Pretty good French Onion soup. Burger is awesome and always cooked to perfection. Service is challenging at times especially when you arrive and sit bar side at 4:30pm just before the dinner push. The lady's running the show are pleasant although what's not pleasant were the bar flies. We were pestered by 2 or 3 insects that stole some of our relaxation. My wife and I were out and about and checked on Yelp as the location of a good place to eat while visiting Aberdeen Proving Ground. Bushmill Tavern came up so we made the drive. Must say that we were impressed overall with the food and the service! A great little spot off the beaten path with mostly locals. My wife and I truly enjoyed it! I ordered their classic Caesar salad with seared tuna well my wife ordered their buffalo chicken quesadilla and duck fat tots. The food came out relatively quickly and was absolutely delicious. The bartender also knows his way around the classics as well! If you're in the area, give them a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

I have been here a few times in the past few years and everytime the experience is less than the time before. Its usually ice cold in the place and if there's more than 5 people its crazy loud. Typically 1 server for the dining area. Had a hair at the bottom of our nacho plate, dont go if you are in a rush. read more

We heard good things about the burgers at Bushmill Tavern, so we took a random ride out there to see what it was all about. It was bustling with a large crowd when we came in on a Saturday afternoon. The one server, Ginger, was also hosting and swamped by the crowd, but she really worked magic and provided great service all on her own! She deserves to be recognized. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak which I cannot give a great review because the bread was hard and it literally had the smallest amount of meat I have ever seen on a sub. They were very slick about it, loading the bottom of the sub roll with the toppings and laying about 4 chunks of meat mixed with cheese on top. We have been going to Bushmill Tavern on Tuesday's for dinner snd bingo for months. We enjoy the casual funand the great food. The last couple of Tuesday's the restaurant has been understaffed leading to delays and mistakes. This past Tuesday we watched a single server, Franki, struggling to deal with the full restaurant completely on her own. She worked hard but being the only person working there were long delays compounded by mistakes in both the kitchen and bar. Overall the experience was not pleasant. read more

If I could I would give it -10 stars. This is the worst bar I've ever been to. I came for karaoke a few times and every single time the hostess was rude. She tried to tell us we couldn't sit at the bar because it's where the "regulars" sat. When we finally were seated we waited over an hour to be served by the hostess and a waitress who kept screaming at us "what do you want". We finally got our food after an hour and a half. It was overly salty and lukewarm. For the price it's not worth it at all. The bar is dark so photos were pointless. The hostess continued to yell at us when we asked to get our check since our waitress disappeared when we just wanted to leave. The karaoke DJ is also a massive jerk. We asked where we were in the queue because we wanted to leave after we sang. But we left when he snapped at us that he hated being asked that question. Somebody told me that if I wanted a burger I had to go Bushmill Tavern so I did. My family and I took that 25 minute drive into the unknown. When we pulled up, there was a big parking lot with a quick bop to the door. When we got inside, we weren't immediately acknowledged and got a little worried. Soon after we met the nicest lady that took us to a table on the back, I'm glad we sat back there because the front being a bar and all was a little noisy. Of course I had the burger and I wasn't disappointed at all. The fries were hand cut and came out nice and hot. The wings were perfectly flash friend. They were flavorful and crispy. I would have preferred a little more sauce but I know that's based on preference. The bang bang shrimp were quite tasty and I loved the pita chips they came with. My mom gave feedback that the subs didn't have enough meat but was pretty good otherwise. Sam's for the captain crunch chicken tenders. Although we've ordered from Bushmill a few times now it had been some time so we decided to order takeout on a Saturday night. This time we decided to try the Chesapeake Burgers and Chicken Nachos for starter. The Nachos are probably better for dine in. Would recommend ordering the cheese on the side for takeout as chips were soggy when we got home shorty after. The Chicken wasn't really seasoned. We wouldn't order this starter again. The Chesapeake Burgers were cooked as ordered (medium) & the beef was tasty. Crab cake (looked to be fried) was okay and unfortunately was over cooked. The duck fat fries were as good as I remember them. Seasoned just right! We've also ordered the Hangover Burger on previous visits and this is our favorite burger. Staff has always been courteous. I want to start this off by saying this is a divey bar with outstanding food! The bartenders and wait staff have always been excellent. The food is on point! The fries alone are worth a trip. Why the 4stars? The place needs a facelift. I get the charm of a dive bar. We've battled gnats, heat (AC wasn't working) and this most recent trip a very fowl odor. I really think all the plumbing needs to be addressed, some paint, brighten the place up a bit. Would we go again? Of course, this is a go to place for us. Most inclusive dive bar in the tri-county region. I love coming here for my first drink of the day at 11am. One time, I tried to pick a fight with some of the bikers, because being in a bar brawl is on my bucket list, but I was disappointed when the bar tender said no, this isn't that kind of place. Our server was PHENOMENAL, so funny and friendly (I unfortunately don't remember his name)!! The location and restaurant is very unsuspecting, but really surprises you with how delicious everything is! We got the duck fat fries, stuffed mushrooms and captain crunch tenders & ALL were delicious! And I personally got a BLT which was BANGING, although I wish I would've subbed out the normal fries for duck fat fries. Everything was okay, order wings to go. Price on the menu is $10.99, price on the check $15.99! When we asked the server, she said yes the prices went up. I understand prices change, but change the menu to reflect this. It was complete sticker shock. I was told the price on the separate specials menu indicated a price change and they were working on getting new menus. I was under the impression when I order something off a menu the establishment hands me, it wouldn't include price sabotage.
