I had a very bad experience at this ihop. I dined in and ordered pancakes to go for my daughter. I reached home and discovered a bug in the pancakes. What seems to look like a tick. I immediately went back to ihop and spoke with the manger who was very rude he first stated that it's nothing he could do about it once I walk out the door with the food then he insinuated that I may have placed the bug there myself. Further more he only offered me a four dollar refund. Terrible service and staff is very rude. We were seated near the hostess station and it took almost ten minutes for a server to show up. By the way, it's a Monday at 11:00 am and it's only about half full. So as we waited almost 30 minutes for a simple breakfast, we watched to other parties walk out because they had waited 10-15 minutes with no one coming to their table. The hostesses made fun of the potential customers as they walked out. Another group came in and waited at the hostess stand for a few minutes and walked out because no one helped them. This is not the type of place that I want in my town, nor the type of business that I will give my money to. The food itself is mediocre. We like IHOP in general. I really wanted to give this one more stars. But after a couple different meals here I have to accept that this particular IHOP is simple put, terrible. They are often out of basic items. We have never gotten our food in less than 40 minutes and it is cold and incorrectly prepared - even when the place is practically empty! Never in my life will I step into this location again! Poor management and to top that, lousy service, sweaty servers as always understaffed and too many mistakes on orders. I took my group of 12 people there (they travelled from overseas and I wanted to introduce them to pancakes) and it started terrible while waiting 30 min for our table with a lot of other people/groups although at least 5 tables were empty and ready! Once we got our table we spent another 2 hours until walking out the door, with issues such: asking 4 times for napkins until got up and picked up at front desk, 7 mistakes on 12 meals, waiting on missing items that never came, no refills on water and coffee.... we were so mad that for the first time in life we literally did not give any tip. Wow. IHOP has really changed since my last visit (not to this location, mind you) maybe a decade ago. I've always associated IHOP with greasy, overindulgent food--pretty much where you go to have a self-induced heart attack before noon. But I suppose times are a'changin', and IHOP, just like so many other restaurant establishments, has had to embrace the push for more diverse, healthy options. Don't get me wrong: there are still lots and lots of ways to get diabetes here, including not only the classic french toast and pancake options (each table has your choice of blueberry, strawberry, pecan, and regular syrup) but also an expanded array of drinks as well. One of my dining companions ordered a Watermelon Splasher drink, which included lemonade, chunks of watermelon, and a good dose of red colored syrup at its base. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see some low-calorie options (350-ish calories) and even a healthi(er) version of eggs benedict: Turkey Benedict, with fresh avocado, cheese sauce, and sliced tomato. No poached eggs, but you can order your eggs over easy, which is a close enough approximation. The wait for food, though, was terrible. 20 minutes for the two guys I was with, who ordered breakfast combos with double dipped french toast, pancakes, hashbrowns, eggs, and meat, and then an additional 10 minutes for my meal. Our server (John) was great throughout this all, and stopped by to refill our drinks, asking if we needed anything, and to update me on the whereabouts of my missing turkey bennie (apparently they had to make a fresh batch of cheese sauce--their approximation for hollandaise, I guess). When the turkey bennie finally came I was dismayed to find that not even a generous dash of Cholula, salt, and pepper could save it. Dry (yep, even with the tomato slice and runny egg) and flavorless. The cheese sauce may as well have not been on there. I mean, the portions are big, especially if you opt for a breakfast combo, and reasonably priced. But the wait was so off-putting, and don't even think about trying to come after 11am on a weekend morning, which is when we exited the restaurant--we had to wade through a crowd of folks hoping to get a table sometime soon. read more

The device is always terrible and no one is wearing gloves or masks the cook has to come out and ask us what we mean when we order a certain item I'm assuming they don't know the menu. This is what I would call a very average/slightly below average IHOP location. We were seated within 5 minutes, and our orders were taken quickly. I ordered the Colorado omelette and a hash brown. However, after ordering, the food took quite some time to come out and when it did, my hash brown took another ten minutes before I got it. When our food did arrive, we also noticed the lack of forks and napkins at our table. The food, overall, was very average. However, I did not like the hash brown at all. When we were finished with our food, it also took quite some time for our waitress to give us our receipt. Overall, food was average and service was subpar. After busting my butt at my own job all day, hungry from not eating for 12 hours we decided to eat before going home to pass out, was around 3am or so. Figured it would be a great breeze getting in and out without a hitch at that time of day, wrong. Wrong, wrong wrong. This SINGLE visit was enough to never go back. We walked in and even though we saw maybe 3 waitresses, a male manager I think, and a few other employees .... and plenty of time to sit us right away when we got in ... we were looked over and walked passed several times as the male manager stood at the register with a female employee flirting ... and just casually chatting with people who came for a pick up order. Manager made eye contact with us several times during this time, maybe two minutes has passed at this point and he tells us to sit down that he will sit us in a minute. After about 5 minutes we were sat at a table that was dirty, even tho there were ppl at maybe 3 other tables ... and plenty of staff wondering around ... a good ten tables were full of food, dishes and trash from past guests ... from a managers point of view, I would have never allowed tables to stay that dirty for such a long time. (and for the snowflakes, I've worked in food service before and yes I know how things can be and get, from a corporate and management point of view .. if I had been corporate making a secret visit, what we saw and went thru that night was enough to let everyone go then and there and start fresh) So, now we've been sat... it legit took him maybe 10 minutes to get back to us for our drink and food order. Another 15 to get drinks to the table, and an outstanding HOUR to get food, we had to seek silverware, condiments and refills. When we asked for ketchup, manager took about 10 minutes to bring us one and by that time we had already sought out some and had began eating our food before it got any colder, when he brings the ketchup to the table he says ... oh, you got some. My partner said .. yeah, it's been 15 minutes we went to another table and got some, also went to another table for silverware and napkins ... at which point he slams the ketchup down on our table and says .. well NOW you have two of them and proceeded to walk away.
