Ordered from Marcello' s tonight for the first time. Got a stromboli and a calzone along with an appetizer combo for delivery. The app combo was a collection of items that probably come frozen and are deep fried in house before serving. We liked the cauliflower and mozzarella sticks. The poppers were okay, as well as the onion rings but the mushrooms were soggy and gross. It came with three sauce cups: hot cheese, marinara and something beige, hot and tangy. It wasn't Alfredo and it wasn't ranch. No idea what it was, other than weird. We ordered a personal sized calzone and a medium stromboli and they were the same size in the box. I'd asked for the calzone "pretzel style". It was a slightly darker brown than the stromboli and had salt on top. I believe they brushed it with a baking soda solution before baking. It had a vague pretzel flavor but it wasn't shiny and the brownness was uneven. When I cut it open to eat the filling was really uneven. The first few bites had no ricotta at all. The ends had no mozzarella. I added ham, which is a standard calzone filling where I come from, here it was an add on, and it was sort of roughly sliced and again, not evenly distributed throughout the calzone. The bottom was pale. There was no crunch or crispness to the shell at all. My husband and sons shared the original stromboli, to which they added pepperoni. They had the same complaint I did about the ingredients being really uneven inside. The food was pretty cold when it arrived. Its cold outside, true, but we only live three minutes from the shop. It was also a little pricey for what we got. We are not likely to order again. read more

Absolutely the worst pizza I've ever had. They put the minimum amount of cheese to cover the pizza crust, could barely taste it. Also the ham topping looks like it was just thrown on top of the pizza after it was finished it the oven. I had better pizza from a school cafeteria. Finally decided to try this spot out after living in the area now for two years and passing by it all the time. I'm a pizza connoisseur and have had some of the best pizza around. I had pretty low expectations going in as usually when I try a new place it usually falls short in many areas. So I'll start out with my phone call in to order carryout. The girl who answered was friendly. I asked if they used fresh mushrooms and she had asked to verify. They most certainly use canned mushrooms. The menu does say "fresh" toppings. A major pizza foul, but not a big deal. I ordered a plain cheese and white pizza. Let's first get into the plain cheese pie. I thought the crust could have been cooked more underneath. The sauce didn't really have the best flavor either. It's very doubtful I'd order a plain cheese pie again. The white pizza was better, but lacked ricotta cheese. I did think the crust was more crispy on the white pizza though. The crust on both also lacked flavor. They give you those garlic flavored dipping sauces ala Papa John's which is basically hydrogenated oil and artificial flavoring. Yuck. It was $28 for two pizzas. Unless I've got a coupon I don't really think it is worth almost $30 bucks for two pizzas. I may try their subs down the road, but when it comes to pizza it's pretty mediocre. read more

No good. We decided to try this place since we pass it two times a week. Order 2 Italian subs which had one slice of Italian meat on the one sub domestic ham and salami and provolone, the other domestic ham and salami ( we order no cheese on this one). Asked for oil and oregano, got the oil no oregano. The turkey sub was so so. Besides that we all got sick after eating these subs. Never again. read more

Their pizza is really good, the best we have had in a long time. We placed a large order for my daughters birthday party and they were amazing. The owner was so nice and really helpful through the whole process. I highly recommend this pizza shop in mt wolf/ west Manchester area. read more

Very good pizza! You need to keep your eyes open as you are rolling down PA-24 towards Manchester as you can roll right by this place without even noticing. Their pies are very good, but they are a little pricey considering the deals that they have to Papa Johns right around the corner, but it is worth the price. The sauce is the key. Its got a great flavor, and their meats are more authentic italian. I love the sausage pizza. Not many people eat in as they don't have any good parking, but delivery is prompt and the pies are always hot. The drivers are friendly as well. If you want to get a great pie, stop in Marcello's! read more

Placed our first delivery order of pizza and wings today (12/31/20) at 4:58PM. Advised order would take approximately 1hour. Order arrived at 6:10PM which timing was fine as it is New Year's Eve. First thing noted was delivery person was not wearing a mask when coming to door. Next when opening pizza box had to recut all slices as it was cold and unable to separate slices due to cheese overlapping and congealing. About 4 bites into his first slice my husband found a screw/bolt baked right into the slice!!! I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with a gentleman who was very blasé about my call. Offered a lame apology making excuses for how busy they were, another free pizza today (which wait time now 65-70 minutes) or 10% off next order. Did not seem at all concerned, luckily there was no broken teeth or he did not swallow. I understand busy and the craziness of 2020 but the complete lack of concern or a genuine attempt to correct is beyond me. I wish it was possible to give a negative star and will never order from this establishment again. Hopefully this review and photo of bolt seen below will influence his response in the future. There have been several times we have ordered items and gotten something different, then when we call to let them know it's incorrect they argue and don't help. Okay so I've lived in Mt Wolf for over a year now and have never ordered out until today. My neighbor orders frequently from here so I thought I'd give it a go. Well, I ordered a medium cheese pizza with extra cheese and sausage and also a classic Italian sub with mayo. One thing I gotta say is the order/deliverery time was great! They told me 25 minutes and it was less then 20 which is awesome! The pizza was really just okay, nothing outstanding but still nothing bad about it either. However it didn't seem to have the extra cheese on it but still no biggy! The sub in the other hand was outstanding! Very very well made and tasted great! Nice fresh roll with a nice hint of oil and vinager! So all in all a good experience here....I will be ordering again. read more

Normally really good food here. Not tonight, soggy wings and about an hour and twenty minutes for delivery. Wasted $1.99 on adding onion to the pizza. They use finely chopped raw red onion that they add after pizza is out of oven. Will be trying the many other pizza places in the area from now on. read more

I've tried very hard to like this place. It's my local pizza place as it's right off my street. The staff is always friendly and the service always fast and good. Their sauce is also very good. Very tomato-y as opposed to sweet. Unfortunately they cheap out on EVERYTHING. Pizza with very little sauce or cheese and crust which is basically cardboard, tiny chicken wings, subs with hardly any meat, stromboli that are basically just dough. It's a real shame. read more

Seems like things have changed for the better! Just about every time I call in to Marcello's in Manchester they pick up the phone and talk with out putting me on hold right away. There food is fresh. The orders are correct... I think there wings are a great value, lots of meet and good flavor. Wish they would pick up gluten-free pizza. read more
