i stopped by on a monday to take advantage of the .99¢ wing special, and it definitely did not disappoint! i ordered a strawberry crush (more crush than strawberry, if you know what i mean ), a half dozen large male crabs , and 10 wings--5 buffalo and 5 thai chili. everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely DELICIOUS! my friend and i sat at one of the high-top tables by the bar, and we had such a great time! the atmosphere was relaxed, the food came out great, and i honestly don't have a single complaint. the wings were flavorful, and the crabs were so good that i've been thinking about them ever since i left (8 days later). i'll definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a fun, laid-back dining experience! read more

Service here is always good. Most of the food is good and Steamed Crabs are great but they now charge extra for dine-in which makes no sense at a crab restaurant. I won't dine-in for Crabs here again. Avoid the soft crab sandwich though. If you ask for breaded, it is so thick you can't taste the crab inside. We stopped here for a drink and some apps. It was very busy and smelled delicious like old bay, but there are a lot of bar seats and we were able to grab some right away. The bartenders were friendly and quick to take our order. We ordered crab balls and crab and scallop eggrolls and thought they were over-priced, greasy, and just ok. Crabs, check! Hush Puppies, check! This was a great start. Conrad's in Abingdon, a bustling restaurant featuring seafood was all we had expected. We had to wait five minutes on a Thursday afternoon, only because there was a very large group taking up an entire room. The hostess and our server Riyah (forgive me if I spell her name wrong) were both pleasant and attentive. For appetizers we shared Fried Calamari, cooked perfectly, not anywhere near the rubber bands you get at some places. We also shared hush puppies with hot honey sauce. Hot honey sauce seemed odd to us to have with hush puppies, so we had it on the side, along with powdered sugar. What a pleasant surprise. Cooked to perfection, soft with a crisp outside. Nicely done. For main course I had fried oysters, something not often found where I used to live. Fried well, not a hint of grease with good cocktail sauce along with fries and Cole slaw, sweet with just enough celery seed. My wife had a half dozen large crabs (males) and she was in heaven. Done well with old bay...I know to bring a book, because she takes her time savoring these well done Maryland Blues. The manager stopped by to chat and he was a pleasant personable fellow. Another note, considering the kitchen was taxed with a large group luncheon, our meals were not delayed. This is a good sign when the restaurant is busy. Recommended! read more

We drove 50 minutes to get here, after sitting, be told there were no crabs available Meanwhile, the table next to us received crabs, and we were told theirs were "reserved." If that is the case, you should clearly mark all menu items as "reserved only" to avoid misleading customers. The service was also very poor. We ordered oysters, but no one came to clear our table for over 30 minutes. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, we left 18% for tips (not deserves) but will not be coming back. read more

First time eating Conrad's crabs and first time for the AYCE during Ravens game. Crabs were great. Mixed sizes but all of the were heavy, often at other places AYCE are smalls and you get a fair amount of light ones. Have to say , the seasoning is different but we all really liked it. you know we love a good bar seat and that's exactly what we received at Conrad's. found on Yelp on our way to the airport we pulled in for a quick lunch stop. it was early so we were seated right away but reservations are accepted at this " sports bar" location. following drinks i had the admirable clipper and he had single crab fluff. we both agreed the crab fluff was beyond good as was the shrimp salad on my sandwich. we dismantled the sandwich and enjoyed the crab cake and shrimp salad with the toast. both entrees were served with a fabulous slaw. Wes , the bar tender / server was extremely helpful with recommendations and mixing our drinks just the way we like them. this won't be our last stop at Conrad's! read more

Food was so yummy. We were a party of 16 and tried a variety of items on menu. I think the drunken captain, crab cake drenched in crap sauce was 10/10. The crabs were so delicious. We went for lunch at the start of Harford Restaurant Week 2026. The menu is attractive & the food was excellent. The Deviled Egg starter was really tasty. The salmon on pastrami was light and really good, as well. For main course, two good recommendations are the Gunner Santa Fe chicken wrap & the Commander. Both are very fresh, big & filling. The Gunner is salty. The Commander is a wrap in a naan. The naan were soft & fresh-made. The yellow tuna filling is a very tasty tuna salad. The Commander is superb. For desert, the Tiramisu is hard to beat. It's very moist. We were well served by Courtney, who couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. After living in Bel Air for over 12 years, I can't believe we've never tried this place before. Tonight, we finally came in for dinner with our grumpy pre-teens, and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise and they were even pleasant when we left. Tina, our server, was absolutely amazing. She was patient with our kids, made sure everyone was happy, and shared so much great info about the restaurant's activities and menu. She even guided my husband through his first oyster experience--she really knows her stuff! For appetizers, we tried the mix of cream of crab and Maryland crab soup, which my husband really enjoyed. The crab ball appetizer was a hit too--four crispy balls filled with sweet, tender crab meat. The spicy sauce it came with was just the right level of heat. It sat atop a small salad, which could've used a little more balsamic drizzle, but it was still tasty. For the main course, we were all impressed. The fish and chips were crispy and delicious, the coleslaw was light and crunchy, and it also came with fresh, hot fries. My son devoured his steak. I opted for the crab cake, which came covered in cream of crab soup with a side of creamy spinach risotto. It was rich and filling--so good I had to bring the leftovers home! My husband ordered the stuffed shrimp and kept saying, "How have we never eaten here before?" For dessert, we had the cheesecake, which was decent, but the chocolate bomb brownie with ice cream stole the show. It was a perfect combo of cake and fudge, served warm with high-quality ice cream and whipped cream--definitely worth every calorie! The drinks were a mixed bag. The margaritas were a bit too sugary for my taste, but they definitely packed a punch. The Bloody Mary was a miss, though--skip that one. The crushes, however, were amazing and worth every sip. The restaurant is well appointed. Great open patio. Servers are lovely. But.... Not so much the food. Fish and Chips are soggy and greasy. They do have good Maryland crab soup. Oysters Rockefeller and Chesapeake are great. The French onion I would give a miss. The shrimp salad is terrific. I did not have crabs. Next time. Their menu is really full of plenty of raw and cooked seafood. It's worth another try. Just skip the fish and chips. read more

I came here with my family a few weeks ago and we had such a lovely time. The waitress explained to us how to break open the crabs and gave us good drink suggestions. The crab cakes were pretty big! I got the codzilla and I loved it so much. The stuff with it was so good, and the slaw was the best I've ever had. They give you free popcorn with your meal. The crushes are great. For crabs it takes about 25 minutes for them to have them all set and ready for you. They look so good. Prices on crabs change during the week and weekend. So it's best to check online for the prices if you're not sure. They also have a hand washing sink in the middle of the restaurant. Outside they have a little kids play place. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of merch to buy. It's a nice spot to come with friends and family. read more

Conrad's at this location is typically my go-to place for all things seafood. That said, as a novice crab eater, I found the overall experience to be FANTASTIC!! The food was fresh and flavorful, with perfectly seasoned crabs that were worth every bite. I paired them with a fresh salad and creamy Parmesan risotto!! Both also were yummy! The server (unfortunately I don't remember his name), but he was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. He anticipated all of our needs refilling butter and offered vinegar as an additional accompaniment. The ambiance was warm and inviting. My only "gripe" would be the area is often dark and with my husband being legally blind, it's a little problematic.
