Got their belly buster breakfast as I was super hungry. Two pancakes, 2 French toast, home fries, 3 eggs, 3 sausages, and 3 bacon for $16 currently. A heck of a price for so much good food. Went in before an event on a busy Sunday morning. Sat at the bar because tables were crazy busy, which USA good sign. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff was friendly, taking time to check in with us and get our drinks fast. The meal took a few minutes to come out, as expected due to the rush going on, but our server kept our drinks full and apologized even though none was needed. The other staff was also courteous, and it was fun to watch the attitude between the staff members. The meal was great, with the bacon, eggs, and pancakes cooked perfectly. The coffee was top notch. My partner and I came for lunch the other day as we were looking for a diner during a road trip on I-95. The place has good Yelp reviews. I can confirm the food is good. We each started with a cup of soup - one MD crab and one "famous" chili. Although we didn't see chunks of crab, there was a decidedly full crab flavor and the Old Bay seasoning enhanced -but didn't overwhelm - the crab flavor. There were vegis in the soup that were not mushy and added flavor and texture. Nice soup. Same with the chili. I was surprised (pleasantly) by how spicy the chili was. Not overpowering, but a decent kick to a tasty chili. I recommend. (I don't remember any cornbread with the chili. Either it was not memorable, or they didn't serve it to me.) I ordered the "senior" chicken parm. A ridiculously large portion, with a large, thick and juicy chicken breast, covered with lots of cheese in a decent red sauce. This was placed over an oversized portion of properly cooked spaghetti. Needless to say, I left a lot behind, but it was good and I would consider getting again. I took a bite of the garlic bread, which also was good. My partner's gyro was filled with gyro meat and I was told it was delicious. The service was quite good. Fast friendly service, good prices, good food. It has that old diner feeling and when you walk in, everyone greets you, kinda like going home. We've only been for breakfast, but no complaints! The basics are covered but I'd suggest a special. The Rte 40 Benedict is very savory and hits the spot. So does the fried chicken steak. If you check my review history, you will notice that I almost never give a bad review. It is hard to leave one, but it is warranted. While on long road trips, we like to try out new local diners. While in Aberdeen, MD, we decided to check this one out. We were seated quickly and our order was taken. The server was friendly and we got our breakfast. The place had an odor similar to if a cat was present in the establishment. The hash was very much like a sliced boiled potato. It was tasteless. The breakfast sausages were overcooked and reminded me of when I was microwave my frozen sausages for too long when I was a preteen. The egg was good. The toast was too, along with the coffee. After leaving the place, my stomach wasnt right for our entire trip back to Buffalo. One star for the reasonable price and one star for the service, but thats being generous. read more

As far as cheap eats go, this would be the spot but you get what you pay for. It is rare that I go to a place that struggles with breakfast. Two pieces of white toast with a little bit of butter slapped on them were served lukewarm. Chip beef breakfast was mostly sticky flour and had little taste. Both breakfasts, only half eaten due to poor quality, remained on the plate when the server cleared the table. She never bothered to inquire whether there had been a problem with the breakfasts. They don't have real butter or real syrup. Just hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup. I don't wanna know what other ingredients they're using in the back! The bathroom was dirty and the building is shared with a mechanic shop. My omlett was tasty, but everyone else at the table complained about their food being too tough, too salty, or just bad. My friend, her son, and I ate there. We all got ill. We had different dishes, though we all had eggs. Could've been contaminated ice in our ice water or dirty utensils that made us ill. Great menu with sausage or chipped beef gravy, plenty of omelette choices, pancakes, waffles, etc. Loved the whole scene here! Cool hearing wait staff greet folks by name as they walked in. When I move to a new place, one of the first things I need to do is find my breakfast spot. I like an old school, no frills, greasy spoon diner where simple breakfast food is done well. For Aberdeen, that is the Aberdeen diner through and through. The staff is as friendly as the ambience, you can feel the history of the building, the coffee is hot, and the food is exactly what you want it to be. I have order the same breakfast for 20 years no matter where I go: - 3 eggs over medium - sausage links - hash browns extra crispy with cheddar and jalapeño added - English muffin - black coffee It's been a great way to suss out the right spot. These guys nail it. The lack of a 5th star is to do with consistency.
