It's a place to get a quick bite to eat while downtown before you go to a show or immediately after as long as it's before 3pm. I'm a creature of habit so I got one of the items I usually get, the rustica frittata. I enjoy it because it's full of vegetables and it's always cooked hot and fresh. My server, Yvonne, was really friendly and provided the things that I asked for in a timely manner. It was busy because it was around brunch time 1 PM and in the heart of all the events happening for the weekend. read more

Long wait for cold, dry food. 35 minutes into the wait, after other food was dropped was informed they were out of an item. Usually can count on First Watch, today was my First disappointment. read more

Tried something new today. The farmhouse breakfast hash with over easy eggs was the way to go! Good fluffy toast and eggs were cooked perfectly. Plenty of food, I was stuffed. We had an incredible experience we were visiting from Las Vegas. Yvonne was incredible as well as their manager Mike the service was 10. Stars felt extremely welcomed. Customer service is everything now for the food that was also fantastic. Everything hot and delicious. Must get the million dollar bacon he will not be sorry. We will definitely be back and visit our home store now that we've had such a great experience well done. read more

Gave this location multiple chances. It's genuinely the worst place to get food. won't be surprised when it shuts down. From inexperienced waiters to slow cooks, manager walks on .5x speed. Just garbage read more

Great restaurant but this location operates a bit backwards when ordering pickup. They let anyone and everyone just walk right in and take your food if you order online and won't offer any type of help once you get there and find out your order is gone, honestly makes no sense. No verification system at all. I'd add a picture of my food but I can't since someone else already took it read more

Consistent with the rest of the chain. You know what you're getting and they have GF toast.

Just for context, I live in the neighborhood... This place is not worth the effort. We put our names in for a table online before we even walked over. There is little to no organization on getting people seated timely or just simple updates on timing ( I get it things are not exact) but you expect simple communication. Once we were seated, we waited for 20 min (yes I verified) before being offered a water or even being asked if we would like anything to drink. Needless to say we didn't stick around any longer. Please don't waste your time with this place. read more

FirstWatch is known for its creative versions of breakfast/brunch items, like the French toast I ordered today - tres leches French toast with fresh strawberries on top sprinkled with graham cracker crumbs; as well as their healthy juice blends. Service at this branch was efficient to our party of eight. We were all very pleased with what we ordered. I really enjoyed the new Watermelon Wake-Up juice I got - watermelon, pineapple, lime and mint! Three of us ordered the same and all were pleased with how refreshing the juice combo is! I gave this branch 4 stars instead of 5 because the ladies bathroom was quite filthy. It wasn't just untidy, but the floor edges had caked-on dirt, obviously haphazardly mopped. read more

Frequent. Approximately once a month in various locations. This was Beechmont location. Server was cold-ish, and pushing for a decision just like the last time she helped us. Wife is visibly ill, though completely alert and functioning. Million dollar bacon reminded us of the old Frish's bacon...limp and off putting. Service was a 3 as I'm generous. Food quality was a 3 as well. Like it or not, people want a server that is kind, upbeat, and helpful. This one is not. read more

Ordered Trifecta breakfast at Beechmont Ave location. Bacon was under cooked so sent it back. They recooked Same bacon and was then almost burnt. Pancake which is usually very good was over done and dry. Not worth a$15 breakfast -with no drink Disappointing food but service was good. read more

If you're celiac/have a food allergy - DO NOT GO. I ordered the same thing I order every time and the waitress told me "there was a piece of bread placed on top of it, but we took it off - do you need us to remake it?" To which I said yes. (It's an autoimmune disease.) She then brought me a new dish where the potatoes were cold and the eggs weren't cooked at all. She didn't check on us the rest of the time. Not only did I still pay the full amount, but I didn't eat a thing. Do not recommend. read more

As a solo diner, I was offered a seat at the "community table", which is a neat concept I suppose. The biggest downside was the uncomfortable chairs. I started with the Morning Meditation juice from the Juice Bar, and added their antioxidant vitamin shot. The juice (orange, lemon, turmeric, ginger, beet, and agave) was wonderful. Unfortunately the vitamin shot made it too sweet. Next time I will skip that addition, because it was perfect before that. I had the Crab & Avocado Toast, which was delicious but definitely needed to be eaten with a fork and knife. Finally, the Million Dollar Bacon is absolutely worth the tiny upcharge from regular bacon. I ended up combining it with the crab avocado toast and it was so "fire", as the kids say these days:). read more

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast with family on a quiet Sunday morning. 7 of us ordered very different items but we got our meal quickly and the taste was great. We did have a few errors with our order but that, flavor and kindness of our server made up for errors. We enjoyed the seasonal menu prepared for fall. The traditional fall flavors of cinnamon, pumpkin and apple cider really added to our meal and the ambiance in general. All the his make this a place to come back to! read more

First time at this location so perhaps this is how it normally is. Sunny side eggs were brought out severely overcooked. YUM! I haven't been to First Watch in 10+ years because my first experience didn't blow me out of the water. However! I really enjoy First Watch now, and this location. Downtown Cincy on a Sunday morning was pretty empty despite being Fathers Day. We were one of three tables occupied so it seemed very personal at 8am. Street parking was ample and free until 2pm. Score! Chocolate Chip pancake was huge and delicious, so glad I only ordered one. My first cheesy grits experience was a great one. These are in fact cheesy and so good. A perfect meal of both salty and sweet. Hubs and I both had a very good breakfast for just under $20 and we were able to enjoy being downtown, so close to the great parks and murals. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to see this restaurant in the city as we have one at home. We were seated right away. Our server Nisha was on point. She has only worked here for two months, but you can not tell. We ordered the Bacon Cheddar Cornbread, Belgian Waffle and French Toast. They did not disappoint. The BCC is a summertime offering and definitely should be ordered. It is not dry and honey butter is served on top. Not a little, but a lot! The Belgian Waffle was ordered by my teen. It was gobbled up immediately. The French Toast came on two chibatta pieces of bread. It came out hot and was a perfect portion. All in all, this was a great positive experience and I highly recommend. There is not a negative thing to say. read more

The photos and reviews online definitely drew me to this spot for brunch! I have been exploring the city, and invited another out of town friend to enjoy a great breakfast meal with me. We joined the waitlist easily and didn't have to wait too long - but did get stuck in the doorway waiting. The host looked defeated and essentially just grabbed menus as it was out turn in line before I told him we actually had a reservation - so then he double checked Unfortunately, the experience was memorable, and not in the best way after being seated. It was quite a busy day and I am sure the restaurant is a bit understaffed like everywhere else. We were right behind the welcome podium, and thus a part of all the action. I asked for coffee and never received the creamer with it. Apparently creamer is meant to be on the tables and I had to steal it from the guests next to us after waiting so long my coffee was cold. We both ordered the green juice and different omelets. I had to say, the green juice was delicious and my favorite part of the whole experience. Neither of us were able to eat our omelets - we both picked at the cold, thick eggs. They were fairly tasteless and the texture was not welcoming. Mine was supposed to come with pico de gallo and I had to ask for that too. At one point our server was standing next to our table, yelling over our heads about an incoming party. I do have to note that the same server brought us entirely new juices when we asked for to-go cups - definitely a kind afterthought. The most confusing part was trying to pay. We were not notified to pay at the counter and sat waiting. Finally we noticed others doing so, but the incoming guests were mixing with the paying guests creating a confusing clump of patrons. read more

I love First Watch but this location is lacking. Upon arrival no one acknowledged us for almost 5 minutes and we were the only ones in line to be seated. She stated she was new and didn't know where to seat us. Okay but you know to say "good morning" or welcome right? I didn't say anything only smiled and moved on. Next my order came out wrong and I had to flag down an additional server to get it corrected. When the order finally came out the eggs were cold. Our server was very nice but the kitchen couldn't get it together. Multiple orders were made incorrectly around us. Best thing about breakfast besides the company was the comfortable atmosphere. read more

First Watch NEVER disappoints!! This was my first time at the downtown location and it hit the spot for my Sunday breakfast. I got there around 9am and was surprised that there wasn't much of a wait. We were seated and greeted by our waitress right away. The table was clean and the menus were paper/disposable. Every time I go to First Watch, I try to order something different. This time I indulged in the avocado toast. I substituted the poached eggs for scrambled eggs. The toast was delicious and had TONS of avocado on it. For the first time ever I couldn't eat it with my hands and had to cut it up. In addition to the avo toast, I couldn't not get the freshest glass of first watch orange juice. The table was cleared and the check was paid in under an hour! First Watch delivered a quick, clean, and delicious experience. read more

The employees in this place would drown a fish in water. They do not care in the slightest about the customer experience and there is no care taken in making the food. I ordered two pancakes, and the server brought the first one out and said "the second one will be out in a bit"??? Probably some of the dumbest servers I've ever met in my life. read more

The breakfast food we got was SO good. We went as a group of four. The bill was $99 for reference. Our waiter appeared a little strung out which I feel like was the reasoning behind his customer service but towards the end he was little more helpful. Be cautious here when splitting bills. I attended with four friends, and our waiter put us on one check without asking. We paid individually up front. However, the tip suggestions (18%, 20%, 22%) was based on the full bill rather than our individual bills, which I didn't realize until after my card was charged! Three of us made this mistake and resulted us in leaving a 90% tip. We asked for our bills to be voided and to repay with correct tip amounts. Our waiter was not apologetic about this and seemed annoyed. I'd ask that First Watch either fix their point of sale system so that it splits the tip suggestions individually or train their staff better to alert customers of this system quirk. I'm curious how many people have left an exorbitant tip on a split bill without realizing it. read more
