8/10/2026 I was happy with this visit overall service from Jeremy was great food was solid. It's self seating choose indoor, outdoor or even the bar wherever comfortable. We started with drinks a blueberry lemon crush and a cranberry mule which I recommend adding a bit more ginger beer it wasn't fizzy enough. The crab dip was absolutely amazing pipping hot and complimented with that pita it was hard not to finish it before the entrees came out. I got the coconut shrimp with a side ceaser ( it was well dressed but seemed watered down and not thick like dressing should be) and the Mac and cheese ( 100% would not recommend had 0 flavor). The second entree the seafood platter crab cake and fried shrimp were great. We got another round of drinks the key lime crush was exactly what I thought it would be and the espresso martini was super strong. Great menu, prime location, scant service. Had a broiled crab cake with onion rings and a mildly spicy seafood sauce. Be assertive to receive table service. Five out of six staff ignored me. I had to walk up and ask the waitresses for a check. One server was pleasant. People at the bar seemed to receive good service. This may be why there were empty tables in good weather on a Saturday night. A pity: it is three minutes from the interstate. And ten minutes' walk from five good hotels with about a thousand guests! read more

My wife and I tried this restaurant while passing through town on vacation. If you want to be treated with kindness and spoken to with upmost respect this is the place to go. I would take my family, I would meet friends for lunch, or just stop in for a friendly conversation with a great meal. This is the impression I left with. The restaurant was very clean and in order,the food was amazing, and the service was second to none. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone in the area. We were skeptical about the whole idea of eating at a PUB as where we are from a PUB is not a family restaurant. This is. Ps: I'm not going to try and describe the crab cakes. We stopped by for lunch. They were busy on the day we visited and the service was a little slow as a result. The nachos were underwhelming. We paid extra for chicken but the serving was pretty skimpy. The protein in the chef salad is basically sandwich cold cuts sliced up and placed on the salad. We've been doing carry out from here recently. The food is always good. The ambience is warm, the staff always friendly. Today during pick up, they had just been slammed with a large group, and sudden influx, they still took out time to try to call me with a question about the order, then confirmed it when I got here. Like most places with an open setting, busy can also mean loud, so I'm glad we're getting the food to go today. Highly recommend their wings, appetizers, and I love their BLTs. Convenient to our hotel. Food was ok. I asked for mozzarella on my Philly steak and got provolone. It was tasty, but not what I ordered.

Food is subpar to say the least. Waitress doesn't care. Owner came by the table and all he said was he was sorry. That's it. No offer to get you something else or take anything off the check. Crab soup was SOUR, IMITATION crab cake full of filler. Crab pretzel cold lump of cream cheese with no flavor. After trying one bite of each dish and letting my date try it we just left that food. I mean, it's ... fine. Look. If you are going to drink, it's good. They have good drinks. But the food? Nah. The crab dip is fine, but nothing to write home about. I got the seafood platter. This is $38 on the menu. The fried haddock was cut thin and was dry. The crab cake was so mid, I didn't eat more than a bite of it. Crab! How do you mess up crab?! By seasoning it badly, that's how. The fried shrimp? You know those little flat fried shrimp you get on a cheap Chinese buffet that you know are frozen and more bread than shrimp? It's that. For $38. The rosé pasta was okay. Again, nothing to write home about. The shrimp in it was actually delicious! But the sauce ... fine. I guess. I had two back to back meals here while staying at a nearby hotel. It's a very nice and welcoming looking place inside. The bartenders were all very friendly. I sat at the bar. I had a couple Tito's and soda and then I ordered the crab soup & the house salad with a broiled crab cake. They brought a fried crab cake and I had ordered the broiled, so they apologized and they did exchange that for a broiled crab cake which took about 10 minutes but I was not in a hurry. The following afternoon I returned & had 2 Loose Cannon IPA's. I appreciated that they give you a frosted glass with your bottled beer. I ordered the Chesapeake burger with no bun and instead I added it to a side salad and they gave me a bowl for the side salad instead of a plate which was nice. That burger was delicious because it is topped with a crab dip and then a slice of cheddar with lump crab meat on top. I also had another bowl of the Maryland crab soup, which is very good. There is a private parking lot out front with plenty of parking. I would definitely eat there again because they have a very large menu with lots of choices. I would not hesitate eating a lunch or dinner here if I was staying in one of the local hotels. Be advised that there is a credit card surcharge so it is cheaper if you pay by cash. read more

Great service. My son and I visited this restaurant while in town for a soccer tournament. He has some food allergies so I called ahead to see our options. The individual I spoke with confirmed he could eat the chicken tenders/fries and went as far as texting me a picture of the package so I could double check the ingredients! Above and beyond service. This place was so good to us. There were 40+ of us in town for a soccer tournament. They gave us a separate room and took our orders by kid jersey for separate checks. Not sure what I was expecting when I came here but I typically have good luck with pubs when it comes to eating and drinking. We were immediately greeted upon entry and I'm glad because I'm not familiar with this area so I didn't know what I was walking in to. The vibes were typical pub vibes, a decent size bar and overall dining area. We sat at the bar assuming it was happy hour and we wanted to see what was offered. Even tho the menu was extensive, their happy hour was more like "small discount hour" with items being a few dollars off. We opted to just order as usual with two Cadillac margaritas that were great sizes and strong! I ordered the Maryland cream of crab soup which was just ok, a blackened chicken Ceasar which was AMAZING and huge! I think I loved the fact that the chicken was just as much as the romaine, I ate the whole thing. Needless to say I'll be back here, the salad and 15.00 drinks sold me. Stopped in for a drink. Had a Manhattan (neat - no Luxardo cherry here) and a Paloma. Both were good, however they were pricey ($14 each - not bad for the Manhattan). Bartender Kevin was beyond friendly and thanked us for coming in as soon as we sat down. We didn't order food, but everyone around us had good looking dishes. Seems like a local/regular crowd as many at the bar were friendly with one another. Lots of parties came in while we were there. Very nice restaurant with outdoor seating. Nice to support local establishment. Would return for the service alone and the good looking food. Worth a try! read more

General atmosphere for a pub. Beautiful sunny day so I opted to sit on the patio. A little warm since they still had the patio window areas closed. Still nice to be outside. The server was very pleasant and attentive. Cream of crab soup was delicious. I had a side salad - that was not very impressive and there was a glaring bad spot on the sliced cucumber. The seared tuna appetizer was great. Heavy handed on the blackened seasoning but I enjoyed it none the less. I will go back if in the area again. read more

Riverside Pub is the place to be for a leisurely lunch or a night out. The staff is fantastic, food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. There's a private room area that's a hidden hot spot in Harford County! I threw my husband a surprise birthday party, and the staff really brought their best forward to make it an unforgettable evening. Dana is my go to person, and an outstanding person. She helped me order the perfect amount of food, and they were very flexible. Don't let the size of the room fool you; we had 50 people in the room and it was a great fit. We're trivia night fanatics on Thursdays, and that group has become a really fun crowd to hang out with. Riverside Pub is our favorite spot for sure!e read more

Although our server was wonderful, there were three things that were negative. #1, another place that wants me to pay their processing fee to use my credit card to buy something from them. I dine out regularly and most restaurants are not pushing this charge on their customers. #2, when my burger arrived it was only luke warm and made me think that's the way fast food places cook their burgers and then keep them under a heat lamp to stay warm. #3, someone ordered their Salmon dish.
