We waited at our table for over 8-10 minutes with my wife and children, but unfortunately, no one came to take our order I understand that restaurants can get busy, and we are more than willing to be patient when service is delayed. However, the issue was that the servers saw us but did not approach our table. We also noticed that another party who arrived minutes after us was greeted and had their drink order taken before anyone attended to us. At that point, we decided to leave because we felt ignored and unwelcome. It was disappointing, especially when we were there to spend our money and enjoy a meal with our family. I hope management can look into this situation and remind the staff about the importance of acknowledging and assisting every customer, regardless of how busy the restaurant may be. We simply expect to be treated with the same level of attention and respect as any other customer. read more

Early Wednesday morning breakfast around 6am before dropping our friends off to the airport. Plenty parking next to a hotel, convenient distance to the airport and light rail station. We were the first ones to dine in at the time and the host and waitress were sweethearts. Both were attentive and personable. We were a group of 4, we all ordered a dish. The breakfast burrito was larger than expected which was a nice surprise. We got 2 country fried steak and eggs, one with white toast and other with double hash browns. I'd definitely ask for extra gravy on the side, this morning they were a little skimpy. Our other dish was biscuits and gravy plate that came with eggs, sausage and hashbrowns. This review isn't about IHOP's food, but about their policies and choice of employees. We were actually going to help at a fundraiser event, at the Sleep Inn, that is next to the restaurant. We did park next to IHOP (there is a very big parking lot with IHOP on one side and Sleep Inn on the other), but there were no signs at all on that side, saying "IHOP parking only", or "violators will be towed", nothing. (I took pictures) Anyway, when we came out after the event our car was gone! We asked the IHOP hostess about it and she said yes, it was towed. We told her there was no signs out there, and she said "well, there is on the other side, and you were in our spot..." It's like she just sits there waiting to see someone park there and walk over to the hotel so she can, gleefully, call the towing company. Which, btw, was Skyway Towing that charged us $682 to get our car out!! But that will be a different review... She was very curt, rude, and not the least bit sorry for what she just cost us. read more

Great Service! Came for breakfast on a Sunday. The parking lot was full which indicated it was busy. We walked in and were greeted with a smile. The host sat us immediately. Our server Ellie introduced herself and told us about a special promo they had. She brought us coffee and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. We are seniors and decided on ordering from the 55+ selections. Our food came in a timely matter and everything was as expected. I observed other staff members that were very pleasant as well. I also observed the way they cleaned up the tables, booths, chairs, floor area after guest left. Impressive cleaning procedures. This is my first time with a negative experience at IHOP. It was downright discriminatory and disrespectful on all levels. What's my part in it? Well we walk in as a group of 4 people. Two ladies a young girl and me. It was around 9p so service was slow. No staff at the entry we waited for 5 mins nobody seemed to be coming we looked for our seats and sat down in an area that had several people. We waited 20 mins and I realized nobody was tending to us so I got the waiter's attention. He was a young Latino boy looking like a high school student. He walked up and explained that we should have waited to be seated and that we were disrespectful for sitting ourselves. Mind you the sign that states this is on the inside wall and not in view when customers walk in so we missed it easily not intentionally. I proceed to explain this to him. If they had a problem with us sitting ourselves down. Why didn't any staff member approach us and explain this to us rather than childishly ignore us and not respond to any service. I am highly disappointed and would appreciate better training for the staff at the SeaTac IHOP across from Sleep Inn Hotel. Don't make assumptions about your customers state your displeasure upfront and move on with doing your job. read more

Quick grab and go breakfast near seatac airport. I'd say for the most part it is the usual IHOP standard. My complaint however is I ordered the smokehouse sausage breakfast and it was not smokehouse sausage it was hotdogs lol.. they were grilled but that is not what I ordered or usually how it's served. Otherwise the pancakes, eggs, and hash browns were the usually quality. My server Barb was friendly and accommodating. The establishment is clean. I witnessed them cleaning tables and disinfecting salt and pepper shakers after each guest. They are also complying with social distancing by having the plexiglass dividers. Updated - car likely to be damaged. My car was scrapped up. Upon entering another patron was telling the manager how the last time he dined here his truck was broken into. I asked the manager to run the outside cameras back so I could get the plate number and of course the cameras are just for show and do not work. I had to go in early to the plant I was working at and stepped out to eat. I was hungry! Ordered the chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. We have a delightful conversation with her. I arrived in Seattle around midnight and this was this first place that came up in Yelp as being open and close to my hotel. I stayed at the Hampton Inn and it really was pretty close to the hotel. I haven't eaten at a IHOP in so long, I really have forgotten the chain even exist. I live in Atlanta where there is a Waffle House on nearly every street and I couldn't tell you were to find an IHOP here if it my life depended on it. I ordered a burger and instead of having the pancakes that are obviously still offered with every meal, I went with hash browns. I wish I had gotten the pancakes. Arriving bright and early - around 5:30 a.m. Pacific time - I was seated quickly by Gabriela. I quickly ordered coffee. A fan favorite of french crepes, I order them when dining at IHOP. On this particular occasion, I ordered the Nutella crepes to accompany my pot of hot coffee. A bit overcooked, I didn't complain to Gabriela. I was in a rush to finish breakfast and was more interested in the coffee. I ended up taking a "to go" cup, finishing off the pot that was originally brought to my table. While trying to have a special breakfast date with my daughter, I planned on taking her to Little Pat's in Burien. However, while driving there, my husband, while on speakerphone with me, mentioned that we should "just go to IHOP". My daughter (who is 9), elated with the idea, due to her fondness of their "create-a-face pancake", and variety of syrups, quickly chimed in with agreement; and off we went, to this location. While we were quickly seated, our server was less-than friendly, and rushed off, cutting me off while I was asking about a kid's menu (something that should have been a given). Our places were set, table, and my utensils still wet. She (or possibly another) came back and asked if we had wanted a kid's menu, to which I said yes. She returned quickly with the menus, took our drink orders - coffee for me, iced tea for my daughter - both were promptly served. I had planned on getting the chicken fried steak meal, but at $15 per order, I opted for biscuits and gravy, with a side of rye toast. My daughter had **surprise, surprise** the create-a-face pancake and a side of bacon. And, shortly after, our food was served. While I must admit, my daughter was quite pleased with her pancake. That said, the highlight of my meal was the coffee, and my under-seasoned eggs (at least I could fix the eggs with salt and pepper, right?!). My biscuits were decent, but the gravy was horrendous (no sausage at all and tasted as if straight from a packet or can), and their was hardly any on it - not nearly enough to go with the biscuit. On it, was 4 horrible sausage links, with no snap (likely brown n' serve, or grossly undercooked), leaving me unable to eat them beyond one. The hashbrowns were undercooked, and a smaller portion, equating to the size, of that, of the palm of my hand...then there was the 'toast'. The 'toast' was, well, BREAD with melted butter...seriously, how does one manage to screw up toast, ff's?! ‍ Our billl was a little less than $30 ($27 + change). Almost $30 for food I literally had to force myself to eat, as to not disappoint my daughter. While checking out, the host asked if everything was "good". My response to which was, "'eh, not really, but - hey - it was food", while wearing a less-than amused face. His response? To laugh, offer no apologies, and CRUMPLE MY RECEIPT. The receipt containing the CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY NUMBER. Seriously?! What wonderful service...NOT! All in all, the two stars are for my daughter's meal, and my coffee, and promptness of service...Other than that, the overall experience was nothing more than a reminder to stick with places I know, such as Little Pat's, and a displeasing opportunity to explain poor service, and the reason we will not return, to my daughter. read more

Walking in this was a regular nothing impressive IHOP, however after seated our waiter got us going with coffee and water right away. He helped with explaining some of the meals I had questions about and was very attentive. The food was prepared fast and tasted great.
