Very cute brewery/meadery. I did a mead flight. Loved them. They don't have the bite of a normal mead. They are very smooth. The food was delicious! I am from Bucks County and we do not have any Meadary's. So this was a very nice visit. No table service. You order at the bar. I definitely recommend a visit here.

We had a few burgers and a pulled pork sandwich...all were good. We also tried the lemon ginger refresher which was tasty. This place is SUPER cute because of the indoor/outdoor dining option on the patio. I wouldn't hesitate to eat outside ever - the set up is great. We ordered our food at the indoor bar and it was quickly delivered to our table outside. My daughter lives close to Artifice and has attended Tuesday trivia which she says is fun. I love this location - plenty of parking and so much seating! It would be great for a birthday party, etc.

I visited ARTiface for the first time on Sunday afternoon in early August. This brewery and restaurant is located in the REO Marketplace buildings along Main St in downtown Manheim. This complex is near & dear to my heart because it is a refurbished set of buildings where my great grandfather ES Zimmerman opened the first car dealership that sold REO's in Mannheim in 1907. I think it's pretty cool that someone took it upon themselves to refurbish these buildings and even name it after the REO (Ransom Eli Olds). I think the actual brewpub is really in the old Bickel's chips building, but the preserved history is wonderful. So was my beer. They have a nice list of very types of craft beers and they also offer a food menu which I was not aware of before visiting and I did not partake of any food today. The bartender was very sweet and friendly and we had a nice chat and they have a nice additional room on the other side with couches and televisions and they also have an outdoor space and garage doors that open to the outside in favorable weather. I really enjoyed the look at the place and the selection of beers. The cool thing is that there is actually a 1929 REO Flying Cloud out front on the patio. I found plenty of free parking right on the streets, but I do believe there is a parking lot on the side of the marketplace. I definitely recommend you stopping by if you were in the area! I hope to be back and have lunch there within the next couple months.

We found Artifice through the Ale Trail book. We enjoyed our first experience, we loved everything about it (food, drinks, atmosphere, etc). So, when we were looking to host a 25 person event, I reached out to them. I spoke with Julie Wrede (owner) and told her what we were thinking. In particular, we wanted to utilize the Broadleaf Room Patio beside the main restaurant. Julie could not have made it easier. The communication was awesome, she was very responsive. We exchanged a few emails to work out details and things were quickly arranged and ready to go. Yesterday we held our party and it was everything that we were hoping it would be. The room was perfect, we brought a few decorations to put out, there was plenty of room, the service was top notch (thank you Kate & Bri). The were orders taken and brought out quickly (I should mention that we did not all order at the same time, so these girls were hustling!) and everyone enjoyed their food. Julie checked in several times to make sure that things were as we wanted. And they were... drinks were flowing, food was being eaten, we played games out in the yard, we were having lots of laughs, it was perfect! Artifice went above and beyond. I highly recommend them for an event such as ours, as well as a fun time out with friends. Great place.

Wednesday is wing night! While I wouldn't recommend the garlic Parmesan flavor (they're oily) I would recommend the wings in general- they're crisp and meaty! The service went well, but you have to be patient. Given it was a Wednesday, there was 1 bartender and one food runner- you have to order at the bar and seat yourselves. I tasted their Sweet Tea mead, delicious. Meads and beer are on tap! The ambiance is nice, relaxed, and casual. I heard they allow pets in the outside spaces too which is nice!

I popped in here for a quick lunch before heading to a nearby winery. ARTifice has a nice, large outdoor area that is very social distancing friendly. I ordered the cheeseburger with Belgian fries. The burger was pretty standard. I liked the thick cut of the fries. My waitress was friendly and this would be an easy place to return to.

Located on the main street of small town Manheim is this fairly new establishment. There is a parking lot on the same side of the street a building over. I came here with some friends who helped me move and treated them to a meal and drinks for their assistance. Seating is available outside. A variety of beers and unique meads are available that they make. Our waitress was personable, helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food everyone received was prepared well and everyone was very satisfied with their meals. Not many exciting businesses exist in this town so it is nice to have an establishment like this. I must admit, prices are higher than average but the combination of service and quality of drinks and food made it worth it. I will definitely return.

Get the pretzel bites! Totally different than any that I've ever eaten. The beer cheese is off the hook. I grabbed a lemonade, my husband got the Zeickelbier beer which is a German style on filtered young Pilsner. He really liked it. Our friend got a Revivified, which has hints of coffee and chocolate, a full body stout. He also really liked that. I got the lemonade,. Beautiful inside and outside. Great vibes

If you like spicy food and good beer, this is the place for you. I can appreciate that their menu is a departure from typical Dutch fare, but some dishes were too spicy (Korean Bao Buns) and some were too bland (Mac and Cheese). The mead and beer though were excellent! Loved the option to pick four for a flight tasting. Orange Blossom mead was mellow and easy-drinking. I will certainly be back for more!

I really like mead and was so happy that I could get a flight of several here. They were all very good. We just got fries and chicken tenders and they were very tasty. It was a gorgeous early fall day so we could sit outside and watch the games in the open air area. It's right next door to the Prussian St Arcade which is a great place to shop a variety of crafts and gifts.

I retired from drinking a long time ago, and I discovered that they make one heck of a "virgin Mary"! (a bloody Mary without the alcohol. ) Rich and tangy. I asked for just a small splash of Tabasco in it, and he got it just right. It was Amazing. I'm sorry I forgot to get a picture of the drink. For food, I started with the goat cheese, strawberry salad. Spinach, strawberries, almonds, goat cheese, and red onion, with a poppyseed vinaigrette. I ordered the "starter" portion, and it was huge! The spinach, strawberries, and onion were very fresh, I loved the almonds, the goat cheese was creamy, and had a fantastic Tang to it, and the poppyseed vinaigrette was creamy and delicious. I also ordered a cup of the gumbo, and it was also a very decent sized portion. The rice was just the right texture, it was rich, and it had just a little bit of a zip to it. Very, very good. I was pretty much stuffed from dinner, but I had to try the caramel croissant bread pudding for dessert. That too, was a very decent sized portion, the bread pudding was very savory, and the ice cream and caramel just played so perfectly off of it. This was an absolutely fantastic meal. It was a great evening. Everybody who worked there, especially the bartenders and servers, were beyond friendly and helpful. Also, the prices on the menu are very reasonable. I would like to come back to either here, or one of their other stores. Thank you!

I had made a reservation, which made it easy for us to come in and grab a seat. We came in at 7:30pm and it was busy but not crowded. Overall, I would say that the food is decently good for the most part, however the kitchen and service was a bit wild. If I remember correctly from the previous year that I was here, the service was really slow, but last year it was crowed and packed. So I had thought it would've been because how busy the restaurant was....however, coming back again, I would say that they're just slow. Period. Other than our orders, things just kept getting messed up again and again. One thing that's confusing is that the on-line allegory menu is NOT consistent with what they tell you IN PERSON for the allergy alerts. All that to say, things that didn't have egg or dairy allergy (for my child) on-line had allergies when asked in person....confusing. But we had ordered food based off of the on-line menu for it to come back and say it had an allergy...so we changed our order. The apps and the kids food came out first, but the first order still came out and then we sent it back. Then the new order came "rushed" (but 15 min later) incorrectly AGAIN, and "rushed" for us to finally get our order for our kid only for it to come out incorrectly AGAIN. So it only took FOUR times and the communication wasn't there. Super frustrating at 8:30pm waiting for my kid to eat. WILD times (also nothing was done to mitigate this chaos). We had also asked for our broccoli to NOT be soggy but..,you guess it, it arrived soggy and we've been through so many back and fourth we didn't bring it up As for our food when we finally got it 45 - 50 min later.... Our main course adult meals were the pub burger with fries and Baja fish tacos with salad. The burger was pretty good, not dry but juicy and flavorful. The pretzel bun was decent, slightly better than Costcos, and the combo of the flavors were pretty good! Overall, solid burger with good flavors 4/5! Their fries in general are pretty lame, not crunchy and little flaccid and soft, not seasoned well either. Just meh, 2.5/5 The fish tacos were actually good, the fish was battered well with a great crisp and decent amount of fish inside and the sauce and toppings made it great. I probably could've gotten an extra one added to it as they were a little smaller in portion. Overall 4/5! The side salad was a little lame. Normal salad, 3/5. We got two appetizers the Philly cheesesteak rolls and pretzel sticks. Both were good! The cheesesteak rolls had a good crunch to it and decent amount of meat inside, I'd pair with the white sauce more than the red sauce but both kind of worked. 4/5! The pretzel sticks were good! The cheese and the mustard (a bit on the stronger mustard side) paired well with them. Pretzels were soft and had good amount of salt on them. 3.5/5 Overall, the food is good and have some good options, but with the service and how SLOW and how much of a headache the back and fourth is the orders were, I'm honestly not sure if it's worth the hassle for the food. And there was no FOH or anyone apologizing or comping anything. Kind of disappointing tbh.
