Love this place. Very good menu, very good atmosphere, very good food , very good staff & very good service! Thanks to all!

I came here not once but twice with one of my good friends and you gotta try their ham calzones they are delicious. They are baked so well the crust it's not too thick not too thin but just right. The ricotta cheese is creamy and great tasting. When you enter the restaurant the people who work there are very nice and friendly. The inside of the restaurant is clean and they do a great job keeping it clean. I don't live near the restaurant but it always worth the drive to come. Everything went well from the food to service. Don't let the location of the restaurant drive you away you should definitely give them a try. I'll be back again when I have a chance. read more

Francesco's is my go to for Italian in the Manheim area. I moved here over a year ago and have been going there since. Great food, great service and always very polite. read more

I ordered a chicken parm. I got a chicken sauce with the mozzarella melted onto a plate that was wrapped in my foil. Who puts a paper aka water soluble plate in with a wet sandwich? How dumb. Put the cheese In the sandwich, not on top of the outside of the bun. Smh... back to grazianos. read more

I tried them on a First Thursday event in Manheim. I liked their pizza! Good sauce! I don't like places that have sauce heavily on the sweet side- this pizza didn't. Good crust. People who were running the little stand were really friendly too! read more

Stopped here for lunch on a dreary day. After reviewing the menu I decided to go for their steak wrap lunch special. The lunch special includes french fries and a 20 oz bottle drink from the cooler. I decided to dine in and sat at my table and within less than 10 minutes I was already eating. I could tell that the fries just came out of the fryer because they were piping hot and crispy. When you order a wrap you have the choice of white or wheat wrap and I chose wheat. The steak, in my opinion, needed some seasoning but this was easily remedied as there were salt and pepper shakers at each table. At $7.99, I felt it was a good deal and they gave a lot of fries. As I was getting close to completing my meal I decided to order a small super bowl to go. For a small it was definitely bigger than I expected it to be and heavier and they included a nice amount of sauce for dipping. I saw that they offer a wing special on Thursdays that I might have to check out. There is a private parking lot and they have drive-thru for takeout for convenience. read more

Can't say enough about this place. We drive 45 mins to eat the day after Thanksgiving every year. The service is great. Excellent pizza. Super cozy dining room. Easy off street parking. So great. If this place isn't the most popular pizza shop in town, it should be. read more

I ordered a large cheese pizza and it came out quick , not to mention how nice the staff were! And the scenery of the place was nice! So overall 5 Stars from me! read more

The Sicilian is one of my personal favorites as this place has been around for a while and proven that quality means something and is of utmost importance. Grab a pie, the pals and family and have a wonderful time that Francesco's help make better read more

To be completely honest, Francisco's was never even close to my top 10 favorite pizza places in the area but with the recent grand opening and change of ownership, they are now my go to and I find myself constantly craving their pizzas, bolis, and cheesesteaks. Not only is the food amazing, but the employees actually seem to really care about their customers as well. It's really great to see this place thriving. I hope you'll give them a try so you can see it too! read more

Tried the BBQ wings and they were nice size and had good sauce. They have a flat $3 delivery fee. I'll continue to go.

The response to the review didn't address the rudeness of the owner . Further more it is an insult to blame it on the computer . I will NEVER return to your establishment! read more

I really like the chicken cheese steak, turkey sub and fries. It's always ready when I get there and the staff is very nice. I recommend it for anyone! read more

Disappointing: After seeing so many good reviews, we went on a Friday night. Never having been there before, we went to a table and sat down. Finally, I was told to come to the front to order. Having seen the linguini with white clam sauce on the menu, I asked for it only to be told 'we don't make that anymore'. Well, that was the reason I came. So, my wife and I settled for lasagne, figuring that every Italian restaurant knows how to make that. Wrong. It was edible. I should have picked up on the clues: No table service, we were the only ones eating in, but pizza was flying out. So, if you came for pizza, you are probably OK. If you came for a nice sit-down dinner, not so much. Bottom line: Will we come back? Rhetorical question. read more

Not bad. Typical small town Italian restaurant decorations, plus one tv and a cd jukebox. I had the eggplant parm sandwich (small) and it was more than enough. I also ordered a small fry, which again was more than I needed. Fries were skin on boardwalk style, lightly salted, and cooked perfectly. Eggplant was tasty too, but had that seemingly always soggy feeling that must be unavoidable with it. Bad reviews seem to be on employee interactions, but I thought they were quite pleasant with me. Who knows. read more

Great food and service pizza is so good and the customer service is better than any other pizza shop I frequent

I found the owner is not grateful after I found his phone and returned it he looked at me like I was the one who stole it not even a thank you for finding and retuning the phone because of the lack of a simple thank you is the reason i no longer go to Francesco's. read more

Food is amazing and always fresh. Super quick delivery. Owner is a troglodyte and has zero customer service skills. Reminds me of the Seinfeld "Soup nazi" Will continue to order here because the food is tops. read more

Nice to see the family back in business and as for as the food. WOW, they don't have any rust. All was good and brought back so many great memories. Definitely will be back for the food and the family atmosphere. Keep up the good work!! read more

The menu is classic mom and pop pizza place. The kitchen could use a good cleaning and the dining room could be mistaken as a dining room in your grandmothers house. It's close to me so I tend to overlook the bad parts an focus on the good things. The food is good, always hot, and is usually pretty quick. read more

I will never eat here again. Pizza was incredibly greasy and the crust was basically burned. There is a 4% convenience fee for using a card. A high delivery fee and the owner gets upset if not given a tip. The pizza is not worth all the fees you have to pay for it. read more

Sandwiches are made on pizza bread. Not a lot of taste in the pizza, it's kinda like eating cardboard. Staff is friendly

Since a New owner bought the pizza establishment, the food is excellent. Now I would totally recommend this Pizzeria.

Had to run errands in manheim had a craving for cheesesteak so stopped at Francesco's never been here but have driven by lots time .. Wow first an last time .. Got a large mushroom ch steak .. Yummy cold subs and love the cicio fries. So good. Pizza is good too. Often use coupons from Val pal that come in the mail. We've always been happy with our food. Once however ordered a Philly cheesesteak and the cheese was barely detectable. But the sandwich was still good read more

I stopped in for lunch while traveling for work. I had (and loved) the Italian Wedding Soup. I also go the Italian hoagie; I loved the soft roll and the fillings. And the hoagie came with a bag of Martin's Chips! I will definitely be back if I pass through again. read more

Great food and service whether you are eating in or getting delivery. Love their dinners. Steak sandwiches are delicious and really stuffed with meat. Portions are generous no matter what you order. Highly recommend this place. read more

I ordered food from a restaurant 15 mins away and drove all the way there to only have them tell me it was cash only. Not having any cash I was driving home for my debit card to get out cash but saw this place and thought I'd give it a try. I vented to them about my experience with the other pizza place and they not only got my order out super quick but were about 6 dollars cheaper. I was able to pay with my credit card and the food was super yummy. I was so impressed and came home raving about the place. I will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite in the area! read more

I visit with some friends once a month and we order takeout from here, the last few times we've ordered the food has been terrible. It seems as though they aren't changing the fryer oil or are over cooking fryer items. I've had burnt jalepeno poppers, burnt French fries and burnt mushrooms. I've been given the wrong food and Any additions we ask for are missing and simple things such as mayonnaise which is included is not put on. I wish this place would put more effort into their work. The first time I had food from here it was great but anymore it's a waste of time. read more

IMHO best place for a cheap meal in manheim. pizza, stromboli, salads, and subs are all great, prices are good, quick service. they have good lunch specials - 5.99 for half a sub, FFs, and a drink - can't beat it. their grilled chicken salad is really good - not the pressed nasty chicken you find at the other, cough (A&M) pizza places in town. read more

What a WASTE of $$!!!!!! Turns out it's under new ownership. My 4 golf ball size, frozen meatballs were COLD, the red sauce was also cold, watery and had a sour smell. Then, my daughter finds a nice long, curly hair in her cheeseburger!!!! How could one of the best Italian restaurants in manheim become the WORST restaurant in manheim in 3 months?? The old owner cared, his food was good, service even better. I'LL NEVER RETURN!!!! We used to love Francesco's, if you choose to dine here, do so forewarned!! Don't expect much, perhaps you may have a different experience. I wouldn't even take the meatballs home to feed my dog. If you are expecting good, hot food and friendly staff, A fool and his money are soon parted! read more

Garbage food. Burnt food and took forever to get the order. The delivery driver is rude. Complete waste of money

I've been a customer for a very long time since I work in the area. The last 5 times that I've ordered something was incorrect. Doesn't matter if it was minor or major a mistake is a mistake. The first time it happened I called to complain the male that answered the phone stated they were closing but the next time I ordered it would be taken care of. So the next time I ordered I mentioned this and was almost laughed at and did not receive any compensation. So tonight I placed 3 orders at the same time. Went to pick up the orders and guess what my order wasn't even made. Because the printer didn't print the slip. So I was offered to stay and wait while it was made, which wasn't an option because I'm at work, or take 2 slices of pizza instead of the small pizza that I ordered. I chose neither option and I will never order from here again. read more

Just ordered my first cheesesteak and I have to say, it was excellent! The bread was perfect and so was the meat, cheese, and toppings in the sub. My husband and I ordered a large to split and it was huge! Great size! The guy who answered the phone to take my order was pleasant and very kind. When I stopped in to pick up my order same thing; polite and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend and will be ordering again! read more

Pizza is usually a little overly greasy. California burger is always a safe bet and my wife and I enjoy their mozzarella sticks. Service leaves room to be desired. When you order by phone, IF you get one of the young women, you'll be okay. Anyone else? Good luck. The last order I placed the man could barely speak English, didn't understand me and got very pissed when I asked to speak to someone different and kept making me repeat myself. I finally cussed at him after 5 minutes of ordering the same 4 things repetitively and hung up. 10 seconds later my wife called got someone different, and our order was placed in less than 30 seconds. The restaurant is small and dingy. Their delivery service is excellent, however can't be compared to much in the way of delivery in such a small town that doesn't get delivery options. All in all, plenty of room for improvement. read more

Honestly the 1 star is because until I experienced the beyond rude owner, I didn't know if the rumors I've heard were true, and unfortunately they are. When you're a business owner, you'd think it wouldn't be a good idea to not only argue with the customer but insult them. The food is good but as far as the service go, its sucks and me along with other people can just as easily go to a different pizza place with good food and service(not like the bars high hahaha). I'd definitely check into reading a human resources or public relations how to handbook because I can't imagine those doors being open much longer with as many negative reviews as there are about him and refusal to go back. read more

After posting a negative review on here Thursday night, my credit card was fraudulently charged $8.87. I have reported this to both the local authorities, as well as my bank. Now a single cheeseburger and some awful wings have cost me $28.92. I have tried contacting the restaurant several times this morning (taking time away from my weekend activities) but my calls don't get answered. Think twice before giving your credit card info to Francesco's! read more

As many people have already stated the employees here are RUDE! I tried to call back after ordering a white pizza to add a soda and wanted to make sure they knew this wasn't a new order and the guy on the phone practically yelled at me saying that he knew and then hung up on me. And the pizza wasn't even good! WONT BE ORDERING HERE AGAIN! If they were smart they would be looking at all these reviews and taking into consideration that maybe they should treat their customers a little better or they will continue to lose business from locals in their town who supply the majority of their revenue. read more

dude at the counter is rude to start. I ordered the special, 12 wings and a large cheese pizza. The pizza is decent, and is only 10 bucks with the wings. But the wings are terrible. What's really terrible is I was given 5 tiny pieces of celery that dident even have a hint of green in them. Compleatly white, skinny, and deffinitly not fresh celery. I love celery. After delivery and tip it costed me 25 bucks and I got 1 decent pizza and shitty wings. The celery was compleatly unacceptable. This is not the first time I've ordered there, and this is my first Yelp review. I literally made a yelp account just now because of how annoyed I am. If they keep running the business like that it will go to shit in no time. Everytime I've ever walked in nobody is there. No wonder. read more
