Very eerie. We had tried another restaurant, but there was too long of a wait. We saw people waiting outside of other restaurants. We thought we would try IHOP. My husband and I walked in, and it felt like we entered the Twilight Zone. The place was empty except for customers sitting at 2 tables. I should have read all the other reviews before visiting this restaurant. Service was very slow and we waited for a very long time before receiving our food. The restaurant was empty with people at only two other tables so there was really no reason the kitchen was so slow. I ordered the Chicken & Waffles. It came with 4 chicken strips, but the strips I received were sorry-looking. Thin and small. I showed the manager and she brought me a big plate of them. Customer service could be better at this location and being that the restaurant was just about empty, there was no reason why they were so slow with service and the food coming out of the kitchen. read more

We were seated and if it wasn't for my husband flagging down someone, it would have been longer than the 45 minutes we had already waited just to get something to drink. The drinks took about another 10 minutes to come, we had to ask for silverware and the waitress took our order. We waited again for another 20 minutes and I got up to speak with a manager. After asking 3 different people, a manager finally came out and said he would get our food. When the food finally came out, after about another 10 minutes, my daughter ordered chicken tenders and when she cut it open, it was NOT FULLY COOKED! Now I was mad. I went back up to speak with the manager, someone else came out and asked if we wanted them to cook it more?!?! Seriously. We were pleased to see IHOP open since Golden Corral was closed and we were wanting something sweet. Our waiter, Aaron, was kind enough to let me order off of the kid's menu and I was excited to try the chocolate chip pancake (Funny Face Jr face optional, but I went for it!). It was huge! I don't know if Aaron asked for a larger order than normal? The semi-sweet chips were abundant, the pancake was stuffed with the chips. Such a satisfying experience! BP ordered Swedish crepes with lingonberries. They were sweet and also tart. The crepes were soft and had a melt-in-your-mouth quality. We saw people complaining that they needed refills on drinks, syrup, checks and service. There were 4 girls standing at the hostess station but no service for the customers already seated. My experience here was good. I am not from the area and I did hear the service is usually slow but we came to have breakfast the day after Christmas and it wasn't so bad. We did have to wait because it seemed like they were short staffed even though there were plenty of tables available, but once we ordered our food we got it pretty quickly. The food was fresh but there were ingredients missing. Our waitress was pleasant. I just wouldn't recommend this location if you're in a time crunch and have things to do. read more

We got our ordees taken and waited 2 hours just to be told they ran out of food. Do not recommend.

4 ladies standing at the podium quoting everyone 10-15 minutes for over 30 minutes and watching 2 employees in the kitchen doorway not doing anything while then everyone was being told after a lengthy wait that it's due to the kitchen being back up. I don't mind waiting if I so choose, but watching a total of 6 employees not pitch in to help while standing around and quoting incorrect times is frustrating. read more

This IHOP has, by far, the LONGEST wait time! Most of their food is bland too. Especially their scrambled eggs. I Don't hate this IHOP though. A few of their things that I do like, are their plain pancakes, their hash browns, and their fried eggs. 2 STRIKES AND THEY'RE OUT!.. I went there a while back and the seats were ripped and worn out so it took me a while to get back to them. Today I decide to go because I wanted turkey sausage and a lot of places only serve pork at breakfast near me. This is a bustling IHOP in the midst of the Route 30 shopping district. If you know that you are going to visit during the lunch or dinner hours, then be sure you are ready to wait - as the crowds can be pretty significant. While the decor of most IHOP restaurants are pretty 1980s gaudy, at least this location is bright and clean restaurant throughout. That's saying a lot, because the typical insides of IHOP lean toward the darker (aka 'cozy'?) side. My food has been delicious & done right each time I've been here, and the staff have always been welcoming and prompt. Those are about the best compliments that you can give to the typical IHOP, because after that - well, you probably don't want to come here if you are worried about calories (if you aren't already familiar with IHOP nutrition charts). Bad Hair Day? Ordered the Double BLT and after my second bite, noted a piece of hair on my bacon. Informed the manager and he apologized and took it back to the kitchen and informed me that he will have a new sandwich made for me. While waiting for my food, I unwrapped my silverware and found another piece of hair on my fork. Informed the manager again and he took the fork and apologized once more (he seemed disappointed at this point). Had to use the restroom and soon as I walked in, stepped in urine. The floor was covered in it and there were little flies in the stalls. My wife had to use the restroom and when she walked in she almost slipped and fell due to the floor just being mopped and let me know that there was no wet floor sign either. Would not recommend this IHOP. The host was a love. Waited for a table and I wish we had left and headed to Cracker Barrel instead. The place was not clean and smelled musty. The wait for the food took awhile and when it came out it was warm not hot. The pancakes were not as I remembered IHOP breakfast to be but a rubbery something. It seemed to have been sitting in the kitchen for awhile. My wife's soup was ice cold! The server (who was a sweetheart) apologized and took it to the kitchen to heat up and came back with it piping hot fresh from the microwave. The rubbery clams proved it. this is the third time in a row where the service + food have been very disappointing. it took the waitress about ten minutes to get our order, and another twenty minutes until the DRINKS come out, not the food. i ordered a typical egg/hash browns/bacon type of deal with strawberry crepes: the hash browns were still raw potato strands, the egg wasn't cooked the entire way through, the bacon was burnt, + the crepes had the grossest glazed "strawberries". to end the service, the waitress gave my boyfriend and i the wrong check (we got ours after we approached her). last night our waitress was with another waitress, but it seemed like the other waitress actually was going to tables and such, and bringing food out, while our waitress sat down and talked to coworkers. every other time i've been here, i've only seen one waitress working. definitely not returning to this ihop. read more
