These are my wife's cinnamon apple gluten free pancakes

The food was great! We ordered breakfast for lunch. I ordered French toast and my wife ordered the gluten free pancakes and as you can see from the photos they look really good. Our server Mackenzie was very pleasant and attentive as was the hostess. The ambiance was very nice. They had photos of service people they Knew and didn't know. Next time we are in the area we'll stop for an actual lunch or maybe dinner.

What a cute little diner vibe! The serious was fast, menu was huge and food was even better!

Found this spot by accident on a road trip. Great pancakes and service! Small place but well worth a visit

Never been here before for the 5 years I have been a resident of the Ephrata area. The place is small looking on the outside but very spacious and bright on the inside. Waitresses tonight were friendly and specifically our waitress, I forgot her name unfortunately, was so kind and attentive. The noise here wasn't loud although it wasn't fully packed. Family friendly place. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the place (floors, seats and tables) because I've been to many diner style places and it's NOT clean! But here, it is. As for the food, 9/10 delicious. Satisfied our hunger pains and we left happy. Not a complaint. I gave 4/5 stars only because I have never tried their breakfast menu items which is what I believe is where their star dishes are. I would love to come back during breakfast or lunch hours to try that. I highly recommend trying this place if you are in the area. It's right across from Wawa!

My spouse was looking for something called Dutch eggs, so I went on a hunt on Google and found them on the menu here. This is not a large restaurant and it was pretty busy, even on a weekday, so we were lucky to get a spot. It's cute inside and out and the service was very good. Dutch fries is basically eggs scrambled together with fried potatoes. It wasn't quite up to par with her mother's, but definitely hit the spot. I had the eggs benedict, which was Very good. The hollandaise especially had a really nice flavor. I'd definitely like to have it again, but the menu is so huge I might be tempted to try something else next time we're in the area.

Pan seared sticky bun! The white cream was too sweet but the crispy bun was 10 out of 10!

Friendly staff. Ambiance is diner style. The space is on the smaller side. Food incredible! Me and my family will definitely return.

Delicious- outstanding- so happy to find the closest thing to a NY/NJ diner... breakfast all day! I'm in HEAVEN- really great and expansive menu. Service is great - prices are very reasonable- can't wait to go back and also try the new location in Lititz

Strawberry n banana crepe plus loaded home fries

We visited on a busy weekday morning between Christmas and New Years. Service was friendly and quick. I tried the strawberry and banana crepe and my husband had the loaded home fries (I think he routinely gets it.) Although the crepe was good (it wasn't my favorite crepe ever since I think the strawberries were prob from a can) there are so many other menu options to choose from - I will prob get something different next time. The pancake farm menu has so many choices - like eggs Benedict, baked oatmeal, stuffed French toast - for a breakfast lover like me. This is a nice local choice for a meal!

I had the western omelette, and my husband had sausage gravy, with biscuits, eggs potatoes, and cheese.

Our food was very good and everyone was super nice. Our waitress was great! The place actually looks bigger on the inside, than the outside.

Decor honors men and women of military service.

I will say if you're in a rush to grab a cup of coffee and go, this probably isn't the place to go to. I was here around 945 on a Wednesday and they were slammed. It only took about 20 minutes to get my to go order and latte, which was worth the wait. Will come back and dine in the next time I'm in the area.

It's definitely a cute place - smallish, but with lots of character and good food. They have a no nonsense espresso machine and they made me an upside-down dry cappuccino without any hesitation. If I lived in Ephrata I could see this becoming my main go-to for my cappuccinos. Service was friendly but a little slow. It could be our timing was bad, and to their credit the cook warned us that our order (we split one burger) would take 30 or more minutes. That seemed excessive to us but who knows, maybe they just received 10 DoorDash orders right before we arrived. Times like this really separate the good from the great restaurants. Great service would have been to not only apologize, but to also offer us a free espresso drink or an appetizer or a dessert to hold us over. Instead we had to ask for water two or three times. Over all, our experience was enjoyable, but they should consider hiring one or two more crew members.

We saw this diner and dedicated to stop. I had my doubts judging a book by its cover, so I opened up Facebook to check reviews. The general consensus was that the food is good, but the service needed work. So, considering I can't eat service but I can eat good food, we went in. The first lady to greet us did so with a big smile. She was friendly, helpful and kind. Our waitress, Jess, followed soon after. She too came with a smile and a greeting and she listened closely while my wife detailed her food allergies. She was genuinely concerned that my wife would be able to safely eat her meal and took detailed observation of her needs. Me? I got what I was looking for. I found my dried beef gravy over toast and enjoyed that with a side of hashbrowns and sausage links. The sausage was an up charge, but that was fine. It was good and a healthy serving. Sausage was not too spicy but not bland either. The dried beef gravy was a little thicker than I am used to, but it had good flavor, such as I enjoy. Orange juice was actually sweet. It wasn't that sour diner stuff you usually get at such places. Jess came back to our table frequently and made sure we were well taken care of. She was very outgoing and we talked for a little. She celebrated with us about our son's wedding and congratulated us. The meal was good. The service was good. I came close to a four star review over cleanliness. This is clearly an old diner and the floors were stained and a bit greasy. I believe they were probably mopped, but they should probably be stripped and cleaned professionally. The floor was pretty grimy. Not filthy with food, just greasy. Maybe it's a diner thing. The tables were well stocked with a wide range of everything from creamers and sugar to condiments. The booths were roomy and accommodated my size. The bathrooms were barely acceptable. I know people can make a mess of a bathroom, so I always try to grade on a curve, but the men's room was pretty dirty. The mirror was covered in hard water stains, the trash can was overflowing and the floor was dirty. I spared my reader a picture of the urinal, but it was pretty bad. I almost bumped it down a star for bathrooms. The windows in the diner also appear to be water damaged, giving it a worn out look from inside. Not material to the food or service though. Parking is ample. ADA spots are available. Overall I'd say quality of food was five. Service was five. Cleanliness was four stars. If you're looking for something nice, this isn't it. If you're looking for nostalgia or grandma's cooking, this probably isn't it. If you're looking for a place to grab a decent bite to eat and run, it is a solid contender any day.

I was seated in a booth and given a menu to look at. I requested an ice water and ordered the Shrimp Parm with Spaghetti ($14.99 plus tax) with choice of one side (chose mac & cheese) and garlic toast. The food came out in 12 minutes after I ordered. The portion of food was good which was comprised of 8 breaded jumbo shrimp topped with red sauce & melted cheese with a side of soft cooked spaghetti with a sweet meat sauce. The mac & cheese (orange) was very dense and rich. The thick slices of garlic toast were soft and buttery. After I was done, the check was brought over which was $15.89 with tax and before tip. I paid at the front register. Overall, the food I had was fantastic and I was a bit torn whether to choose a pasta dish or a traditional country homestyle meal. The shrimp parm was very tasty and hot as was the mac & cheese. The service was friendly and adequate. I was glad I stopped here instead of going to a smorgasbord restaurant, which was very packed and pricey. The meal I had at Ark House Diner was pretty reasonable.
