While the transition of the restaurants ownership has had more than it's fair share of unnecessary hardships, the same friendly welcome still radiates within the walls. It is still the same amazing building, with the same skillfully prepared from scratch menu, desserts made in house from scratch, perfectly crafted cocktails, and the friendliest atmosphere you could wish to dine in. Jonathan and Denill, the new owners, are amazing! They share the same passion as the rest of us, for delivering delicious quality food in a friendly environment. It truly is something to be proud of!

The menu offers appetizers, soups, pasta, pizzas, salads, entrees, and desserts with at least several options under each heading. The food was tasty and well cooked, and the portions were ample to generous. The service was attentive. The establishment makes it clear that there is a mandatory gratuity for groups of six or larger, split checks are not guaranteed for larger groups, and there is a 3% surcharge for credit card transactions. Be mindful of what you order. It can add up quickly. My companion and I wracked up a $200 bill between our drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Free parking is available after 5pm in the Cherry Street Parking Lot.

I'll be honest, I didn't know much about this place going in, but I'm really glad I went and I'll definitely be back. Walking in, the first thing you'll notice is a beautiful, large fish tank built right into the wall on your right. The restaurant is dim and upscale-feeling, but still very family-friendly and not loud or overstimulating, so you can actually have a conversation. They have both booths and tables, and the space is very open and spread out. As a parent, you can even strategically seat your family in view of the fish tank or the windows to give the kids something to look at. It's great for a casual family dinner, a date night, or even a birthday celebration. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no ramps, you can roll right in to your table. It's located in a plaza but set apart, so parking was never an issue. Plenty of spots, including handicap parking up front with just a short walk to the entrance. They have a solid variety on the menu including alligator bites, burgers, pasta, salads, and more. It is on the higher end price wise. Most entrees start around $14 and up, and even the kids meals begin at $8.90. The cocktail menu is extensive and the dessert menu is worth a look too. They also have a lunch menu where prices vary a bit more favorably. I ordered the Coastal Cheddar cheeseburger burger with no tomatoes and it was excellent. Very fresh, well seasoned, and served with shoestring fries that were equally on point. They also bring out a ciabatta loaf with butter to start, which was a really nice touch. Food came out quickly (always a plus). The staff is genuinely incredible. There's a tag team mentality where anyone on the floor can help you, refill your drink, or check on your table. My server was very attentive, and even when they got busy someone always stepped in. No reservations needed, at least when I went which was on a Sunday around 1pm. Highly recommend!

Excellent food! The soup flight was a great experience. My…read moredaughter enjoyed the crab corn chowder best. It was a bit too peppery for me to fully enjoy. My favorite was the Lobster Bisque. It was creamy and deliciously balanced. The clam chowder tasted like "old soup" as per my daughter's review. It was OK, but did taste like it was canned and therefore we didn't eat more than a few spoonfuls of it. (The crab and lobster soups were gone.) We both thoroughly enjoyed the gator bites. They were well prepared and very tender. My daughter enjoyed stated that she was surprised it reminded her more of chicken than what she had expected. The dipping sauce added a nice touch and was not too peppery or spicy. It was well balanced. The seafood gnocchi was filling and flavorful. My daughter enjoyed it and had enough leftover for another meal the next day. I thoroughly enjoyed my lobster roll and ate the whole thing. There was an abundance of fries, which I did not eat. They were good, but did have a bit more of a greasiness than I prefer. The drinks were typical Coke products, which wait staff were attentive to keeping filled. The ambiance is a great place for a casual quality meal with family, friends, work colleagues, or a date. The salt water tank in the "lobby" is always nice to look at. The place is always clean and well maintained. The booths are spacious and you can talk comfortably without being crowded by other patrons. I love this place because the food is always good and the atmosphere is calming with the dim lighting.

It's usually OK, typical diner fare, but today was a low point. It's a classic stainless steel diner, boasts a nice salad bar, and is clean and bright inside. Fixed booths, but plenty of tables available as well. We stopped by for breakfast just before noon today (they serve it all day like many diners) and it really fell short. how it began should have been our first clue -- we stood and waited a while for the manager to come out from the back and seat us. The waitress was quick to come and take our order though, and we ordered two standard breakfast choices -- nothing obscure or complicated. Nearly 30 minutes later we finally got our food. I don't know if it was missing one particular last piece, but I could tell parts of it were sitting under the heat lamps for quite some time. My scrambled eggs were hard and dry on top, and most of the food could be described as warm at best -- none of it "hot" or "fresh". The toast was barely toasted -- soft and not browned except on the very edges. Pancakes so cold, even the soft whipped butter did not melt, even in between two of them. When it was time to leave, there was a line of 4-5 others, because the same manager had disappeared again and I guess no one else could ring people out or something. We let him know about our bad experience when we left, and he said we should have said something when the food came out. Well, it's not like waitresses stand there while you eat and make sure everything is fine. And I wasn't about to complain and wait another 30 minutes for a re-do.
