked him to take a pic for us, he said "with ur phone or my phone"

This review isn't about IHOP's food, but about their policies and choice of employees. We were actually going to help at a fundraiser event, at the Sleep Inn, that is next to the restaurant. We did park next to IHOP (there is a very big parking lot with IHOP on one side and Sleep Inn on the other), but there were no signs at all on that side, saying "IHOP parking only", or "violators will be towed", nothing. (I took pictures) Anyway, when we came out after the event our car was gone! We asked the IHOP hostess about it and she said yes, it was towed. We told her there was no signs out there, and she said "well, there is on the other side, and you were in our spot..." It's like she just sits there waiting to see someone park there and walk over to the hotel so she can, gleefully, call the towing company. Which, btw, was Skyway Towing that charged us $682 to get our car out!! But that will be a different review... She was very curt, rude, and not the least bit sorry for what she just cost us.

Chicken and Pancakes

They were very quick to seat us, drinks were served quick and order was quick Food came quick as well. It's not as big as other IHOP I've been too but it's pack. They have booth with glasses between the booths. Plenty of seats for groups up to 4. There's so much you can say about eggs, bacon and toast lol I had my eggs over easy and I think it was made exactly to how I like it. Server keep checking in. I would definitely come back

Senior 55+ menu

Great Service! Came for breakfast on a Sunday. The parking lot was full which indicated it was busy. We walked in and were greeted with a smile. The host sat us immediately. Our server Ellie introduced herself and told us about a special promo they had. She brought us coffee and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. We are seniors and decided on ordering from the 55+ selections. Our food came in a timely matter and everything was as expected. I observed other staff members that were very pleasant as well. I also observed the way they cleaned up the tables, booths, chairs, floor area after guest left. Impressive cleaning procedures. This was my first experience at an IHop restaurant that was outstanding in all aspects. Keep up the great work!

This is my first time with a negative experience at IHOP. It was downright discriminatory and disrespectful on all levels. What's my part in it? Well we walk in as a group of 4 people. Two ladies a young girl and me. It was around 9p so service was slow. No staff at the entry we waited for 5 mins nobody seemed to be coming we looked for our seats and sat down in an area that had several people. We waited 20 mins and I realized nobody was tending to us so I got the waiter's attention. He was a young Latino boy looking like a high school student. He walked up and explained that we should have waited to be seated and that we were disrespectful for sitting ourselves. Mind you the sign that states this is on the inside wall and not in view when customers walk in so we missed it easily not intentionally. I proceed to explain this to him. If they had a problem with us sitting ourselves down. Why didn't any staff member approach us and explain this to us rather than childishly ignore us and not respond to any service. I am highly disappointed and would appreciate better training for the staff at the SeaTac IHOP across from Sleep Inn Hotel. Don't make assumptions about your customers state your displeasure upfront and move on with doing your job.

Hotdogs instead of sausage? Let's not cut corners

Quick grab and go breakfast near seatac airport. I'd say for the most part it is the usual IHOP standard. My complaint however is I ordered the smokehouse sausage breakfast and it was not smokehouse sausage it was hotdogs lol.. they were grilled but that is not what I ordered or usually how it's served. Otherwise the pancakes, eggs, and hash browns were the usually quality. My server Barb was friendly and accommodating. The establishment is clean. I witnessed them cleaning tables and disinfecting salt and pepper shakers after each guest. They are also complying with social distancing by having the plexiglass dividers. Updated - car likely to be damaged. My car was scrapped up. Upon entering another patron was telling the manager how the last time he dined here his truck was broken into. I asked the manager to run the outside cameras back so I could get the plate number and of course the cameras are just for show and do not work. The entry to this establishment was also broken into and the door now is covered by a piece of wood.

OMG! This is the IHOP I remember. Super clean, good food at a decent price. And the service was outstanding. Very friendly and not just to me. All the tables had great service. I had to go in early to the plant I was working at and stepped out to eat. I was hungry! Ordered the chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. Since I was off the healthy good bandwagon for the day I treated myself with boysenberry syrup. I will come back for a meal without the carbs and sugar soon.

The customers

I was out with a older friend she is always curious about the menu asks a lot of questions. Our waitress Carmen was very patient with her I appreciate her customer service. We have a delightful conversation with her. Later on I had to use the restroom and the cleaner Maria was in the middle of cleaning it, instead of telling me that the bathroom was closed she stopped in the middle and stopped to let me go. FYI the restroom was supper clean and smelt good

Basically $18.00 for an omelet and pancakes. When did IHOP get so expensive for diner food?

The outside was nice too as you could enjoy the weather in a relaxing patio area with nature, manicured green grass, trees, with the sounds of the trickling fountain. They also had a bar area for that very casual, louder vibe to just talk and/or catch a game on the TV. We went with the dining area and Julissa was our server and she took very good care of us. She was courteous, attentive, and thoughtful. She recommended a few of her favorites when we asked her for suggestions. Charcoal Grilled Pork Chop: coconut-ginger braised collard greens, grilled spring onion, pork jus, wasabi butter (4/5). The Double cut portion was cooked to medium. It was tender, juicy, and the juices had a sweetness to it. The wasabi butter was good and not overpowering. I'd order this again. Superfood Salad: white bean hummus, quinoa, kale, carrots, blueberries, golden berries, cashews, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, avocado, herbs, feta, lemon-sesame vinaigrette (4/5). My wife really enjoyed her salad. I admit it was full of good ingredients but a tad bit heavy-handed on the dressing. Don't get me wrong the vinaigrette was delicious. Banana Bread Pudding (5/5) - Moist, crisp on the edges, and smothered in warm caramel sauce - this decadent bread pudding paired with vanilla ice cream was absolute perfection! We'd definitely come back the next time we're in the area. Support your local business.

We sat down to sticky booths that looked like they hadn't been dusted or cleaned in years. I didn't want to lean back and let my hair touch it. That kind of a booth. Next, we ordered coffee. The server said it comes with half and half and as she was about to walk away, I remembered my friend liked milk so I said, "oh don't you prefer whole milk." The server said they serve half and half with coffee and they don't have whole milk just 2% and if we we wanted anything else she could pour water in it. Normally this banter would be fine. This wasn't banter. She was annoyed. We stuck with the half and half. We looked at the menus that were COATED with sticky stuff all over the plastic and falling apart. It looked like a studen'ts notebook after a full year in grade school. We ordered a strawberry lemonade. Normally, my daughter will drink anything. It tasted like chemicals. Since two of us ordered two different types of benedict, the server came with sharper knives. She then WIPED THEM CLEAN with a towel hanging from her pocket. 20 min. later we got our order. Well 2 of us did. Mine was the wrong item so had to send back and they had to make me the correct one. No apologies from our server. We then had to ask for a third place setting. The server got it and when my daughter was using the benedict knife, the server took it FROM HER HANDS and gave it to our friend since she was eating french toast. The food was not good. The french toast tasted like dry bread coated in eggs. In other words, it hadn't soaked up any of the batter. My benedict's hollanaise sauce was in fact, some weird cheez-it mixture... it was orange and congealed. Let me add that it was a Monday at 9:30AM. It was NOT busy. Also word of warning, DO NOT use the restrooms. Just nopity nope nope nope.

Definitely part of the Corner Bakery Cafe chain, they are not picked randomly from place to place. In the Southcenter area, it's actually a great breakfast spot that has a fast food vibe, but a casual dining presence. And the food is actually really good. There are self service beverages, like soda and tea, but there is also self service coffee. It comes down to what you want to eat, and its short order speed, and done well. They do have a multitude of fresh baked dail items, but if you look up, you'll see a complex breakfast menu. Scrambled eggs, and bacon. The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.
