Prepare yourself to be nickel and fined here folks. I ordered a chicken sub to stay and asked for pickles. Eighty cent up charge on the bill; no forewarning from the server and no mention of the price of pickles on the menu. In America, it's almost time honored that pickles are gratis with a sandwich. The buffalo chicken I ordered was actually quite good. Flavored nicely with some fresh tasting sandwich vegetables. The hero bread was very obviously not freshly made, but it still was acceptable. The pasta dish my wife ordered was just bad. The chicken tasted like it came from a Lean Cuisine frozen dinner box. Really poor quality on the in breaded chicken. Prices at face value were okay, but the unannounced extra charges were annoying. I could say the same about the service. Decor was actually refreshing as a stone wall mixed in with a tasteful mural made me feel like I wasn't in middle of nowhere PA! read more

I'm cautious with more stars as the second to last visit I was grossed out with the chicken finger meal I took home. It was generous with 5 pieces of chicken but I think they were frozen, defrosted and microwaved to a hard crusty tasteless piece of meat. The fries, as always, were delicious and generous. Now, the last visit I ordered a cheeseburger meal with a good sized, tasty piece of burger on a delicious, fresh roll, generous fries and a drink. This is an amazing family oriented pizza/ sub shop with homemade bread. The owner and employees are always so very nice and the food is absolutely wonderful and large portions for the $$. It's a definite go to at least once a week. My kids really enjoy the French fry pizza. Try it if your in the area, you won't be disappointed. After a recommendation from a friend, we went here and it is slowly becoming our 'go to' pizza place. With probably 20 pizza joints within a 5 mile radius, Little Italy really shines. Their crust is thin and delicious, and their sauce is great too. What really sets them apart are the friendly staff who work the registers and drive thru. We usually only go on Friday night, and are always greeted with a smile and a genuine conversation. Our 'regular' place, even though we have gone there almost every Friday for over 7 years, still doesn't seem to recognize us when we come in!!! read more

Stopped here after riding the Northwest Trail. Fast, friendly service and the food was great for the price. Note: address is 2141 River Road. My son had the spaghetti and meatballs and I had the cheeseburger sub. Meatballs were a decent size, the sub rolls were fantastic - and the sandwich was full. We'll be back. read more

When I arrived we got our drinks and ordered fast. Others filled up soon after. When waiting I saw everyone else getting food first and then us. My drink was empty and server was no where to be found. I was told I can get my own drink. Server never came back to check up on us and then I received my bill and became furious it had gratuity on it. I shouldn't have to pay a server 10% when she did nothing and I basically served myself. I will say the food was outstanding and flavorful but my service was horrendous and won't go back inside only order take out. read more

Been here probably a hundred times and haven't had a bad meal yet. Pizza is best in our area, pepperoni logs are amazing, subs are fantastic as are their dinners. This place used to be awesome when it was smaller and down the road. We would drive 25 minutes to go here. Now that they moved to the bigger place I'm really disappointed, luke warm food, stale or overcooked rolls, poorly assembled pizza, over and over again. We don't even bother to go anymore, there is 15 average pizza shops within 2 minutes of me, I just save the time and gas and stay local now. OK I really want to do this place justice. For starters if your looking for a romantic setting then I recommend doing that yourself at home and just serving Little Italy's food with maybe a bottle or 2 from the local vineyard (Nissley Vineyards). OK that being said I think they have some of the best Italian food around and there prices are really good compared to most places. My family has been eating food from here since the week it opened. We havent tried everything but I'd say about 85-90% of the menu. There pizzas are outstanding, with crisp outer crust and chewy inner. They dont give attitude when asking for little things like making half a pie with one topping and the other half something else, which for some reason gets me evil glares if I ask at other places. When you order a topping you really get a topping, I mean they put alot on and always high quality ingrediants. They make everything them selves except for maybe the pasta which tastes as good as any homemade pasta I have had. There menu is rather big for being such a small family style resturant. Lots of choices for any stlye of eater even the lowcarb people out there. Ok i could go on and on about there food but now its time to bring up the staff. First is the Owner Enzo who is there the majority of the time, he is super friendly and treats ya like family. Every time I go in hes working hard but alwasy asks about the family and such. His wife is there alot too and is also friendly and helpfull. It seems he gets a highschool crowd working there but as far as I can tell they are all very nice and the ones who cook do a great job too. They dont do delivery which if they did Id probally be like 500 lbs and bed ridden, but It is definatly worth driveing there to pick up or eat inside if you like. My family has probally had there food average of about 2-4 times a month and really never had anything bad quality what so ever. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks. They are so much better then any other Pizza / Italian resturant around. Only compaint i have ever had was onetime my order was slightly off, but only by putting mayo on when I said no mayo but it was also around superbowl time and they were packed. read more

Would actually score this lower, but can't. Had gone here for years, pies are okay they have slipped since they relocated, but not really anything else in area. A couple weeks ago, we got a pie that was too big and jammed in the box on three sides, where crust was folded over on cheese. We call and sent picture of pie to Fran, who said okay we'll give you a free pizza next time you order. Next time was tonight. My wife called in and Fran was upset and apparently had a change of heart and started berating my wife in front of staff and other customers. Also The pizza we got was about three inches away from box on all sides. I guess they wanted to make sure that this one fit, but what really was bad was we offered to run it back the night we got it, but we were told that it was no problem. Keep it and we'll give you a free one next time. We ordered from here 2 maybe three times a month. After the shameful and pathetic display put by this management member and LACK of ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE we will no longer order from here. Good Luck read more
