Potato skins and fresh hot rolls with cinnamon butter.

Everything came out nice hot and delicious! Our server was very attentive and we were seated in a comfortable atmosphere. This is by far the best Texas Roadhouse I have dined at thus far!

Lately this location hasn't been the best. One night my steak was rare when I asked for medium rare- regardless I still ate it because I didn't want to be a bother to request another. And I recently did carry out for a burger and the burger and fries were soo salty I couldn't even finish it. This location has always been busy. Parking can be difficult so I would suggest parking further away and walking.

Bar crew and kitchen are in sync! No long waits and the food is prepared well. Only suggestion/ request: the brewed tea is a little too watered down.

Excellent service, awesome happy hour, and tasty quality food. Thanks to Aldo for his patience, kindness, and taking good care of us! We enjoyed our tasty Long Island iced teas, fresh salad, buttery rolls, and well seasoned steaks.

We decided to stop in for dinner since our breakfast was not up to par. We checked in at the hostess stand and advised to stand in the blue zone. We were then taken to our seat, but the server found our table not clean and told us to give him a minute to take care of it. I excused myself to get cleaned up. I returned to the dining area to find hubby not in the section we were originally placed, but appreciated how fast they took care of us Our server was Kresta, who was a gracious server/ host. She was very attentive and very fast. Our drinks, peach iced tea for me, and unsweetened raspberry iced tea for hubby was served and refilled without any prompt. We both order 6 oz sirloin with variouhis sides and additional items, I had the grilled shrimp and he had the barbecue grilled chicken. My sides included side salad and baked potato, and for hubby he had the chili and mashed potatoes. I didn't realize till we got home, at how expeditious everyone was. We will definitely will back. Please keep up this type of service.

Decided to have a little "celebration" for a successful year end at our business. The good - attentive service. Called ahead and they held a table for 15 min until we arrived. Friday and it was packed. Cocktails good. Food, I've got some concerns. Appetizers - ordered cheesesteak eggrolls and octopus. Eggrolls were excellent. Octopus thought, I'm used to the presentation at Bacco's so I could do without it being cut into tiny pieces and buried in sauce. Salad - shared the kale salad. Great flavor but the ( wife's pet peeve when I serve it ), the kale was in very large chunks, could use a bit more chopping. Main Course - wife had stroganoff and I had the NY strip. I don't know what it is about Harford County but it's the last time I'll try to get a proper NY strip here. I should have known when it was only $52 on the menu. Steak & Main advertises "best steaks around" and serves the same 1/2" thin cut slice that looks like it came from Ponderosa but they charge $65 which is a ripoff. I like my steak rare and with a steak this thin, it's impossible but at least they were close. Again, stuff all over the top of the meat, a bit too much. Stroganoff - solid!! Dessert- Bananas Foster / solid!! My only gripe is the steak. We will be back for sure but I'm done trying to get one out and will just continue getting a nice cut from a butcher and treating myself at home.

Service is good and they are very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. Server very well acquainted with the menu and they even have specials off the menu. Menu doesn't have tons of choices, but makes sense when everything is prepared fresh and what is on the menu is done extremely well. First, drinks... yum! They have a terrific happy hour deal. That is worth a visit on its own. It's pretty spectacular and the drinks are great. The good news is you can get the HH without sitting at the bar. We had an Old Fashion, a Lemon Raspberry Martini, a Lemon Drop martini, a Sidecar, and a Carajillo. All were well made and delicious. The Carajillo was amazing - better than an espresso martini!! The food was wonderful. First course was the Baked Avocado, Cream of Crab soup, and the mussels which weren't on the regular menu as they were a special. The Avocado was fabulous and not too heavy. The mussels were in a delicious broth. Cream of crab was good but not worth the $21 a bowl (just average as you would get anywhere else). Second course was Filet Mignon, Shrimp and Crab, and House Made Pork Sausage Pappardelle. All were delicious and served with sides that elevated the flavors. The filet is a fav! The portions were a great dinner size and not overwhelmingly huge. We skipped dessert, but they were all great choices. We had previously had their s'mores which is a must try! They do have good coffee as well. Great location, intimate setting, nice people and a wonderful place to visit for a wonderful meal. Worth visiting. Be prepared as they are pricey (over $300 for 4 people). It's odd because their Happy Hour is just such a steal for the craft cocktails available (I guess gets you in the door). Perhaps sit at the bar for HH and just get drinks for a reasonable option. Maybe throw in a charcuterie board to snack on while enjoying the libations. For sure will be back.

They have a small menu, but sometimes that's nice not having to make so many decisions and usually that means the courses are quite good. I ordered the peartini, which was good but didn't have strong pear flavor. They brought out bread with our starters (3 pieces for 2 people - I never understand that!) which was tasty and my salad course was delicious. My husband really liked his soup too! For our entrees, he got the filet mignon which he said was excellent, but my shrimp and crab with gnocchi dish was disappointing. I think the sauce broke so it was swimming in oil. I tried to eat the pieces off the top and the shrimp were huge and gnocchi very soft and flavorful, but I couldn't get over the amount of oil. For dessert, he got the crème brûlée which he enjoyed and I got the s'mores. Mine was good, but the chocolate was very thick and heavy. I was hoping for a lighter mousse to end my meal instead. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed our date night out, but I think the food is a bit inconsistent.

If you didn't want the dessert you could order soup and salad. I ordered the beef short rib and had the beet salad as an appetizer. He had the lamb chops with a Caesar salad and Maryland crab soup. The appetizers were good and he enjoyed his lamb chops. My short rib was not that great. The meat had a ton of fat in it and overall was not my favorite. Unforgettable Milestone Birthday…read more Last night, we celebrated my husband's 75th birthday with a private dinner at The Milton Inn, and the evening could not have been more memorable. From start to finish, everything felt warm, personal, and flawlessly orchestrated by the entire Milton team. Felicia Gibbs, the Event Manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with. We first met in late summer to talk through the party, and she stayed in touch all the way up to the big night, answering every question quickly and handling every tiny request with ease. The restaurant was wonderfully flexible about last‑minute adjustments to both the menu and our guest count--even up to the day before--which took a tremendous amount of stress off my shoulders. Our private room was elegant and beautifully appointed, with all the historic charm that makes The Milton Inn such a distinctive setting. It felt cozy and welcoming while still special enough for such an important milestone celebration. The service team assigned to our group--Ed, Burke, and Rob--was outstanding. They were friendly, polished, and always seemed to appear exactly when someone needed something, without ever hovering or interrupting. They took especially thoughtful care of our guests with physical needs, and even details like coat service were handled so smoothly that everything felt effortless. The food was the star of the night. Chef Scanga and his team truly outdid themselves; our guests are still talking about the meal a day later. We began with cocktails and three chef's‑choice hors d'oeuvres, each one beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. For the first course, guests enjoyed a selection of salads and the classic onion soup gratinée--one of our personal favorites at The Milton. For the main course, guests chose from an 8 oz tenderloin in a rich reduction, pan‑seared halibut, or a roasted chicken dish, all cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Our two vegetarian guests were treated to thoughtful options, including a potato gnocchi with mushrooms and goat cheese fonduta that was clearly crafted as a true entrée, not an afterthought. Dessert was a custom red velvet birthday cake with buttercream frosting that was both gorgeous and irresistibly good. In addition to the food, the sommelier helped us select champagne and wines that paired beautifully with the menu while staying within our budget, which we really appreciated. For a group of this size, it is rare to experience food and service at such a consistently high level. The evening exceeded our expectations in every possible way. There is simply no other restaurant in the area that matches the Milton's historic atmosphere, thoughtful planning, gracious service, and extraordinary cuisine. Everyone we worked with--the event manager, the dining room team, the sommelier, the chef, and his kitchen staff--made us feel as if our celebration truly mattered to them. We left The Milton Inn feeling deeply grateful.

Just little things that all add up: Not being offered coat check though they have it, having to ask for butter to accompany the bread that arrived. Out of hand towels in the bathroom, (which has a very sad and beat-up toilet that should be replaced.) When I asked about these things, I will say they were addressed swiftly, but I shouldn't have to ask, since the bar was previously set higher. There seems to be a solid effort being put in by the staff; they are busy and very professional, I'm not knocking them at all. Sometimes things don't go to plan, but there is a definite shift from previous experiences. Do go and enjoy the food and drink. Hopefully staff and management can tighten up a bit to match the standard that returning guests are accustomed to seeing.
