The food was really good and the manager was so nice to us since we had to wait for the chicken. He took it off our bill. The service was great as well. We stopped in before our ride back to New York. The ambiance was so great. It made you feel like you were at your grandma's house. We had a great time, and every time we go out of town we will stop if there is a Cracker Barrell along the road.

Corn muffins muffins were warm wit a nice toasty outside but need sugar Biscuits were moist and fluffy Chicken fried chicken was slamming. Hella crispy and wonderfully seasoned, with nice thick gravy. Fried apples were sweet and still maintained a slight crunch. Green beans were seasoned well and cooked down. Meatloaf was very flavorful and had a nice char on top. Pancakes tasted just as good as they looked. And they were perfectly golden and not super thick. Coleslaw was sweet and crunchy. Loaded bake potato was slightly over cooked and I turn dried out the skin and some of the inside. The loaded toppings were everything and made up for this shortcoming. The service as stellar, our waitress was nice and attentive. She forgot the bacon but got it out to us quickly once we made mention. She's human so I won't knock her for that. So nonetheless she was extremely sweet and made it a pleasant experience. I wasn't a big Cracker Barrel fan prior to this visit, but todays experience has changed my view for sure. Def would come back and recommend this location.

We always stop in Cracker Barrel when we visit family in Lancaster. Chicken and Dumplings are my fav! With Tunip Greens and Green Beans. And the beat biscuits ever. I normally do not like biscuits because they tend to be on the dry side but Cracker Barrel biscuits are delicious. I usually prefer corn bread but not here they're on the dry side. Hubby always get something different, this time he got the Country Fried Turkey since it was Thanksgiving weekend LOL. But he always have to get the Pinto Beans. We tried breakfast finally because it was Thanksgiving Day and everywhere else was closed. Cinnamon Roll Pie Breakfast was interesting. Cinnamon Roll in a pie crust, it was good lol. Grandma's Sampler was a good way to sample all the breakfast meats.

Fast and friendly service. You know what to expect when you go to Cracker Barrel - consistency. Our waiter was pleasant. We were in and out which is what we wanted because we had an early morning flight.

We came on a Sunday and had an hour and 45 minute wait. It was not worth the wait. The waiter did not return to our table and multiple times we had to ask for him. The place was about half full when seated - I'm thinking it must be a staffing issue. We asked for biscuits and corn muffins - they came out our food came. My chicken (pictured) was cold - even the sides were cold. Disappointing. We had to ask for extra napkins, straws, and refill on beverage.

    LOVE their general store!!!

DELICIOUS BREAKFAST fit for a king! This was brunch for is, so we "threw down!" Pancakes, eggs, biscuits, and grits! This was also our first indoor dining since March! Woo hoo! It felt weirdly wonderful!!! Peppy servers and, of course, the awesome gift shop. I love this place!!!

First overcooked strip of meat to the left. On the right was the severely undercooked replacement.

The food was really good. My husband said the salmon was amazing. My chicken Parmesan was more like a fried chicken breast. It was very good but very thin. I did not taste any Parmesan cheese in the crust and was only given a few cold slices of shaved Parmesan on top. It would've been much better if the cheese had been melted. Our server was very polite. It did take a while for us to get recognized after we sat down and to get refills. But I would definitely go there again. The prices were very reasonable, much cheaper than I expected-under $25 for each entree. You also get a basket of bread. The portion sizes were very generous. I recommend this for a nice evening out without kids. Very nice place to eat with good food.

It was basically a restaurant with a huge gift shop, a toy store and restaurant that was so popular you'd have to wait an hour to get in. As a kid I loved it and I've develped a fondness for these touristy restaurants. Not tourist traps because those are usually overpriced and not good. Millers Falls into that category for me. It's a gigantic restaurant with several adjacent stores and lots of branded items. But the attraction of course is the smorgasbord. Yes, that's essentially a buffet if you're reading this from one of my home towns on the west coast or Southwest. The place is huge and you'd think it might be slow to get or confusing but it's extremely well run. There are multiple stations such as Salads, Local Favorites, Appetizers and the ubiquitous carving station. I'd say stay away from the carving station; the roast beef was dried and a little tough. But everything else was great and very fresh. Some highlights included brown butter noodles, chicken pot pie (sortof a dumpling) Cabbage bake and ham balls. All the regional PA specialties are really delicious. The pickled eggs, pickled beats and spicy gardinera were yummy too. A gooey oatmeal pie was a delightful and delicious desert, but there were dozens of deserts to choose from as well. The wait staff were friendly and super efficient. If you're visiting the Lancaster area it's well worth the visit.

Having…read morenever attended one of these buffets, I wasn't aware of all the idiosyncrasies connected with participation. When we sat down we were immediately approached by a very pleasant smiling server. Her first question was whether or not we had ever frequented Miller's before? We said that this was our first time. Question #2 -What can I get you to drink? She then rattled off all kinds of soft drinks. We asked for a raspberry tea and an unsweetened tea. She kept our glasses full throughout our lunch. I was surprised to see a charge of $3.99 per drink added to our bill. Now I don't consider myself cheap. BUT, please say "would you care to order some beverages? Since this is your first time drinks are not included" The food was possibly a step above a college cafeteria. When i asked one of the food attendants "where's the beef"? he replied only on weekends. If you like pork and ham you're in good hands- they had what looked like a compressed turkey breast as well. The potato soup was very good and the fried chicken acceptable. So i was looking forward to the desserts. I love cherry pie so i took a piece and a piece of yellow cake with chocolate frosting.. You have to understand they cut 10-12 pieces out of a pie, small servings. After one bite of each as i pushed them both aside my wife had a stunned look. Knowing they are my favorites she was shocked i wasn't eating them. They were absolutely not worth the calories. BTW the coffee was lukewarm and the cup size was 4oz. at best. I'm glad i got the Amish Country buffet out of my system and hope I saved you a trip and the $80+ we paid with the tip.

We had ridden the Strasburg Railroad earlier…read morein the day and were looking for a place to eat when I fired up Yelp and found the Tavern by Spring House Brewing. It is located on East Main Street in downtown Strasburg. The inside consists of a large main room with an L shaped bar, a number of TVs, and then a second dining room off to the side. Since no one was seated in the second room and we had twin four year olds with us, we chose that space. Unfortunately the TV in that room was broken, so we were not able to watch the Steelers game that was on. Aside from that, the room itself had a cozy and slightly eclectic feel. There was a decorated Christmas tree lit up in the corner near the staircase which gave the space a warm seasonal vibe. The walls were decorated with brewery signs and beer themed banners, and a bright yellow decorative mantel stood out against the darker wall colors. Overall it felt casual and welcoming and worked well for a family dinner. For dinner on this evening I went with the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak while my wife chose the K Town Mac Bowl. The menu described my wife's dish as three cheese cavatappi pasta with smoked pork slaw, Korean BBQ drizzle, sesame seeds, and scallions. My sandwich was described as smoked chicken, American cheese, buffalo sauce, gorgonzola, onion frizzles, ranch drizzle, and a hoagie roll. I thought my sandwich ended up being good, especially since it was chock full of chicken. The hoagie roll was toasted and buttered nicely and added a good crunch, which the onion frizzles helped reinforce. The gorgonzola added a nice pungent pop of flavor. While I did get some buffalo flavor, I definitely could have used more. Because of that, the sandwich was a little on the drier side despite having cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch drizzle. My fries were seasoned and had a nice texture, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. At Spring House Brewing, a flight consists of four beers and I chose the Cucumber Salamander, Backroads Shadows, Daily Planet, and Love and Rockets. The Love and Rockets ended up getting mixed up and I was instead served Grease the Poles. I started with the Cucumber Salamander, which is a sour. It was a bit tart right from the start and that carried through to the finish, with a little extra pucker at the end. Up next was Backroads Shadows, a lager with a crisp, clean start before the malts came through on the finish. This felt like a really good easy drinking beer. Third was Daily Planet, an IPA that had citrus up front followed by a solid hop presence that carried through the finish. Last was Grease the Poles, a pale lager that started off very clean before finishing with some lighter hop notes. Out of the bunch, the Cucumber Salamander was definitely my favorite. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Our food and drinks were good, and I would be interested in trying more of their beers.

Unfortunately, the au ju did not make it any better. The Cole slaw had a good flavor and was not sweet, so that was the best part of the food.
