We came here for a celebration for my daughter. I know, but it's where she wanted to go. My daughter was late getting to her own celebration and that's where the 5 stars started. Moe was our server and he was excellent. We were there for quite a while waiting to order but that didn't phase Moe. He was quick to fill drinks replace coffee etc. Moe was not only great at his job, he was also funny, considerate, and personable. When my daughter and her crew showed up Moe was right there taking drink orders and then ultimately food orders. The food was good. The kitchen messed up my daughters eggs and the turkey on my wrap tasted old. We didnt even tell Moe because he was that good. IHOP give Moe a raise! He is worth it! read more

Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy, said they would seat us within 20 minutes and they sure did. My mother ordered the sampler and I got the country omelette. Both were big servings, that we had to take half of our meal back with us. We should have ordered one thing and shared but who knew it would be that big of a serving. Service was average, place was just so busy that everyone was running around making sure that everyone had what they needed to have. Next time we will try the lunch and dinner menu. read more

I love love love IHOP. They are really good at what they do, which is serving simple food fast. The Old Fort IHOP is often very crowded for brunch on weekends, but my boyfriend and I will often come down and make the wait. Generally the line for a table moves quickly and once you're in service is fast and efficient. The menu does have healthy options, but who eats healthy food at an IHOP. I'm there for the eggs, bacon, hash browns and of course, the pancakes. Their pancakes are great. My boyfriend likes to get fancy and order an omelet or crepes, but I just want pancakes. The buttermilk pancakes are my favorite, but I have tried most of the pancake options. I actually prefer IHOP to Pancake Pantry in Nashville and I get in and out much faster than I do at Pancake Pantry. read more

I'm sorry to say that the service, food, and all-around awesomeness of this IHOP has declined severely. Seven months ago I wrote a four star review for this specific IHOP. The service was amazing, with friendly and funny waiters and waitresses. The food was fantastic. It had flavor, it was cooked correctly and it satisfied our hunger. Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing for its current state. Not only did it take two hours to get our food but the food was incorrect and our whole party ended up puking it up by the time we got home. On top of that, the waitress mixed our bill with another tables bill,making our bill twice the cost that it should have been. Luckily we caught that before paying. I'm sorry to say that I will not be coming back to this IHOP. After this experience I may avoid IHOP's altogether. My daughter and I visited the IHOP on Monday and everything was great, I'll explain the 4 stars in a few. There was no wait, believe it or not, we were immediately seated, the hostess was very kind, smiled and all. Our server was Jessica and she was SO AMAZING!!!!! She greeted us with a smile and eye contact, those things seem to be lost these days. She, promptly, took our beverage order and returned a short while later to take our food order. Jessica was all around fantastic, so if you go to IHOP and want the best, ask for Jessica or just tell her hi. Now, the 4 stars is for the burnt waffle, the rest of the food was great and being the waffle was a to go order, it wasn't noticed until it reached its owner. Food was about what you should expect from IHOP. The waitress was nice but there was one waiter with a ponytail that was going on about how the earth is flat, we've never been to the moon, compasses lie (to hard to try and explain his stupidity), the moon isn't real. The utter bullshit that was spewing from his mouth left a bad taste in mine causing me to have to leave. So if you get some young blonde dude with a ponytail as a waiter, just know he's an idiot and a prime example of what's wrong with the world. read more

IHOP has more options on good breakfast items than any place that serves breakfast in Murfreesboro. The menu is so full and the pictures of everything is awesome and makes it hard to choose what to get. We love going here and the service is great. read more

Tried to us web ordering, site down, then tried to call, took 5 calls before someone picked up. We live 20 minutes away, still had to wait only to receive the wrong order. Asked hostess about it and was given an attitude and then given wrong order again. read more

The restaurant was not clean and the service was not friendly. I had received an offer for students to get 50 cent pancakes and this was quote "the only location" that didn't accept the offer. They put little to no effort into trying to find a solution. read more

I'm beginning to think it's impossible to get a decent breakfast in Murfreesboro. This place used to be where my sister and I went to catch up over breakfast. Not anymore. I ordered the breakfast sampler. Overpriced, bland, undercooked food. Apathetic service. Very small portions. I pushed away my plate with at least half of each item uneaten, and the server's only question was "do you want me to take this away?". I never did get my water, by the way. When I paid, the cashier asked if everything was okay, too which I replied "No. Absolutely not." The cashier's reply? "Okay." There was a survey on the receipt with a reward of a discount on my next visit. I left the receipt behind. There won't be a next visit. I wish I could leave zero stars. read more

I brought my mother and eight year old daughter along with her friend to this local IHOP for supper tonight. Flavia immediately greeted us when we were at the hostess table and welcomed us to her table. She was fabulous...giving us advice on what to order to save us money with the kids' meals and even offered to bring the girls water first so they wouldn't fill up on their milk before their pancakes came out! She was kind and helpful and very friendly. I will definitely come back to this restaurant because of the outstanding service Flavia displayed above and beyond what was expected. I'll just say if there was another ihop near I'd take my business elsewhere. I went with a friend of mine and the waitress we got was the nicest we've ever had. there was a group of boys being crazy loud two booths over from us and I was having to yell to talk to my friend. To top it all off, a girl over there actually works for ihop and the manager just said quieten down. they obviously didn't listen and nothing more was done about it. As someone who works in customer service, I was completely shocked they let this behavior go on so long, especially with an employee contributing to the disturbance. if this happened where I worked that girl would've been fired on the spot. not to mention running around in the parking lot yelling curse words. I hope something is done about it but I'll more than likely never be back because of that employee, her friends, and the manager that couldn't step up for the other customers.. read more

Five of us ate at IHOP in Murfreesboro.. We waited 40-45 mins. for our meals. Our server (Joe) was excellent and apologized for the long wait. Finally, our long awaited food came. My son's chicken fried steak must have been microwaved more than once because it was almost petrified. My grandson ate some of his omelet and then started on his blueberry pancakes when he found a hair under the pancakes!!! We caught Joe's attention and showed him the plate and asked to talk to a manager. She offered to comp my son's chicken fried steak and offered to bring my grandson more pancakes. Maybe I've seen too many Kitchen Nightmare episodes but I began to question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the cook's personal hygiene habits. Needless to say, I lost my appetite and my pancakes were also taken off the bill. The manager walked away to bring us m a revised bill while my grandson sipped the last of his drink and found a piece of paper with writing inside his glass!! That was the last straw. I will never return to this restaurant. The next day I called to let the owner know of our experience and spoke to the day manager who took my call in the owner's absence.. What was disconcerting was the blase attitude by both managers. It made me wonder if their indifference meant this is commonplace at this restaurant.
