I know counter ordering is not everyone's favorite but I personally like how Biscuit Love OTR does theirs - you come in and order at the counter, get assigned a table, and then get table service to deliver food and drinks. Water is self-serve and I wish they had bigger cups but I get why they don't. Listen, water is gonna be a limited resource so don't waste it, y'all. The location is convenient with metered parking nearby and a large pay lot across the street. The dining room is light and airy with light wood and white and splashes of pastels. Their merch (near the front counter) is actually very cute and tempting while you're waiting to order. The southern benny is so good, I've gotten it twice. I can never even eat half but mash it all together and it's delicious later. My friend loved her SEC breakfast sandwich and my mocha latte was tasty and I always appreciate the foam art. The pricing reflects their service model; my benny would easily be over $20 at most brunch joints (it's $15 at BL). They have cocktails, but I haven't had one yet. Service is still great despite their limited offering. The counter clerk made sure to explain the process to everyone coming in (and signage directs as well). The food runners are efficient and friendly and helpful.

Cute little spot across from a beautiful park. I just stopped in for a coffee. I was greeted right away by a friendly worker. I ordered a vanilla iced coffee with cream. I then was directed to wait over by the bar area for my drink. Everyone's food looked very good when I passed by. My coffee was a 10/10 and presented by a lovely young lady. I'd love to come back when I have more time and try the food.

we were downtown for a wedding the night before and found to is gem that we walked to. Food was fantastic ... let's start there. we both enjoyed the hungry hash bowl and the portion was just right and the potatoes were just the right amount of crunch, topped with a savory gravy that could be tasted but did not overpower the eggs fired to perfection. i topped mine off with a cappuccino from the full coffee bar. everyone working here was so friendly too. and did i mention how clean it was?!? we will definitely make the 30 min drive from our home to revisit.

Biscuit Love was so cute and yummy. The biscuit was really flaky and like a peel apart roll which was interesting but really tasty! The potatoes were fantastic. Everyone who helped us was very nice. Ambiance is bright and cute decor!

We came here on a random Wednesday morning. There were a few tables taken, but plenty of open seats. You order at the front before grabbing a table, but the server brings everything out to you. Food and drinks came out fast. The food was hot and tasty, we'll definitely be back to try more items.

Denver omelette and side potatoes

Today was my first visit to biscuit love in cincy. We arrived, ordered, and were met with huge disappointment. The place was half full, but the service was poor. I asked for hot sauce that never came. I also noticed another couple request and not receive. When food arrived the Bonuts arrived quickly and were room temp like they had been sitting out. Our food was also warm when it arrived . Nothing was hot (including the sides). Due to the virus going around, ingredients (produce) were missing from our ordered items (Denver omelette and breakfast burrito). I WISH I was told this when ordering because I would have ordered something else but I wasn't given that opportunity. The side potatoes were burnt yet they tasted as if they had been made yesterday. The sunshine latte was way too sweet. No taste of coffee at all. We had to go somewhere else for coffee after leaving. We spent $50 without being given the opportunity to change our order before receiving missing ingredients, lackluster service, and lukewarm food (which is SO concerning) given food safety. I'm horrified. We rarely eat out so to spend money at an establishment that doesn't cook to order (my opinion based on what was presented) or notify us of ingredient omissions prior to paying felt like a scam. I rarely write reviews but I felt this needed to be said to warn folks before paying premium prices for food you could make at home.

The food and service with both great! Love the look of the inside and the sunshine latte was incredible

Great service , fantastic biscuits. Everything from savory to sweet this place has biscuits that are so delicious and various topper items . The staff is helpful with great customer service and it is cute and very clean .they also sell merchandise from the store as well. Try a biscuit for breakfast lunch or anytime of day . You won't regret it .

Finally made it in to try their famous biscuits and gravy. A bright and clean environment with friendly staff. The potatoes in the hash were a bit undercooked and the food could be warmer to be more enjoyable. Overall it was good experience.

Stopped by on a Sunday around 1 for brunch and lucky for us, no wait! We ordered at the counter then headed to our seats. Decided to skip the alcohol for brunch, and was pleasantly surprised when they had the good apple juice (IYKYk). Everything had a good flavor, but unfortunately the food was room temp-not hot at all. It wasn't just with one dish-but all of the food. I'd would go back to try again with hopes that the food would be warm next time!

Perfect for open seating and a lot of natural sun light. The process was quick and simple for ordering immediately prior to being seated. The food was decent but seeking out other places might be a better option. The food was average nothing rememberable.

Damn. I want so so bad to leave more stars. It's just always off in every category. From the order counter to the food. I just want to love these shrimp & grits. How is the shrimp cold? Biscuit is so underwhelming. Lacks any kind of service at all - so for the obligatory 15% you order at a counter and your food gets dropped. That's it. Last visit for sure!

We got there just when they opened, at 2pm on a Sunday so naturally they weren't busy which was fine with us! We were greeted at the sidewalk by an employee on a stool who told us the adjoining foodtruck wasn't open but we could door dash from somewhere else if we'd like. This place is so cool! There are so many little divided up areas with eclectic seating, both inside and out. The courtyard is especially nice. When we ordered cocktails, I was deciding between two and the bartender said the one is her favorite so I went with that and she was right, it was very well balanced and really tasty: The Maria Sabina with fig-date tequila, rosemary honey, cinnamon balsamic, and lemon. Honestly all the cocktails sounded really good so we have an excuse to go back and try more!

The ube margarita tasted like a jolly rancher, it was so good. Prices were also very fair.

I asked for their signature Bang Bang Barrel but was informed that I could only order from the sponsored menu, I was prepared to buy mugs, merchandise and several drinks but after that we were a bit put off. Within the first 15 minutes the bartender also set off the fire alarms with a flaming drink so we had to wait outside for a bit until the fire department shut off the smoke alarms. I've been to several Tiki Bars in California and other locations, this one is pretty low on the Tiki Pole for me unfortunately. If it wasn't so far of a drive I would give them another chance but at this point I would rather just go to Nashville or Indianapolis for my Tiki Fix.

I came out in December for their Miracle pop-up in 2025…read more As someone who has gone to a ton of holiday cocktail bars and pop-ups over the last 10 years, Overlook Lodge's is probably the best I've ever been to. Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)
