We are Wednesday regulars at IHOP and always enjoy coming in for breakfast. The staff is wonderful, and Marcos is a standout employee. Whether Marcos is our server or not, he always greets us with a smile and a cheerful good morning. He has a great sense of humor and makes everyone feel welcome. This morning he joked that we were his good luck charm because every time we come in, the restaurant gets busy. Sure enough, about 15 minutes later a large group arrived and filled up the restaurant! Marcos came over laughing and said, "See, I told you!" It gave us all a good laugh and started our day on a positive note. We also appreciate the IHOP value meals. Always appears close but it's Open based on the cars in the parking lot. Visited midweek. It was semi full which was a treat for us in order to relax, take our time and converse over the never ending good cup of hot joe! Menu and table advertisements offer plenty of and at times fun food options! Staff frequently checked on us. I always grab a Tooty Fruity but this time I enjoyed the Poblano Omelette and hubby grabbed the Chicken Fried steak. Both were very delicious from beginning to end. This is about the food only. Poached eggs had hard yolks. Never have been served overcooked poached eggs in my entire life at a restaurant. Hash browns were burned. I like them crispy but these looked black and had a burnt aftertaste. Sourdough bread was dry. The only moisture left in the bread was from the butter they toasted it with. Side of country gravy was watery and the portion was about enough to fill two shot glasses. Sausage was so small it could hide underneath the poached egg cup. Pancakes were doughy /chewy in the center. I only liked the bacon because it was soft the way I prefer but no one else I know likes bacon that way, most people want it more crispy. Pretty much everything was wrong and the price was not much better than local diners that have way better breakfast options. This was Sunday morning at 730 before the rush. read more

I've eaten food here plenty of times, and I'm finally deciding to leave a review lol. It's a good establishment with some good food. The portion size, to me, is fair, considering my family ordered to go so we can eat at home. I can typically eat a lot, but it was just enough. I got the classic French toast and it was good. The French toast was thick. I don't think I've ever had a French toast as thick as this one lol. But it was just like any other normal French toast I've had. Got it with scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash browns. Simple combo, simply tasty. They were pretty fast with making the food and having it ready within minutes after placing the order. I think from the time it took for my mom to place the order and then going to pick it up, it was maybe 5-10min? Very fast. I'd say it's still a good place for breakfast/brunch. read more

Overall, this is an ihop so very basic summary as it is like any other chain a lot is very much the same. I do give this location a solid 3+ , the service was great at entrance and have to say this place is cleaner both on inside and out than most locations. Parking is okay , but expect morning crowd it might be rough. Pancakes were as expected and I got the strawberry / banana ones. Now this is what keeps from a four rating. The picture on menu showed fresh strawberries , what I got looked more like raspberries in size , maybe frozen or from a can. As promised the banana was fresh but portions small, maybe not ihop fault as everything is more expensive but overall for 14 bucks I should have chosen something else. Table service was friendly , did have to ask for drink refill but that is okay. So overall looking for an ihop would recommend this place , just be careful what you order from the menu looks and tastes as advertised. read more

I'm noticing other reviewers didnt complain about the pancakes so they might have just added a bit too much salt that one time so it's def an easy fix. I don't want to subtract points for cooking my steak and my uncle's steak well done when we both asked for medium but because likeley we couldve asked to cook another but we didnt want to waste food. Upon insisting for new one they first ignored it and when reminded them brought a fresh carafe. But still very dilute and Omelette costs 18.75 but was tasteless. Pancakes. We're really soft. Hash brown was soggy. Serving staff and manager were not customer friendly They would not honor birthday free pancakes. They also did not honor pancakes for joining/online. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorable with added butter and syrup simply delicious. Cold food and left wanting more! Hello yelpers! My husband and I just ate at this ihop. We waited 10 minutes to get seated and no one greeted us until we were taken to the table. We ordered the Cowboy BBQ burger and it was delicious, however they are very light handed with the fries and the food was cold. We were both starving otherwise I would have sent it back. Also the service was so so. No check in during the meal for drinks or checking to see if the food we ordered was correct. I love iHop but only 2 stars for the experience today. I ordered a crispy chicken salad. The leaves were literally all leafy greens , very thin no crisp to the taste. I thought it looked strange. I mixed the salad dressing that was topped on the salad. From the first to the 4th bite I felt something did not taste right. There was no refreshing crisp to the bite at all. It wasn't lettuce topically used for salad but more for sandwiches. When I address it to the server, and asked if I can change this he/said said no you already mixed it. I said what. I did ask another worker if I could switch and she said yes. But oh no when I asked my he/she server, she said no. When I told her the other lady said it was okay. (This what oussed me off more than anything) when I told my server what the other server said, he/she was like "well this is not her table, this is my table" I was like " well there's no way I'm eating thins". It was literally turtle food. So if you ever go to the one on calaveras I suggest not to be served by the server that's a man but dresses and tries to look like a female. Service was very good here, from the jump they were straightforward about how long the wait would be to have a server even take out order since they were having a staffing issue. Once we did have our server everything went fast from there it wasn't busy but I will say the kitchen took a little while to make our food anyways and it felt already cooled by the time we got it. Burger itself was great though definitely try it out before the Wonka menu is gone! I actually am tempted to go back to have it again it was so good. This review is for takeout during COVID and their IHoppy hour specials. We couldn't find the tab to order the hoppy hour specials online for this location although other locations had it available online to order. So we stopped by to see if they were offering the deal and yay they are! The lady working said it will be over next week though and they're switching to a new deal. Service was fast and friendly. Our food was ready within 10 minutes and the cashier gave everything we needed including all the condiments in a separate bag and she said to check and see if we needed/wanted anything else. We forgot to ask for the boysenberry syrup, since she already gave us 5 prepackaged regular maple syrup. For $6, the Hoppy hour deals are great! We got a ham and cheese omelette that comes with 3 pancakes and the pancakes and chicken. The omelette was huge and had a lot of ham both on top and inside! Definitely worth $6 especially since it comes with pancakes. Their chicken tenders are also really tasty and have a good seasoning in their batter. Also served with sauce, we chose ranch.
