We visited the DeLand IHOP recently. I was craving something warm that would hit the spot. I ordered biscuits and gravy. My husband got the bacon eggs Benedict. You can always rely on IHOP. The lobby is clean. The servers are friendly.

Hard to beat " just what pancakes" Hubby had the Colorado probably one of the best ones he has eaten. Our server Cynthia is great. Everything was clean for a change. We have been to some IHOP's that needed a good cleaning. We will be back on our next trip

Strawberry Lemonade ( strawberry water ) & water

This morning my boyfriend and I went to Ihop. We Ordered what is in the photos however, *cough cough*. We received strawberry water instead of lemonade ( our waitress thought we were stupid or something), my chicken strips were burnt and dry. My fries were stale, and my boyfriends French toast was missing the glaze on top but apparently Ihop was out of lemon, glaze, Buffalo sauce, and so much more. I work with food as well and with the amount of things that they didn't have plus the poor cooking, I was disappointed. Better luck next time I guess.

Typical Ihop. It is an American style resturant known for its breakfast items. Breakfast items are available all day which is a plus. This is the first time I have been to the one in Deland. It is on the small side a little dingy. Our waitress DD was super nice and cool and provided excellent service I had the country fried steak and eggs which also comes with hash browns and choice toast or pancakes. I would say they are about 11 to 12 dollars a person. I can do IHOP anywhere anytime though. They are not fine dinning but they are good dinning

I mean look, it's a damn IHOP. What could you possibly expect? At its best it's a corporately branded diner. At its worst...let's not go there. We pull up and the majority of the wait staff is outside smoking. That both serves to remind that yes, you're in the south and that yes, the place is really that dead. Fortunately another family comes in with us so the staff is actually forced to kick things into gear. You know, a busser-four servers-three kitchen staff for three occupied tables. It was almost a 1:1 ratio of staff to paying clients. Our server was decent. Far less gruff than two of the others even though we had to ask her three times for a fourth place setting of silverware since apparently here all of the booths only get three place settings. The food itself was rendered in about fifteen minutes. Nothing noteworthy, just the usual array of breakfast stuff like sausage, scrambled eggs and various pancake combos some of which should come with an insulin chaser as the chocolate/fudge/mousse/tort/drizzle/slather is a bit shall we say... extreme. Other little weird quirk here is the layout. You walk in the front door and there isn't really a waiting area. The register is to the right and straight in front of you is the heat lamp window staging area where the cooks place the completed orders. It's like walking right into the back of the kitchen. All good and all done in maybe 35 minutes. Nothing great but nothing terrible either. The prices are more or less reasonable and it was close to the hotel. Perfect for what we wanted.

What can l say about IHop, besides l love their pancakes!! No matter what l order l always get a side of pancakes. Rather l eat them now or later, they're even good reheated. Well onto my Beef Tips prepared medium. Were very good, they had a sweet savory taste. Steak sauce wasn't needed. Hashbrowns good and crispy just like l like them. All in all my IHOP experience was nice. Can't wait until we get back to condiments being on the table though.

Pancakes were doughy. Also for $2.44 I got an 8 oz diet coke and the waitress did not refill or check back ....at all.

The ambiance was inviting, stylish, and felt like the perfect setting for a weekend experience with friends. The food overall was good. The shrimp and grits were definitely the highlight for me full of flavor and well done. The steak, however, wasn't my favorite and didn't quite hit the mark. The fruit bowl was exactly that fruit in a bowl nothing special but fresh. The banana pudding was delicious and a sweet way to end the meal. The service was a bit inconsistent, which I believe was due to the waitress being very busy. There were a few moments where we waited longer than expected for menus, straws, or even water. While noticeable, it didn't completely take away from the experience and felt more like a staffing issue than a lack of care. Overall, I would absolutely return for brunch with friends. The atmosphere alone makes it worth another visit, and with the right company, it's a great spot to enjoy a relaxed and beautiful brunch experience.

For appetizers, we tried the coconut shrimp, Table tots, spinach dip, and charcuterie. Everything was fantastic except the shrimp, which were a bit overcooked. The rest of the starters were flavorful and well prepared. Most of our group ordered the NY strip since they were out of the filet, while others chose the meatloaf, mushroom pasta, and a few other dishes. Portions were generous and the food was tasty. While the strip wasn't the best I've had, it was cooked perfectly. Dessert was a bit hit or miss. We tried all the pies -- most were decent and nicely presented, though nothing stood out. The salted caramel cheesecake had a grainy texture rather than being smooth. Service was friendly, but a little rushed. Courses came out too quickly, making it hard to enjoy each one before the next arrived. The table became crowded with plates, and the pace felt chaotic at times. The server was kind and seemed possibly overwhelmed. Overall, a good meal with solid food, but pacing and a few execution details could use some attention.

The staff was super friendly, great has small-town hospitality vibe. Since we stopped for breakfast let's start with the coffee, absolutely fantastic. Rich, fresh, and hot - and they never let your cup get below half full. I swear the waitress had a sixth sense for it because my mug was topped off with a smile before I even realized it was getting low. You don't see that here in Miami. The portions are wonderfully generous without being ridiculous. My vegetable omelette was loaded with fluffy eggs & veges, crispy bacon, and perfectly golden hash browns - and the biscuit! Love me a good southern style biscuit! Everything tasted homemade like someone's grandma was back in the kitchen looking out for you. Best of all? The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for the quality and quantity you get. I left feeling so FULL that my next meal was dinner. About 20 years ago, my sister told me about this place cause she worked across the street from it…read moreand she went there almost every day. Even though time and time again I wanted to go I just never pulled it for one reason or another. But the other day I went and I have to tell you. Wow , if you want a good southern meal with southern hospitality a country kitchen feel like your Mama's homemade cooking. Filled with love in flavor. This is a place to go. My sweet man had their meatloaf plate more food than you can shake a stick at. It was delicious full of flavor and perfectly ,perfectly balanced .Their mashed potatoes ,Remind me of my mom's. They are made the way mashed potatoes are supposed to taste. The meatloaf perfect ,the fried okra just absolutely amazing and the ranch dressing to dip the okra in better than bottled . Then I just had the simple soup ,simple soup my foot .I had their potato soup and the Angel ( I think I remember her saying her name was Chrissy ) who made it , well I have to tell you. I believe when you sit down to a meal, you begin to enjoy it by the aroma of the flavors in the dish this soup when it was placed in front of me teased my pallet just from the aroma with the first bite I knew I was tasting perfection. It wasn't over seasoned. It wasn't under seasoned it hit every point on the flavor scale simple but delicious and extremely satisfying. It filled my stomach and my heart with warmth ,flavor and satisfaction. Now let's talk about the service we were greeted with kindness and a smile each server that we spoke to did more with a smile and a kind word and making our experience worth coming to the restaurant. The prices are reasonable large amount of food you get .The staff is amazing.. The ambience is very country very homie. It just makes you smile. The only thing I have to warn you about is if you are handicap and you are in a wheelchair, the bathrooms not so easy to maneuver. I had to leave my walker outside the bathroom to go into the bathroom, but they make up for it with having handrails for you to support yourself which compensates for the size of the bathroom. so just be prepared for that if you're a handicapped. Coming to this restaurant the only thing I'm sorry about is that it took me 20 years to get here but trust me I will be a regular from now on. The cooking the ambience and the people reminded me of home and what I grew up with perfect experience all the way around.

We arrived early for our reservation and grabbed seats at the bar. We were immediately greeted with a smile and extensive menus! This menu is so vast, it reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory in the best way. There is truly something for everyone here. Carnivores, vegetarians, vegans, you name it. I opted for the vegetarian "Vegetable Bowl" and my husband went for the fajitas after another guest recommended both items. The cilantro sauce and the caramelized plantains were my favorite part of the Vegetable bowl, and my husband loved every bite of his fajitas. Everything was hot, fresh, and it arrived quickly. There are a number of different dining areas here and we loved sitting in the back dining room in a comfy booth. Even though other diners were present, it felt like we had the place to ourselves because the tables are spaced far enough apart that there's plenty of personal space. No need to shout to hear your dining companions. All in all we loved Parva and look forward to coming back on our next trip to Deland.

I've heard nothing but amazing things about BakeChop in DeLand (110 Artisan Aly, right in the heart…read moreof downtown), so I finally had to check it out--and wow, it lived up to every bit of the hype and then some! This scratch kitchen spot has quickly become one of my favorite places in town, and after our recent visit, my guests and I were all blown away. The food was absolutely amazing, impressing everyone at the table so much that we're already planning our next trip back--definitely going to be regulars from here on out. Everything is made from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care and love that goes into each dish. Their menu is creative and diverse--think insanely good hand-crafted sandwiches, burgers that are huge and perfectly executed (juicy patties on toasted buns, cooked exactly to order with complex, flavorful toppings), hearty salads, quiches, sloppy joes, and daily specials that keep things exciting. We tried a mix of items, and nothing disappointed; flavors were bold, portions generous, and every bite was packed with that homemade goodness. The homemade desserts and rocking sweets are worth saving room for too--they're the perfect finish to an already stellar meal. The vibe is cozy and welcoming--cute little spot with indoor/outdoor seating, great service that's attentive and friendly (staff makes you feel like family right away), and it's in such a charming part of Artisan Alley next to the brewery, perfect for a casual lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. They even offer delivery and catering if you want to bring that magic home or to an event. BakeChop is the real deal--a local gem putting heart into food, family, friends, and good times. If you're in DeLand and haven't been yet, stop waiting and go try it. You won't be disappointed; we'll be back often for sure! Highly recommend calling (386) 873-6524 or checking bakechop.com for the menu and hours. Keep up the incredible work, team! 1computeroutlet , 1websitenow

There was a market going on that we enjoyed exploring on our way over to the restaurant. It's not very big on the inside but does have tables inside and out. The inside is open allowing you views into the kitchen area. I ordered the Allicin Burger which is a beef burger with french onion reduction, crispy onion straws, swiss cheese, and garlic aioli. The meat was very juicy and flavorful. I enjoyed all the onions. It made for a solid meal. The old bay potato chips were a good pairing for the burger. My mom ordered a more traditional burger and she liked it. I noticed the bakery item display and it had a good selection. I deducted 1 star for customer service. While the food was very good, the service did not feel warm. Our server felt very cold and was short with us. She never once cracked a smile and it almost felt like we might have been bothering her by just being there. I wish we had a friendly server because it would have made the experience much more enjoyable.
