This time the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and not because of the food. It started when the man in front of me was at the counter placing an order for a grilled cheese. Whoever the person was taking the order gave the customer a hard time because it was a kid's menu item and told him he was not allowed to order this item since he was an older man and not a child. In my head I questioned this for a few reasons. First of all, what do you care what anybody orders as long as they're paying you money. Second, the order could have been for a grandchild or something given that this customer was an elderly man. Lastly, elderly people have smaller appetites so even if it was for him, again, what does it matter? I placed my order and while I was waiting I then heard this staff member go back into the kitchen complaining about this customer and saying that he wanted to punch the man in the face. I imagine that if I could hear it then possibly the elderly gentleman could have also heard this comment. Eventually when the man got his order to go the staff member told him to come back with a lollipop and a kid's outfit on and he would allow him to order off the kids menu again. The man left and the staff member called out to another waiting customer asking him if he had heard what the staff member said to the elderly man, as if it were funny. Also while I was waiting two other customers decided a table after placing their order in the same staff member approach the table and began having conversations with them including ideas he has for new menu items. During this discussion with them he made a comment about how any woman would want to place their lips on one of the new menu items being created. Before I got my order and left another man entered the shop and he casually made a comment to this staff member stating that he had seen the staff members wife earlier today. The staff member then asked where to which the man replied at his house then proceeded to tell the staff member that she came to pick up a washing machine. The staff member then tells this man that he doesn't want to hear about his personal life and how pissed off he was that he was being told this information. He then complains that his wife has better things to do at home and goes on again about how he doesn't want to hear about anything going on in this personal life while at work. I was facing the doors while inside the shop waiting for my food and you could clearly see streak marks on the floor as the sun highlighted them. I question how clean the mop water was that they used when cleaning. My food today was decent but I think the slice that I had previously was better. Again, the food here so far is decent but the lack of professionalism, in my opinion is not.
