Came up to spooky nook for my sons game and my wife has always loved fuddruckers. I decided to give them a shot. I ordered the 1LB burger with bacon which also came with endless fries. We waited at our table. There are plenty inside. At least 30 for sure. A mix of booths, high tops and low top tables. The place was clean. We waited about 20 minutes for our food as this place was pretty busy 30 minutes before closing. My burger arrived and they have a bar for condiments. Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and an assortment of other items. They also offer dispensers of ketchup, mustard, bbq sauce and mayonnaise. There is a small try of additional sauces such as A1 and malt vinegar. I personally added lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, A1 and I had bacon. The 1LB is actually two large patties on one bun. The burger was extremely dry to me with no seasoning or taste. I could barely taste the condiments. I honestly don't see the hype. The fries are endless and you can definitely get a second and third helping. Wonderfully seasoned and piping hot. The drinks are self serve with multiple options. Overall it's not awful. There are a few wins. I'd never get the 1LB burger and would probably go with a smaller one hoping for juicer meat. read more

Heard of Fudruckers, but this the first time that I've seen one. Order at the counter from an overhead menu, pick up and eat at indoor table. Refills on fries (not sure how you get them) and soda. I like that you can blend your own soda combination, like ginger lemon coke. Burger was moist, almost greasy. Cooked to order, which is nice. Fries were wedges, which are one of my favorite type fries. Restaurant was clean with chrome tube tables and chairs. Casual, but nothing special for their theme. read more

We had a very "mid grade" experience here one weekend. My biggest complaint was that the staff were all miserable and rude. Everything we asked felt like we were an annoyance. The food was just blah. I had the chicken tenders and fries and was not impressed with either choice. Everyone who got burgers said they were middle of the road - not bad, not fantastic. Fun for nostalgia. My best guess is this is relatively new. Was in the area with family, and we enjoyed going here. Wonderful employees, and they were dealing with crowds. Also I applaud the cleanliness. This one is tastefully decorated, and not as tacky as ones of years past. The one soda machine being down, caused large lines to back up. While my son and I enjoyed our well done burgers, the folks ones were medium, but perhaps a little too pink. I'll leave that to the experts, but that was their opinion. We were in the area for a basketball tournament and needed a bite to eat. It was a really big restaurant and the staff was nice. It was also pretty empty. There were maybe two other tables with customers. The food was expensive for what it was ... burgers and fries, which were pretty average. The shake on the other hand was very tasty. Seemed pretty clean but was dimly lit. The burger bar set up had some type of hot cheese melt that was just open and we didn't mess around with it because the presentation didn't seem sanitary. The restroom was spotless though- I see other reviews complaint about its cleanliness but it was good when I was there. Have to mention it was kid friendly and kids would probably enjoy going here... Close to tournament venue also. Okay for what it was, but wouldn't go out of my way to return. read more

Great choice for lunch or dinner! The burgers, chicken sandwich and turkey burgers were amazing! The toppings bar is so yummy! Fresh and delicious! 2 types of Lettuce, thick tomatoes, pickles, and two types of onions, plus dips like cheese sauce, salsa and buffalo blue and it is all unlimited! Came here with friends last night. My husband and I ordered two well done burgers and they came out medium. The staff were very apologetic and quickly started working on new burgers. They even offered us fries while we wait. I ordered onion rings with my meal and they gave me extra due to the inconvenience. This place is good. Today was probably my fourth visit in the last year. It's a bit out of the way, but if I'm returning from Harrisburg on 283 around meal time, I need to remember to get off at the Esbenshade Rd. exit and go here. Place was dead at 4:00 pm, then a guy came in right behind me. I got a 1/3 pound burger with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, and Swiss cheese. They have a good fixings bar and I loaded up my burger with raw onions, two kinds of peppers, ketchup. The Angus beef is the best. Bun was toasted and excellent. The guy who cooked my burger came out to check on me as I was halfway through and I told him "Great job!" I washed it all down with a fountain Coke. Overall it's about 9.2/10. The friendly staff are a nice plus. I like Five Guys a lot, but I would probably put this Fuddruckers slightly above FG. Route 66 in Lancaster also good, and much cheaper than Fuddruckers, but this is a damn good burger, easily customizable, friendly employees, comfortable space. Drove 4 hours to meet my nephew for dinner and he had never been to Fuddruckers so we felt like this was a must. Our burgers were not great. My daughter paid for avocado on their burger and it was hard and inedible. We got two house salads and they were really good and were a great price. We ordered three shakes and they were huge and delicious. So overall we weren't super impressed because we came for the burgers. The thing that really left a bad taste in our mouths is the fact that shakes are $4 if ordered with a combo and the drinks come with the combo. We bought 4 combos and were charged for the drink and full price for each shake. So if you really want to go here, order salads and if you get the combo the burger might not be great and check that you don't get over charged. read more

Believe it or not, I have never been to a Fuddruckers in my life. Mainly because they closed like half of their stores a while back and I'm not sure why. My experience here was really good and fairly easy. Pretty much what you do is come up to the counter, order the burger that you want. Then, they give you a buzzer thing to let you know that your order is ready, you pick it up, then you go to the "topping" bar to put whatever topping you want. The topping got varieties of toppings such as caramelized onions, regular raw onions, pickles, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayo, etc. You can legit get crazy and get lost in the process of choosing your toppings lol. I mean it is FREE so why not. They serve beer here but no cocktails. The burgers are definitely fresh and good. Bun was good, not too thick and doesn't get soggy quickly. They got those fancy soda machines as well and they have TVs. I would come back here again if I actually find one near me. read more

What the heck, Fuddruckers? My wife and I went in for lunch last Saturday after having been here a few times that were ok experiences. We had a living social certificate which was a great deal so we decided to go back. Burgers were meh. I asked for a medium rare and it was medium well. We got the onion rings and thought they were bottomless. We were wrong but we weren't told that. My wife went up and asked the cook and he said "I just gave out two more!" She said, "Not To us." He dropped a small order Of onion rings. The were brought out to us soaking in oil. He then marched out and said, "Just so you know... onion rings are NOT endless." Ok sir. We have a new restaurant in town! Well, technically, Fuddruckers (FR) is in Manheim, but it's very close to Mount Joy. In fact, it would take me to drive about two minutes from Darrenkamp's to FR, that's how close it is. This location opened in November and is owned by Jeff Roth who also owns the one in Hershey. In case you're wondering where this new FR, it's across from McDonald's off of 283. I decided to stop by on a whim and it seemed everyone else in town had the same idea. That place was hoppin'! The line moved quickly but gave me just enough time to peruse the menu. When I saw they had "Exotic" items, I got a bit of a tingling throughout my body. I love to try new things so I went for it and ordered an Emu Burger. Having lived in Australia for three years, I've tried kangaroo, crocodile and camel. It seemed fitting that I try Emu. The interior is open and looks very different from the one location I tried way back in Virginia Beach. With so many people and such an open space, let's just say it was a bit loud in there. However, I loved the décor and atmosphere. I can't wait to return with my boys. If you're not familiar with FR, you order at the counter and then you receive a buzzer. If you order a shake, they will also give you a number to put on your table. They will bring your shake to your table, but you will pick up your food once the buzzer vibrates. And don't forget to stop by at the toppings bar! Now, what about the food?? I ordered Sweet Potato Fries--one of my favorites. They were just okay for me. I needed to add some salt and, even then, they were still missing something. Nowhere close to Mooyah's Sweet Potato Fries. The Emu Burger was pretty good. I really wasn't sure what to expect. It tasted like beef but very lean. I wouldn't recommend ordering it well-done or even medium well. I always get mine medium and it was perfectly cooked and still juicy. But I would prefer more fat/grease in my burger. I'm glad I tried it but I wouldn't get it again. Shake was delicious but I don't think they use real strawberries. All in all, I was impressed. The boys and I were so hungry so we stopped by to gets some meals. I got the veggie burger which was huge and I ate it all. It's was moist and delicious. One boy got Emu burger and thought the portion was huge. He ate it all and reported he would get it again. The other got the 1/2 lb burger and commented it filled him up. Thank goodness. These are growing teens that can eat!!! Potato wedges were seasoned well and tasty. Ohh, they have warm cheese dip. Diet killer but so good-I couldn't resist. Also, I like that I can put on my own fixins to the sandwich. I like onions and many restaurants are skimpy on them. The tomatoes were not fully ripe but good for a burger. Sunday, 12-1 pm. Disappointed. Not up to the standards of burgers I know from decades again. Doubt beef is still being ground fresh on premises. Buns ok but unlikely to be fresh baked. Competent but not anything special. Fries and onion rings not even warm and even a little soggy. One of us also had explosive diarrhea afterwards. Had to buy some emergency Imodium. Order had also taken a little longer than we had thought it would. Many churchgoing people in the area so I should probably give the place the benefit of the doubt? Separate help yourself condiments area seemed clean, like the rest of the place. Soda is self serve from a machine that gives you many different options for flavoring your drink, like a peach Coke if you like. Very different racial demographic if you are dining in and just visiting from a more urban location. Quite homogeneous ethnically, if this is important to you. Funny thing in retrospect, the guy at the pickup counter kept insisting on taking the receipt from me. read more

I really enjoy our local Fuddruckers (in York, PA), but we were over in Lancaster area, and decided to give this one a try. Sorry that we did. We just assumed that all of the menu's for Fuddruckers (a franchise chain) would be the same, but they are not. This location does not offer the burgers by themselves - you have to order a burger with a side (cole slaw, side salad, or fries), and then they charge a premium for it. Ended up being way more expensive of a visit compared to our normal Fuddruckers, so we won't be back to this location. In addition - their topping bar was missing some of the items that I'm used to seeing (i.e. pico and other items). Oh well - glad we have better options in York. read more
