The Fallston Texas Roadhouse is a well oiled machine. It is our favorite restaurant in the area because of their great service, great steaks, salads and baked potatoes and fair prices. It can be at little loud and some family members steer clear because of the noise level but we love the food and the staff. I'd like to start by saying I HATE to leave negative reviews, especially in this hard time while the restaurant industry is suffering. However, was SO disappointed last night. We chose TRH because my son got a coupon for a meal from his teacher and he was so excited to use it. At 6:19 we called and our family of four was "put on the list" and told to arrive in 34-50 minutes. We showed up and after an additional 30 min wait, we called and they said we were next. We were finally texted to come in at 7:56, before waiting for an additional five minutes in the vestibule and then being told it would be ten more. Unlike other customers (who cussed in front of my kids about the wait!) we were nice and explained we had already waiting more than twice the amount of time we were told. The girl just said something to the effect of "yeah, so has everyone else." Going out to eat is a very rare event for us, especially since the pandemic. We expect some hiccups. However, they have had MONTHS to iron their issues out. I do NOT mind waiting for service, especially when restaurants are trying their best. However, just be HONEST about the wait times! Continually saying "10 more minutes" when it isn't true just wastes my time. Wish I could have tasted some food to review, but we left at that point. read more

Awful experience through and through. Food service shouldn't be this complicated but this location found every way to drop the ball on customer service. I placed my order an hour and 49 minutes ago and I'm still sitting here waiting. When inquiring about the order I am only told that it isn't ready yet, no explanation or apology just brushed off. We went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate my mom's birthday and it was an awful experience. It started out with a rude host and then a server who was not friendly. We ordered our food and it took over a half hour to receive it, this was a nonbusy Monday evening. My mom and I both got chicken and it was so dry. The server never visited our table to see how everything was and we had to get another server to get him, just to get our check. Didn't even say "have a good night" or "thanks for coming in". This has became one of my favorite restaurants ever. Prices are super reasonable and the food is amazing. The 12 oz Ft Worth ribeye is so damn good. Melt in your mouth (medium rare). Honestly I've eaten at many high end steakhouses and paid 3 times the price for the steak only but seriously these are just as good. Horrible service. Food is cold all the time. This location cannot handle carry-out service and should shut it down. Our order was an hour and a half late. This restaurant has been in decline for awhile. Literally everything about it, service, food quality, portions, etc. About two years ago, I had food spilled on me and I got little more than an apology. Management was oblivious. Outside of our waiter on our last visit, who was simply great (and the reason for the second star on this otherwise one-star review), the whole experience feels like it's on the downward side at the moment. So we tried to book online. When we got there it was complete chaos at check-in. There were 4 employees at the front and all were talking amongst themselves as the entire waiting was pack with customers. We were told that even though we came at the time it stated for online check-in we still had 8 parties ahead! Never have we experienced anything like that at any other Texas Roadhouse. The food was , as to be expected for the Roadhouse, that's where the good part of this review ends . We were trying to have a early couples dinner after a long a*s work week. Let's start with the grub , the salad came out wrong , and then when I got my meal the baked potato was not right , think about that. It's a potato for goodness sake So. 1 out of 3 was correct ???? They also use call-ahead seating reservations, so make sure to call ~1-2 hours before arrival and you'll be seated in no time, regardless of how long the lines are! Food Overall: [8.5/10] Solid value for the price you pay. Peanuts: [10/10] They're free and can be found by the barrel (literally) at the waiting area. You can chuck the shells right onto the floor (kids love this) and can even take some to-go if you want. Every table also has them. Rolls: [11/10] I rarely eat the table bread but this is no ordinary bread. These are super delicious rolls baked in-house (you can see the raw dough in the kitchen). I always tell myself not to fill up on these guys but end up eating at least 2-3 before even the appetizers come out :P. FT. Worth Ribeye: [8/10] I think the quality of the cut has gone down slowly over the years but is still good. I always order medium and it's always cooked just right. All steaks come with 2 big-portioned sides. The chili, mashed potatoes, sweet potato, and steak fries are all recommended. BBQ Chicken: [6.5/10] BBQ sauce is decent but the chicken is nothing special, a little dry. Recommend sticking with the steak. First Post-Covid visit; last here in November 2019. Wednesday afternoon and there was plenty of room. Apparent upon entering, the peanuts have disappeared (blamed on Covid). Bagged peanuts might have avoided the virus problem. Sat at the bar and noticed the Margarita and beer specials had also gone by the wayside; however a new and very pricey drink menu was presented. Wife and I ordered the Beef "Tips" at $12.99 each. The Caesar salad was fine, once we requested additional dressing, as were the other side dishes. Now to these beef tips. Fully 1/4 of the two servings were inedible - fatty, gristly, and chewy. These beef tips are apparently composed of a lot of the beef trimmings rather than beef ends from various steak cuts. Pointed out the problem to the server and he did say had we told him sooner an adjustment could have been offered. We declined that and an offered take-home box - we're done with beef tips for a while. I would expect that the tips would have undergone better quality control before being offered to the customer. Yesterday I went and was already not having the best experience when on my way out a mouse ran from one of the ramps to under a booth. I only told one employee but realized I should have told a manager after I had left. The bread is ALWAYS hot and tasty. They have plenty of peanuts to eat while you wait for your table or food, so don't come here if you have any allergy to peanuts. I pulled up around 5:30 pm on a Sunday and was told there would be a thirty minute wait for my party of three which only ended up being a 15 minute wait. It was extremely crowded. Customers inside and outside waiting to be seated but I have to say the customer and staff were so polite even through the wait. They have peanuts you can snack on while you waited. We were seated at our table and Denali was our waiter. She was very attentive and polite. Thumbs up to Denali. She made sure that we had just what we needed from drinks to the food. I'm not a fan of chains restaurants but I love Texas Roadhouse. The food is always great, cooked to perfection, the staff always friendly and the price just right. The atmosphere is fun, especially if you get to embarrass your daughter on her birthday when they put you in a saddle and sing! I usually get the filet medallions over rice with a salad. This is enough food for three meals for me. As for a steakhouse, I've been to several and I have to say TRH is right up there with Flemings, Ruth's Chris and The Prime Rib. Let me start by saying. I love eating at this steak restaurant. I drove 90 min. to Pa. to eat in york. We tried this one in Fallston and was not at all happy. We asked for medium steaks and my wife had a pool of blood in the plate before she cut it. They took it back to refire it but left the sides sitting there getting cold. Then they bring the now well cooked steak back and then took the sides back to make them hot. My wife said she would eat the steak. When the sides came back they gave her the sides I ordered. We told them to pack the sides to go. I will be going to York until they get some of the problems worked out.I am giving 2 stars for poor service from both the waitress and the trainer. read more

After sitting and waiting at our table for approx 40 mins our meals finally came out except mine. The waitress had NO clue that I had NOT received my meal. After 5 extra mins or so I asked about my meal and a few mins later I was brought out a Cold bowl of Chili. Soo, let's disclaimer this thing first. I am not paid by or an employee of Texas Roadhouse. I rate based on my humble experience, nothing more. The steaks are good, the cook knows the difference between mid rare and medium. Kudos cook!! The cut was also nice, it seemed like a clean cut, good marbling with the fat made for a tasty medium steak. The corn was a little harder, and seemed precooked and warmed up. That's not a big deal for most people, it was sweet and sitting in the corn, water, butter and salt mixture. You do not get a spoon with your table so scooping it out with a fork and knife may seem difficult to some people. Regardless, the main part (steak) was cooked right. NO NEED FOR A1 PEOPLE!!! It has and comes with its own juices. Ohh yeah, the Cesar was good as well. Now service. I will not be able to say enough about my service. It was SPECTACULAR!!!! Mindy was my server so Mindy, this one's for you. She has a southern accent, great for a Texas style place. Her accent isn't the reason for the review but was an added bonus that matched perfectly with the style of restaurant Texas Roadhouse is. She explained the house to a first timer. I had no empty on my table at any time. 2 tea refills, bread rolls a plenty, my salad plate and steak plate were taken within seconds of me finishing. This kind of service is hard to find. She was attentive and even asked if my steak was cooked right. She asked how everything was and continued to bringing me tea and rolls. Last Christmas we bought numerous gift cards because of an offer of Spend $100 on Gift Cards and get "Free Appetizers for a Year". We bought the gift cards and received the card. The first time we went to use the alleged "Free Appetizers for a Year" card, we learned that it is NOT "Free Appetizers for a Year", but only ONE free appetizer per MONTH, and it is only good for a Maximum of $7.00 per use ! That is a far cry from "Free Appetizers for a Year". To rub salt into the wound, tonight we went to Texas Roadhouse for Dinner and wanted to use the card for the "Grilled Shrimp, which cost $6.99, and were told that shrimp is a "Protein" and we could no longer use the card for the grilled shrimp appetizer. Texas Roadhouse is making up reasons to NOT Honor their offer of a "Free Appetizer every Month", even though it should really be Free Appetizers for a Year. Texas Roadhouse is such a nostalgic place for me since I used to be a regular in college. We drove pass this store on our way back from a hike and decided to give it another try (my friend has never been). As always there was a line. They gave us a pager then we waited in the "peanut room" for around 10 min until we were arranged for a table. The complimentary sweet bread roll was as good as I remembered. It has that "underdone" texture which is soft and buttery. Paired with the whipped cinnamon butter, it is easily my all-time favorite restaurant bread roll. We started with the combo appetizer (baked potato skin, fried pickle, and chicken tender) it was good but I do not recommend. A little too grease for an appetizer, nothing special and it was not worth the price. The sirloin was cooked to median rare as I asked for, some grill marks on the meat but I was expecting more char on the meat to give it extra crispy texture and more flavor. I like the side that came with my protein as always. Huge portion size (lots of leftover) and good flavor. Very friendly and attentive service! read more

I don't like to leave bad reviews but the service my family and I received here was horrible. Not only was the staff rude, they were not accommodating to someone in our family with a wheelchair. When we explained to them that we couldn't sit at the booth they put us at (because there was no space for a wheelchair) the girl at the hostess stand said "oh well then I guess we can't seat you". The manager then offered barely any help. The staff here pretty much laughed in our face over the fact that we were upset no accommodations could be made for someone in a wheelchair.
