This restaurant had a very positive vibe with very well curated artwork! The staff were amazing. Very kind and friendly. There is lots of seating with large bay windows with plenty of natural light. My husband and I absolutely love the food here. I involuntarily did a little happy dance after taking my first bite of shrimp and grits. I almost made the mistake of not ordering a biscuit- OMG the flaky goodness was unbelievable. We ended up ordering another so my husband could have his own! Apparently there was a miscommunication about our order and we actually ended up getting another biscuit for free on accident which vanished as quickly as the first and second! I also ordered a crème brûlée grapefruit which was a very pleasant sweet treat at the end of my meal. They even had an actual grapefruit spoon!! My husband ordered the Hash bowl which he first complemented its presentation. He noted that they were not stingy with the bacon. What he didn't notice at first was that under his eggs there was a well seasoned layer of sausage gravy. He rated it 5/5. He would definitely order it again! Super cute/pretty place in OTR - 4 minute walk from Findlay Market. Came here with my mom - she wanted breakfast "anywhere that has eggs," so I picked this place. First of all, the service was awesome - everyone was not only sweet but also super accommodating & helpful, even though we came in maybe 20 mins before closing. Food came super quickly, too! I am a fan of the Nashville location so wanted to try this while in Cincinnati for the day. It was the opening day for baseball so by the time we got there the staff was tired! It showed in the service which was a bit grumpy. However understandable given the large numbers. We had the place mostly to ourselves and we did enjoy it, but I missed the southern charm and hospitality I have felt there in the other locations. It is a small spot but has plenty of windows and cheer. The water is self serve, and their counter is quickly when you enter. I missed the menu board as here they only have menu cards to peruse once you enter. So best to look at menu before arriving so as not to feel rushed. You immediately order at the counter and then pay, and get a card for a table. It is actually more like a fast casual set up which is fine and helps with the flow. I found though that when I wanted more lemonade (free refills) I wasn't sure of the protocol for getting more. (This is where grumpy servers were a bit off putting.) I eventually went to the bar to get my glass refilled. The salad was great and loved the tea. My companion loved her food as well. Great ambience and plenty of seating. However I'm not sure I would go back. If I can I'd go to Nashville and experience the full ambience and flavor as maybe this was an off day, but for someone just visiting once it did not impress as a spot to go back to. Today was my first visit to biscuit love in cincy. We arrived, ordered, and were met with huge disappointment. The place was half full, but the service was poor. I asked for hot sauce that never came. I also noticed another couple request and not receive. When food arrived the Bonuts arrived quickly and were room temp like they had been sitting out. Our food was also warm when it arrived . Nothing was hot (including the sides). Due to the virus going around, ingredients (produce) were missing from our ordered items (Denver omelette and breakfast burrito). I WISH I was told this when ordering because I would have ordered something else but I wasn't given that opportunity. The side potatoes were burnt yet they tasted as if they had been made yesterday. The sunshine latte was way too sweet. No taste of coffee at all. We had to go somewhere else for coffee after leaving. We spent $50 without being given the opportunity to change our order before receiving missing ingredients, lackluster service, and lukewarm food (which is SO concerning) given food safety. I'm horrified. We rarely eat out so to spend money at an establishment that doesn't cook to order (my opinion based on what was presented) or notify us of ingredient omissions prior to paying felt like a scam. I rarely write reviews but I felt this needed to be said to warn folks before paying premium prices for food you could make at home. read more

I know counter ordering is not everyone's favorite but I personally like how Biscuit Love OTR does theirs - you come in and order at the counter, get assigned a table, and then get table service to deliver food and drinks. Water is self-serve and I wish they had bigger cups but I get why they don't. Listen, water is gonna be a limited resource so don't waste it, y'all. The location is convenient with metered parking nearby and a large pay lot across the street. The dining room is light and airy with light wood and white and splashes of pastels. Their merch (near the front counter) is actually very cute and tempting while you're waiting to order. The southern benny is so good, I've gotten it twice. I can never even eat half but mash it all together and it's delicious later. My friend loved her SEC breakfast sandwich and my mocha latte was tasty and I always appreciate the foam art. The pricing reflects their service model; my benny would easily be over $20 at most brunch joints (it's $15 at BL). They have cocktails, but I haven't had one yet. Service is still great despite their limited offering. The counter clerk made sure to explain the process to everyone coming in (and signage directs as well). Biscuit Love. Loved my experience in Nashville, so I was excited to check out the new location in Cincy! The space itself is bright and cheery, and a quick walk from Findlay Market. Quick tip: you order first and will be seated by a host. We both got a chai latte and thought it was ok... definitely too sweet for my taste. They brought out the B-Roll almost as soon as we sat down. I thought it was great. Think a cinnamon roll made with biscuit dough topped with caramel and a side of cream cheese icing. Loved it. However, the main dishes were disappointing. His SEC sandwich was barely lukewarm. You can see in the picture a slice of cheese was slapped onto the sandwich and didn't melt at all. I got the Southern Benny, and the gravy was lukewarm, almost cold, the biscuit was lukewarm... the only thing in either dish that was remotely warm were the eggs on the Benny. I also got the salad which was good, but very small. All in all I chalk the food temp issues up to inexperience... they'd only been open a couple of weeks when we visited. I feel it's a correct problem. The prices are a bit high, especially for a subpar food experience which could ultimately keep us from visiting more frequently. We plan on revisiting in a few weeks to see if the food temp issues have been resolved. read more

This place is a huge hit in TN, and recently opened in Cincinnati. Its fast casual so you order before sitting down. It was strange that the service was rather slow on Saturday and we were waiting in line despite empty tables. The place has very cute bright and clean decor definitely a great place to catch up with family or friends. We got the most popular items the princess and east nasty. The biscuits here are special. Went to biscuit love for brunch on a Monday (President's Day) and we weren't sure if it would be packed or not- luckily for us there was not too many people! The inside is very cute, I love the items they have for sale near the cash register area. We got the bonuts to share, the princess sandwich, the egg plate, 2 bloody Mary's, and 1 drip coffee. There were no complaints or criticisms about anything- it was all truly great! The biscuits are SERIOUSLY awesome, so crispy and buttery and flaky. But as other reviews have mentioned, it's off/different and the kinks are still being worked out. The food was good but not the high quality I remember. The process of ordering as soon as you walk in does feel rushed, especially since you have to grab a menu because there isn't a big board to reference. Plus after we ordered, we were told to go to a table number that already had people sitting there so that was a whole thing to get sorted out. We also had to get our own silverware and weren't given individual plates when the bonuts came out. It was cozy inside on a cold day and I appreciated the Christmas music playing. I'll likely give them another chance down the line in hopes that they'll have improved some things. read more

I was stoked to see that a Biscuit Love had opened in Cincy! It's a downtown location, so parking can be tough to figure out. There's street parking and paid lots. When we arrived, we were scolded by the man at the register for looking at the menu in the wrong location-he wanted us to be IN the line to do that instead of off to the side to be out of the way. Every time I have been to Nashville I wanted to try this place, but there was always a line outside of the building. So, when I heard one was coming to Cincinnati, I was stoked, and when we drove by the other day and there was no line, we had to stop in. The atmosphere, clean, and bright. You order your food at a counter and take a seat with a number, your food will then be brought out to you. We got a couple biscuits. I got the princess. Nashville style chicken on a biscuit with an egg, honey and pickles. My chicken was dry and the biscuit was mediocre at best. I don't know what I was expecting but what I got did not meet my expectations. I also ordered a side of grits that I never got. I completely forgot about them until my wife said something after we left. My wife got the sausage egg and cheese. It looked good. It was messy and what you expect with a big breakfast sandwich. She liked hers. I will go back here though. I am a sucker for some good breakfast and I love a good biscuit. I'll give this place another try. This place was a hit! We came on a week day around 10:30 and didn't have to wait to order. The food came out quickly and hot. The omelet was amazing- I highly recommend. They ran out of bacon- and said it wouldn't be ready for 15 min and my husband said he'd just wait for it. To our surprise - they brought us a full order of the bonuts on the house for waiting. Tried this spot today. Luckily they could accommodate our party of nine on a crowded day. Two in our group had the Lindstrom and it was declared tasty. Another person had the strawberry granola which looked good. (He did say next time though he'd get a waffle.). The person across the table from him had the chicken and waffles. Said the waffle was better than a not-to be named local restaurant. There weee two more 'waffle eaters' down the table. I had the veggie grits -good.
