Best IHOP that I've been to. I stopped going to IHOP about 2 years ago because food came to me cold and not very good. Just happened to give this one a try while on company business. Had the veggie omelet and harvest grain and nut pancakes, food was cold and fresh. read more

I believe what set chain restaurants apart is the service and this place definitely made a great impression. Our server Daniel offered perfect service and being very helpful or everything we needed. He was very personable upbeat and attentive. The manager Mohammad matched Daniel's excellent service and was also personable and made sure we had a great experience. I am not much of a chain restaurant person but those two made a amazing job of offering a unique experience that will definitely have me coming back and willing to try out other IHOPS. read more

Whenever I want to get take out they never answer the phone or it's always off the hook! It's so inconvenient to want take out but can't order it over the phone! They have got to do better! I complained plenty of times before. read more

I called to have my order ready for me when I got there. I was placed on hold. I live 5 minutes down the street and when I got there. I STILL had to wait. Three waiters walked by me and didnt say nothing to me and I waited 10 more m Never will I go there again!!! read more

Meat in my omelet had been cooked before. My wife had fish and chips. The fish must have been refrozen. Thankfully the filets were tiny. The service was very.good though. $1.99 for hot tea (2)and two "entrees" brought the bill to almost $25. I not not recommend this IHOP. read more

Yesterday I visited ihop hee in Edgewood , as a overroad driver we offen eat at alot of places along the highways and byways.....but overall this ihop seems to outshine them all ...guess its the management who does a fantastic job as seeing to the needs of its customers ..This is something that I feel has been lost over the past years .....I feel most food places are out to make a fast buck knowing that customers will come but really dont care while there in the location ...ive seen them sit and never aproach a customer if theres an issue but offen set rules to follow by its employees and not for the customers only to hurt them in long run ....not the case here the staff works well together there friendly polite and care too the needs of its customers ..as the management oversees it as well. ...this ihop is very clean and maintained and I recomend it .....directions ....just off interstate 95 exit 74 edgewood mountain rd exit take ramp towards edgewood , joppa past the wawa 2 lights to left onto us route 40 east about 1 mile on left next to bp gas station pretty big parking lot its easier to make the u turn at the light past it to the location which puts u back in direction to return back to 95 either north or southbound again .....enjoy crabcakerex21040@gmail.com. read more

Stopped by the good old IHop on the way to DC and was pleasantly surprised. My server was outstanding...great attitude, very attentive and great smile. Despite other people's complaints about bad service I never ran into that here. This place may not be spectacular but it's decent. It was clean, the staff was cheerful and helpful, our waitress checked up on us often, and the food was very good even compared to most IHOPs I've been to. I had a create-your-own omelette that was done perfectly! I heard rumors that they had changed management - maybe that's why service seems to have improved. read more

Rating declined over service. Food is still great. Past few weeks the wait staff has been huddling in groups joking around instead of asking how everything is or if you would like a refill. My wife got her food and her drink was empty didnt see our waitress come back until we were done. She kept cleaning tables while other waitresses were gathered together joking around near by. Absolutely disgusting place! Bathroom was filthy! Besides that, eggs completely undercooked, my husband found something in his pancakes, string or some kind of cloth. Send a email to cooperate and the owner of the store emailed me and said she talked to the general manager and they will work on improving! Pancakes maybe, waffles, no way.... I came here with my daughter for breakfast since the Denny's was being remodeled. She ordered french toast and bacon and I ordered a Belgian waffle. the food came and before the waitress left I simply said, no way. She stopped and looked quizzically at me. I could tell the waffle was wrong. I picked it up and it was limp and greasy and floppy. I pulled a bit off a corner and tasted it. I asked her if it seemed like it was supposed to be. I sent it back and when it came back, it was the same waffle. The cook apparently had just put it back into the waffle maker (remember that corner I broke off and tasted?). Bottom line was we went around a bit more and then I gave up and said I didn't want it anymore. The manager came over and said she was sorry and that I wouldn't be charged for the Waffle. HUH? that was it. Happily, the remodel over at Denny's is complete and this dump will fall off my radar! read more

Should have gone to Burger King for breakfast. They make it your way there.. Couldn't get a veggie omelet made my way. No onions and no cheese. Had to settle for spinach and mushroom omelette with no cheese. Omelette had no taste. Looked and tasted like they used artificial eggs. I ordered toast and it was cold. Service was just ok. Ugh. This place has gone way downhill these last two months. I don't know if they changed management or what happened but it's slowly becoming the new Friendlys in Edgewood with their customer service. When they first opened, it was booming. Waitresses were super friendly and attentive. I loved it here. But lately, my last 3 visits have just been a disaster. First off the staff. The visits I had the restaurant was half empty, yet it takes awhile to be seated 0_o? And the last time I literally walked out. Friday night, there were only 3 people eating inside but the hostess was talking to the 3 people in front of us. I had enough time to go to the bathroom and come back and STILL waiting to be seated! Then she sat them and was talking to them, while putting her hair in a ponytail! I said forget it and my family walked out. The time before that the waitress had the nerve to jack up our order and then "remind" me how to tip?! And then some sob story of how someone was sick blah blah blah, totally inappropriate! They're building a new Ihop in bel air and I might end up driving 15 min away just to get my pancakes, just so I don't have to deal with this mess read more

I've had bad experiences in the past with this location but decided to give it one last try. Sorry I did. I visited on 8/19/16 with my children. The restaurant had been updated since the last time I went however, the tables were not bused and there were dishes and food all over them. The restaurant was less than 1/2 full and most people were already eating. We were seated quickly by the host but he had to go get our waitress after I stared him down for 15 min. The waitress arrived with an attitude and took our orders. The drinks arrived quickly but after waiting 1/2 for our food we decided to leave. I don't understand what the problem was. The restaurant was no where near 1/2 full and there were lots of staff just standing around. All the waitress could say was "I'm so sorry". Never again. Save your time and go to the Friendly's 5 minutes down the street. Much better service with wonderful wait staff. This IHOP location does not even deserve 1 star. read more

My boyfriend and I went this morning and the food was great and our waitress was awesome! We will be going back!

Went in on a Saturday around 11am and expected a wait but we were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and I was impressed with her patience with our children (ages 10, 7, and 5) "being independent" and ordering their own food. Everyone was fine with their food. However, the omelette that I ordered with sausage, mushroom, tomatoes and American cheese was really bad. It had the sausage and mushroom on the inside with two slices of barely melted cheese and tomatoes plopped on top. The entire thing was nuke warm. I said something to the waitress who stated that the manager said that is the way it is prepared. I stated that I wasn't going to eat it and she went and got the manager to come to our table. I explained to the manager exactly how I thought an omelette should be made (ingredients on the inside, cheese melted and hot) and how I would like it. She took my plate away and came back about 10 minutes later with exactly what I asked her. The second time around it was delicious and I enjoyed it very much. Hopefully the manager took note as to how a customer would probably prefer an omelette. Other than that minor slip up that the manager did fix, our visit was great. read more
