Absolute horror show! 5 in our party, ordered 5 combos- no problem right? Got our cups and hit the fountain. Coke was out( that happens) Coke Zero was missing a piece and sprayed all over my arm. Little did I know this would be the best part of the meal. After waiting for 15 minutes ( in a not too crowded restaurant) I inquired about our order. "We're working on it" Standing there waiting I watched people come in, order and receive their food. At the 30 minute mark we got our meals. Surprisingly most things were cold. Also missing an order of cheese bites. Went to rectify the situation and somehow a single order of fried cheese took another 10 minutes! My food had no residual heat by the time I got to it. I really don't expect a fine dining experience at a fast food restaurant but they need to do better. Most tables were dirty and in the 50+ minutes we were there no one came to wipe them down. So this is my second time here first time I think was in Savannah the girl was awesome the burger was awesome and I came here to the Pooler location and the idiot two girls and taking your order goofing around it says right there everything includes grilled onions and then she has a fu..... attitude saying that I should've specified oh well F...you. As someone who used to live in Cook Out territory but no longer does, I make it a priority to stop at one (or two) any time I am driving through the South. While driving down to Florida for our vacation, we stopped at this Cookout for a quick dinner. Our visit was on a Saturday in June around 9:30 PM. This Cook Out is located in an area with a ton of other restaurants, businesses, and storefronts. We have stopped in this area many times during our drives to and from Florida, but have never eaten at this Cook Out before this trip. The restaurant has a private parking lot, and is overall both updated and clean. The drive-thru is a little tight, so be mindful if you are looking to drive around it. After being in the car all day, I was hoping to eat a meal not in the car. So, I was happy to see that this location had an indoor dining room. The sign on the door said that they closed the dining room at 9:30 PM, which is right when we arrived. However, we were able to still eat inside with several other customers. Greatly appreciate being able to do that! The dining area is rather large, so no need to worry if there will be seats available for your visit. We put our order in at the counter for two Cook Out Trays - one being a Big Double Burger House Style with a Chicken Quesadilla and Cheese Bites, and the second being a Big Double Burger Cook Out Style with Cajun Chicken Wrap and a Beef Quesadilla, both with fountain drinks. There were other customers inside eating, so the food took a few minutes, but nothing out of the ordinary. The food was delicious, just as I always expect it to be from any Cook Out. After we ate, we ordered a Junior Tray with Small Burger (plain), Corn Dog, and Chicken Nuggets to share with our dog traveling with us. We also got two milkshakes for dessert - an Oreo Peanut Butter and a Peach Cobbler. Both were so good and hit the spot! I love that Cook Out shakes are thick - almost have to eat them with a spoon between that and all of the inclusions that go in! The staff was overall friendly and helpful. The girl who took my second order was helping me put in the order in a way that made most sense, which I greatly appreciated. She was pleasant to interact with and talk to. Greatly enjoyed both my meal and experience stopping at this Cook Out location. As a fan of the brand, I was satisfied with the experience being what I was expecting. I am sure I will be returning on a future trip down to Florida in the future. read more

We have always liked Cook Out! We love the hamburgers and shakes (for the price and convenience). Today we were traveling in the Pooler area and decided to get lunch. I ordered the BBQ with coleslaw and onion rings. Stupid me; I just assumed it was a BBQ hamburger but it actually BBQ chopped pork sandwich. I almost took it back but decided to keep it and try it. It was just ok. I really wish the menu would specify " BBQ sandwich" and not directly under the hamburger ordering section. Some places they do have BBQ hamburgers where they put the special BBQ sauce on it. I thought this was going to be that type of burger..... oh well... The coleslaw was really good and had great flavor! The onion rings were just ok. My wife ordered the corndog meal with onion rings. She said the corndogs were good and crunchy but didn't like the flavor. We also ordered two milkshakes; banana pudding milkshake and a banana blueberry milkshake. Both shakes were good as usual! The staff were friendly. We didn't have to wait very long on our order. Everything seemed cleaned and organized. We still recommend Cook Out! read more

Stopped in on our way back to Florida. My wife always talked about this place for any state north of Florida. Finally I got to try it. Stopped in a little after opening with the wife and kids. First off the store was very clean (as expected at opening). Secondly I was very surprised at the resonable prices. From what I can tell it's like a mix between a sit down restaurant and fast food. A perfect blend. I'd say the fries tasted fresh and house made! The burger I had was pretty good. It was a double patty but they kind of seemed on the smaller side. Yet the flavor was still there! Went a few days ago, been at least a year; I always end up going back because I do like their food. If only the management here could one day go to chick-fil-A and just watch for a little while, maybe take a few notes... The workers at this location, while maybe not trying to be rude, are very impolite. During my visit it was not busy, there were three other cars in the drive through, when I got to the window the girl stated my total plainly, and then talked with other workers, when I was handed my order I said "thank you," the girl ignored me. If someone with some sense could take this place over and straighten it out, it'd be a goldmine. read more

The drive thru is fast!!! Super fast and the employees are very efficient. Our food was hot and tasted amazing. This is my third visit and I think the best part will always be the shakes. Ok so I finally got fed up enough that I'm posting a review. Cookout has been an awesome restaurant in the past for me. I loved the one in Charleston, SC. However, this cookout has been horrible. I've had constant problems when I go to get milkshakes where they just hand me vanilla milkshakes instead of the milkshakes that I ordered. It has happened multiple times and even when you go in to get it fixed, they give you attitude and just make the same vanilla milkshakes until you demand a refund. In general I didn't have an issue with their food until lately. On June 19th, for example, I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with extra pickles, cajun fries, and the cheesy jalapeño fries. I got the order and the chicken sandwich didn't have extra pickles. The cheesy jalapeño fries had absolutely no jalapeño (they are partially devoured in the pic cause I was hangry). The cajun fries had no cajun seasoning. I also (if you look at the receipt) got charged for a water that I never asked for and never received. I'm posting this review because I'm tired of management ignoring these easy to fix issues. I'm probably not gonna be eating at this cookout from now on. read more

We're in Georgia for a few weeks and have been to this cook out location multiple times. The first time we ordered inside. The service was good, the lobby was mostly clean and the food was affordable and as good as I remembered from years ago. Every time since we've gone through the drive thru. This is where customer service goes to die. If you want to be greeted with impatience and attitude then this is the spot. And your order will be wrong in some way every time. The first time in the drive thru the person was actually really friendly and funny, but the drinks were completely wrong and the food was sad. My double cheeseburger had two pieces of meat so small that even side by side they didn't cover the bun and my fries were barely a single serving much less double. We hoped it was a fluke and came back a few days later. The person rushed us and was incredibly rude. We ordered two huge teas. At the window she gave us one huge and one large. I reminded her that we ordered two huge teas. After some back and forth about what we wanted versus what we got we drove away with a large and huge because she refused to correct it even if I paid the difference for the size I wanted. Today we gave it one last chance. Yet another incredibly rude and rushed person when ordering and they literally got everything wrong. Not a single thing was right. And we were treated like idiots for sending back the two teas so we could get them with no ice as ordered. We won't be back. Cook out used to be the best and most affordable burger place here but now it's just the place to go if you want to be treated badly and not get anything you want. read more

After having to explain my order twice because it was "lost" the first time I finally ordered a double chicken quesadilla tray with cheese bites and a chicken ranch wrap as well as a walking taco and a shake. Yes, the chances are high you'll stop in here whether I write a review or not, but it's my Yelp-ful duty to report my experiences. My favorite cook out item is a hot dog with slaw. That grill taste and fresh, light slaw just hits different. Sometimes I'll add some cheese. Their grilled sandwiches are delicious. My daughter is a big fan of their plain dogs, which is a Pavlovian response of hers after any extracurricular activity. You can never go wrong with their trays - who doesn't love their sweet tea. You can even grab something if you're watching what you're eating (protein and calories va sodium) - full nutritional info is online. The ordering was confusing, the cashier was probably the rudest person I've ever met, forgot sauce we asked for (honest mistake but at this point we already got treated like garbage), no cheese on my "cheese"burger, I ordered a 5 piece nugget and got 3 of them (?) and the burger was as dry as a hockey puck. Where do I begin? This was our first time being there. We ordered a Cheddar Burger with Bacon and grilled Onions, BLT with tea and a shake. My wife said the BLT was ok nothing visually stunning as you can see in the picture but it in fact tasted like a BLT LOL. My burger was not good at all though. The meat was dry and flavorless which is odd for the level of grease dripping off and soaking the bun. They have 5 very small onion rings As you can see in the pics. The cheese was what appeared to be the same cheese they use at the gas station for nachos and extremely salty. The chili tasted like you put a spoon of chili powder in your mouth with swig of water and greasy meat. Overall it was a disappointment and I do not recommend them.
