Both the dining room and pizzeria were nearly full, and hopping with energy! Our expectations were high! Any restaurant that serves Guinness beer on tap earns a bonus star from me! Unfortunately, the flavor was a little off and I get the impression that not too many customers drink the Guinness. It struck me as beer that was a little past its expiration date. Thankfully our food was very good. Everything had a distinctive and agreeable flavor. Even the bread and olive oil had us cutting extra slices. I ordered the quattro formatti pizza and added bacon. It was as unique and tasty as it sounds. If you look closely at the picture you'll see that someone took a bite before I had a chance to photograph it. But apart from that, notice all the different colors and textures, which made for a nice, lively pizza. In the other photo you can see the chicken parmigiana, which they agreed to substitute Alfredo sauce instead of marinara. That was a delicious dish as well! We ended up way too full for dessert!! It's too bad because there were lots of interesting options to choose from. If we ever find ourselves in Mount Joy again we'll surely consider coming here again. The only thing that left a bad taste was the old-tasting beer.
