We visited on a Saturday after hiking king and queen seat, it was very busy so we had a wait of approx 30min. The neighborhood is cute. There are cute little shops nearby, you can distract yourself with while you wait. Food was decent standard diner food, and there are a few vegan, vegetarian options. We were a little disappointed there were no mimosas, but still had an enjoyable time. Service was wonderful, and the staff was super attentive. Stopped in for breakfast early one Sunday. The food was good the coffee was just okay. The server was not welcoming when she learned I was dining alone. There was a three percent surcharge added to my check. I didn't question it but this was before they knew if I was using a card so I am not sure what this is for. Last, I am vegetarian and there were no egg, toast, home fries options that didn't include breakfast meat. For me, there are better options in Bel Air and I won't go back. read more

The Cafe is very small. if you have a party larger than four do not go without a reservation. waiting can be long and requires that you stand in a small hallway way out behind the restaurant. disabled folks will not be able to handle the weight especially if they need to sit down. do not by the lump crab meat omelette! it is definitely not made from lump crab meat more like claw meat. my omelette was so thin and only had tiny little pieces of meat inside that was very bland. for the price I paid I should have just gotten the big crab cake and threw it on top of my omelette and gotten better price. read more

I had to look on the menu to see what type of potatoes came with our meals, as the hard white potatoes you can see in the photos are not something I would call home fries. Visited here for the first time on yesterday which was Saturday. They weren't taking reservations and it's a small spot. So there was a wait of about 30 mins which we were ok with. The service was great and we enjoyed our food. I ordered the Florentine crepe which came with mixed greens that had a dressing on it. I really enjoyed the dish. My friend ordered chicken and French toast. They allowed her to do French toast instead of waffles. She really enjoyed it. We also had the avocado toast with a fried egg instead of with the egg that normally comes with it. We both thought this dish was very tasty as well. My friend also ordered orange juice and she said it was very good. Overall this was a great visit and my friend was very happy that they were willing to accommodate changes to the dishes. On the weekends there is free street parking in the area. There is also a nearby garage with free parking on the weekends and also in the evenings during the week. If the restaurant is on your right when you past it make a right turn on Courtland and the garage is straight ahead on the left. This is a real convenience. read more

I enjoyed their help and service. The location is cute and cozy, and I liked how clean it was despite the exposed kitchen. My friends got the different breakfast plates but I missed the avocado toast, so I decided to give it a shot. I was expecting veggies without adjusted flavor on top of a thick layer of mashed avocado on a thick slice of sturdy bread all tucked under a sunny side up egg. What I got was salsa with hot sauce on a thin layer of avocado on a thinner slice of overly toasted bread with an over easy egg on top. So, after I removed the salsa and hot sauce, it wasn't familiar but it was edible. Next time, I'll stick to the American breakfast and not go for what I felt was a safe dish. The Nutella with banana crepe was the best, though the crepe was a bit thick and not as delicate as a crepe ought to be. read more

This café seems to be so very busy. The line wraps around the building. We were seated, and our servers were able to bring water straight to the table, no problem. It was a bit of a longer wait for the food because it was so packed but it tasted very dry like they didn't use butter on the griddle. I got a BLT, which was fine just kind of dry. The French toast is huge so prepare yourself very filling overall, I probably come back and try something else because they have such a big menu. Less than one star. Customer service sucked big time. All workers more concerned with getting home than actual customers. We are on the road traveling from Washington DC to NY. Looked for a place to eat and came up with Sunny days. Drove 15 minutes off the freeway and arrived at 2:25. Looked around for somebody to seat us. Waited some minutes while deciding whether to sit inside or outside. Finally somebody comes up to us and tells us that they stop seating at 2:30. I mention that it's 2:30 now and they agree and say that they aren't seating us despite the fact that we actually arrived before 2:30. Since the restaurant actually closed at 3pm , it's extremely poor customer service. We are tired, hungry and came a long way based on yelp reviews so adding our yelp review as well. read more

My favorite brunch place! I'm always so excited to go here. During warmer season, they have outdoor seating in addition to indoors. They don't accept reservations but the wait is usually 20-30 min long, which isn't too bad because you could walk around the shoots in Main Street to kill time. Avocado toast is my go to here but everything else I've tried has been yummy. Came into Sunny Day Cafe around 12 and it wasn't too busy. The waitress was very attentive and managed to remember all the flavors they had for their iced coffee! It was very shocking someone could remember all of their flavors. I decided on the nutella crepe with strawberries. It was amazing! The fruit seemed fresh and the crepe was perfect! The iced coffee was also to die for, I got the smores flavor. The environment of the cafe was so welcoming and have an at home feeling. My boyfriend and I have definitely made this our new spot for date day's! It is so nice to see spots like this around the time of bel air. The prices are also very good. Such a quaint and comfortable little breakfast & lunch restaurant in downtown Bel Air. We had to try their crêpes! Absolutely loved them and can't wait to visit again. We also had some hot chocolate. We were so happy to watch them as they made the crêpes up for the day and then also be able to watch as ours were constructed. So fun! Their Crêpe Master is truly talented at making them. He was an absolute delight to both talk with and observe. Only points for improvement that I would note would be the cleaning and organizational habits. The counter was a bit crusty from the residue left by the cleaner and streaks were visible and able to be felt.
