Because Hearth & Harrow is a lovely little quick serve restaurant. It's also located in the middle of a Senior assisted living community. As we drove in, we noticed it was a lovely complex , built like a little town, but all new. Okay. Some patrons helpful showed us how to enter (through a lobby) and how to order. There's a kiosk option or order at the counter. They bring your food out to you. The restaurant is bright, clean & comfy with an outdoor patio dining option. We chose a cozy booth as it was looking like rain. One of us got the Pittsburgh Rare Steak salad (excellent), one hot chicken fingers (yum) and one a burger (juicy). What I really love the most about this place is their Old Bay Wings. They tasted so good every single time I've gotten them. The pizza is meh, like it's nothing special...the crust wasn't that crispy on the bottom and just tasted average. I felt a little turned off ever since reading the health inspection information on Lancaster Online, so I only order from here sometimes if I'm really craving the wings. Other than that, I don't think the place is anything special. It's just a local fast food restaurant if you want a quick, but average bite.
