Absolute pool of grease from the Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza. Was a 10min drive and thought setting them on my seat was ok
    John S.

Tasty but messy ToGo ! Wanted a pepperoni pizza, tried their HotHoney, which was absolutely TASTY and cheesy and the honey was a great addition. My family and I also enjoyed the garlic knots - COVERED in jarlic and cheese, had a nice crunch/browning on them, we also BYO buffalo chicken pizza and that was tasty. Was my first time going there , and saw they had a drive thru window for pickup. How convenient ! Never had there experience. The service from the fella at the window was nice and got questions answered. Was advised by him not to utilize/rely on the "busy days" of window pickup cuz of how busy it is, although people go to pick up pizzas, some go and place orders for a pizza and sit in line and wait, messing up the queue. Good heads up! HOWEVER. ABSOLUTE MESS. Was soooo greasy. I am lucky I have black leather interior in my car, however I can only imagine the frustration and mess the grease caused when picking up the pizza and transporting it home. Absolute POOL of grease in my car seat leeched from the box and collected on the seat. Just imagining the grease getting on upholstery or beige carpet.. ugh. lol

Huge thank you to Babbo's Pizza that fed three of our club soccer teams and their families while we at the annual Hershey Cup this year! I called a week early to discuss and they assured me it would be no problem. Ordering 22 pizzas, 18 tenders and fried, and 29 salads I assuming something wouldn't be right and wow I was wrong! They nailed the order and the fabulous staff helped me load my car so nothing would slide or spill. Everyone enjoyed the food, nothing was missed and not a single complaint. We look forward to going back next year :-)

About 2 hours later I got a call from a staff member who asked more ?'s, and then actually called 2 more times for further clarification. First off the restaurant is lovely! The staff is professional & extremely welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful & charming. They even have a copper pizza oven!! The Chef's wife makes a fresh sourdough bread that is delicious even without the fresh olive oil they normally they serve with it! We started with salads which were delicious & very fresh & crisp!! The chef had prepared us a special meal of fresh vegetables with a light wine sauce with spaghetti. Truly outstanding! We shared a lovely coconut sorbet that was a perfect way to end this amazing dinner! Thank you so much for making my birthday dinner extra special. Should you find yourself in the area you should definitely call for a reservation.

We opened our wine and poured it into the glasses. We waited for quite some time for our server. When our waitress finally came, she took our order. A little while later, the hostess brought us some rolls. We ordered side salads with our dinner with the house dressing. The dressing was very sour and each of our plates had puddles of red wine vinegar, making them almost inedible. I ordered the gnocchi with grilled vegetables. The gnocchi was okay, the grilled vegetables were great. My husband ordered a pasta with bolognese sauce., he was not impressed. While we were eating, a bus boy asked us if we wanted boxes. We weren't even halfway finished and said no thank you. Three minutes later, another bus boy came by and handed us boxes , again, and we said no thank you, we were still eating. Our waitress never checked on us until the very end to ask if we wanted dessert . Initially, we were going to order a dessert but we felt so rushed and the service was so poor, we just wanted to go. Our waitress brought the check, and we look at the bill and there is a $5.00 cork fee. We were surprised to see this because we opened and poured our own wine. Then, we look at the bill holder, and underneath our bill was someone else's bill and their credit card!! We looked forward to trying this restaurant but we were very disappointed with the service , the lack of attention to details and the food . Our first visit, will be our last -

And they didn't tell us the price of the special before and I should have asked. But I've never had a 50 dollar swordfish that's why I didn't ask. It's always busy there and it's good now, not great. It was very busy and we didn't have a reservation. They made adjustments to the seating chart and had us seated in 10 minutes. As someone who is dairy free, I asked if they would be able to make accommodations and they were happy to. We started with a bread basket. The bread came out warm which was perfect on a cold evening. Not to mention the oil was fantastic. Then, I ordered a chicken Marsala which the chef made dairy free for me. It came with a soup that was to die for (can't remember which kind). The portion size of the Marsala over linguini was huge and I was able to have leftovers for the next day. The wait staff were so kind and made you feel like family. Would definitely recommend Lazzaro's.

We were in more of a dining room mood but we weren't asked for our opinion and were taken to a high 2-person table in what we assumed was the pizzeria. I have a temperamental back, so these chairs were not going to work for me, so we asked to be relocated to a nicer table. We were shown to another table right away. Both the dining room and pizzeria were nearly full, and hopping with energy! Our expectations were high! Any restaurant that serves Guinness beer on tap earns a bonus star from me! Unfortunately, the flavor was a little off and I get the impression that not too many customers drink the Guinness. It struck me as beer that was a little past its expiration date. Thankfully our food was very good. Everything had a distinctive and agreeable flavor. Even the bread and olive oil had us cutting extra slices. I ordered the quattro formatti pizza and added bacon. It was as unique and tasty as it sounds. If you look closely at the picture you'll see that someone took a bite before I had a chance to photograph it. But apart from that, notice all the different colors and textures, which made for a nice, lively pizza. In the other photo you can see the chicken parmigiana, which they agreed to substitute Alfredo sauce instead of marinara. That was a delicious dish as well! We ended up way too full for dessert!! It's too bad because there were lots of interesting options to choose from. If we ever find ourselves in Mount Joy again we'll surely consider coming here again. The only thing that left a bad taste was the old-tasting beer.

My sandwich was great. Calamari was just ok! Not horrible just ok. Boneless wings were not good at all, hard and lacked sauce. Cheese steak that my other half order was strange more like chopped burger than steak! Disappointing visit will be quite a while before we return!!!
