They had their grand opening this morning at 6am. Had a challenge the first 100 people at the door would receive a free short stack of pancakes a week for a year and I participated. Me and my boyfriend had a good time talking with others around us and maybe waited around 8 hours. After a long wait they finally open up the doors and me and my boyfriend are the second ones to get seated and are very excited. The tables around us got filled up pretty quick around us. Our server comes and greets us and takes our drinks and food at the same time bc we already knew what we wanted. A good 10-15 mins go by and a lot of tables around us have already got their drinks. After patiently waiting we finally revive our drinks. While waiting for our food we're looking around and we see tables constantly rolling their eyes and shaking their heads, Even some getting up and leaving. After maybe 5 mins going by my boyfriends food gets brought out and it's cold, not warm, it was colder than room temperature. He tells the manager very nicely and she apologizes and insists on getting him new food and that he can just keep the plate he has, since we've been waiting a long time to eat. I was expecting my food to come out right after his but he just about finished his plate before I even got my pancakes. As I'm waiting for my food we're looking around and people delivering food just keep getting tables wrong and their all running around crazy. They had SO many people working I think they actually were a little over staffed. I get my pancakes and the server asks if everything's good and we answer yes just waiting on his new hot plate. After she walks away about 2 bites in I relize I wanted extra syrup and I was going to bring my little sister home some pancakes. Can't even make this up 25 mins went by and I still have not seen our server again. The table next to us with the same server as us got up and left bc they wanted to order their food and the server was MIA. I was getting really upset at this point because I did want to go home and get some rest, I had to eat dry pancakes and still haven't put in a Togo order and would still have to wait on that. Almost 40 mins later our server returns and I politely ask for extra syrup ask for a box for my food,put in my Togo order and ask for the check. Once again it's taking forever and we were atleast wondering where our card we paid with went. A lady who isn't even our server brings it back to us along with my syrup. Our server returns seconds later with my box and does a walk by throw it on the table and it ended its way on the ground. I'm wasn't worried about getting a new one bc I didn't want to wait but she didn't even ask. The Togo order came out and me and my boyfriend were ready to go but of course it being the grand opening all the managers are running around asking for your feed back and when she asked us we told her the truth, how we were the 2nd ones here and waited a very long time to get everything and tables that were seated long after us got finished before us or just got up and left, my boyfriend never got his new hot food of plate, very poor service from server who only had 3 tables, never got refills or things we needed bc server was gone for almost an hour, and just a terrible experience overall. Her excuse was " well ya it's the first day so". That is no excuse for how bad it was. They had well over plenty of people and they have had days to prepare for this day. When a business is new and opens you thrive to be the best and the management could care less. They will not last long is they continue to be like this. I also will not be returning.
