Took some friends visiting from NYC out for Monday morning brunch and overall it was a good time! The mimosas were flowing and the vibes were great -- sorry, I was having too much fun to remember to photograph the food! I went with the biscuit and gravy, which I've had here before and enjoyed, but this visit it fell a little short. The gravy seemed lukewarm and while there was sausage in it, I felt like there could have been more. The home fries were decent but a few pieces were on the harder side. That said, the rest of the table was happy! My niece absolutely loved her pancakes, my husband had the skillet (I think it was called something "Burnt" -- don't let the name fool you, he enjoyed it with all the options it came with), and my brother-in-law got the Bourbon BBQ Burger which he raved about. So it's a solid 4/5 from us -- the mimosas and company made it a great morning, and most of the food was a hit. My breakfast just could have been a little better. Some of the food is great. The atmosphere is casual and decorated nicely. However. Be prepared to wait, wait, wait. The service is SO SLOW. We have been here 4 times and it's forever and a day to get anyone to attend to the table, get a drink (water even), and I swear there's 1 person back there cooking. They aren't equipped for even half the restaurant to be full. So far I've been here almost an hour and I have a water (which took 20 min to get). That's it. Ok finally got the food. The grilled peach salad had canned peaches. They are in season now. I ordered it with grilled chicken. There was no chicken. It didn't even have dressing unless you consider the balsamic drizzle around the edges to be salad dressing. Doubt we will be back. Gave them several chances. read more

We were feeling hungry after our trip to Blue State Springs Park and decided on having brunch here. We were greeted and seated immediately and the service was warm and friendly. The restaurant was clean and spacious as well. It had a very Southern hospitality kind of feel. My husband and I ordered the following: Maple Bourbon Candied Bacon - 9/10: absolutely delightful and each bacon was coated generously with that maple bourbon glazed. I loved how crispy the bacon was and it wasn't overly sweet. It was beyond delicious and I would definitely get this again! The sweetest cuts through the fat of the bacon and you get an overall, sweet and smoky (from the bourbon) flavor. Burnt Ends Skillet - 8.5/10: this was also delicious and it came with eggs, brisket, onion, mushroom, home fries, and Swiss cheese. I subbed the type of bread for a biscuit. The biscuit was moist, buttery, and fluffy and the potatoes were crispy, flavorful, and seasoned well. The burnt ends melts in your mouth and the taste is reminiscence of a good smoky BBQ flavor. My eggs were also cooked perfectly, sunny side up as I requested. The yolk spilled all over the potatoes and it was heaven! This was a pretty hefty portion and I couldn't finish it so I had it the next day and it was just as good. I would rate this higher but I'm not too keen on strong BBQ flavors (just a personal preference) and it is a big greasy but nonetheless, this is definitely a dish you should try. Chicken and Waffles - 7.5/10: my husband enjoyed it but be aware the fried chicken is more so like tenders instead of the bone in version. I had a taste and it was good but we've had better chicken and waffles. The waffles were thick, fluffy, and coated in the maple syrup, was pretty good. The chicken's fry was a nice, deep golden color and the flavor and seasoning on it was good as well. The chicken to waffle ratio was a bit off though as we got two strips for 4 big waffle slices. My husband didn't have enough chicken for his waffles. Our other friends had their pistachio iced coffee, hot, coffee, and biscuits and gravy and they seemed to enjoy their food. We got our food in a decent amount of time, except my husband's chicken and waffles took a little bit longer (we didn't mind the wait). The prices were really reasonable for the portion sizes as well. Overall, we will be back to try other things on the menu! Wife and I came in for a brunch date. Wr arrived around 11ish on a Sunday. The place was empty so we were sat instantly. My wife ordered the avocado toast with smoked salmon and I decided to try the bottomless brunch with the breakfast tacos, parmesean fries, biscuits and gravy, butter chicken, and the asian sticky ribs. First, this place does not skimp on portions. You need to be hungry when you come, especially if you get the bottomless brunch. The avocado toast comes on a thick large piece of bread, and they go heavy on the avocado and the salmon. For the bottomless brunch, I would think you get small portions... nope. You get full sized meals! For the price they change, it's insane how much food you get, in a good way. My favorites was the butter chicken and the biscuits and gravy. Full of flavor, plenty of gravy and sauce, soft fresh naan and biscuit. Just spot on! The breakfast tacos were ok, not too bad but could have been better. The only thing that wasnt great were the asian sticky ribs. They were fairly hard and flavorless. Overall, this place is great, and the price for the bottomless brunch is an amazing deal. After a Halloween sleepover with family all six of us came here for breakfast. The restaurant has a very chill relaxed vibe perfect for the morning. Our server was very friendly. The food did take a while to come out so I don't think I would recommend the place if you were in a rush. But the food was very good. We got the candied maple bacon which i liked more than the million dollar bacon. My omelet was very good and my son eagerly ate his whole pancake. We will be coming back. read more

All I can say is Wow! Orange City has a special gem in Orange Social. My server Blake was so kind and courteous, and welcomed me with the warmest smile. The dishes also did not disappoint! I enjoyed items such as ribs with a sticky Asian glaze, prime rib with cornbread, and shrimp curry! All these items were cooked and seasoned to perfection! The desserts (chocolate mousse and key lime pie) were also very tasty! Did not know this was a restaurant. Found it when I looked burgers. So we went for the burgers. My husband got the blueberry lemonade drink it was really good. The nacho topping was good some of the chips were stale. Our burgers were cooked to temperature requested. The truffle Parmesan fries were good wish it had more truffle flavor. The food was ok, but not worth the wait of the kitchen. It was so incredibly slow. Three plates would come out at a time, but there was about ten minutes before the last two plates came out. Seven of us dined at Orange Social for lunch today. We had a variety' of different entrees: burger, BLT, chicken salad sandwiches and a cheese steak sandwich. Everything was good. We were all up early for once on the weekend so we went out to breakfast. We decided to try out Orange Social. We walked in and were welcomed by the hostess, she had a very kind and sweet vibe to her. She sat us and brought us two high chairs. It felt muggy inside - like the AC wasn't running, muggy. I noticed quite a few tables with dishes/trash on them when we walked in - we hadn't seen anyone at those tables so it seemed to have been there a bit. Our waitress came over twice before we ordered. We ordered two waters and an orange juice. She brought back one water and an orange juice and walked away. It happens. No big deal. She comes back - I ask for the water - she says, sure. She said she'd be back. Maybe we picked a bad time to be there? We watched her walk around and then started delivering to a huge party. She went back to talking to a coworker - my husband looked at her and lifted my water - asking for one. She brought it back and told us she forgot. We're super low maintenance when we go out. Even with two children, we constantly pick up all of our dishes, stack them, attempt to pick up all food off the floor, and partially wipe the table. Our food came out a bit later. My toddler was ecstatic with the portion of the bacon side. My husband had the western omelette, wheat toast, and home fries. I ordered the French toast breakfast to share with my one year old. Everything was pretty flavorful - though the potatoes could have used a bit more salt - they were overall super flavorful. Our waitress left a lot to be desired. First of all, I like to support all of our local small businesses, especially restaurants, as we need more quality food and nice places to go. The staff are all friendly and helpful, yet our server had a difficult time remembering what 3 ladies needed, stating he was on a double shift. But we enjoyed and appreciated him. The owner came and introduced himself which is 5 stars by me in any venue! As my 1st time going, my friend's their 2nd (for bingo), it could have been much more full of patrons on a Saturday. I ordered the rice chicken and shrimp dish. The flavor was outstanding along with the portion, HOWEVER if you are going to have a Shrimp and Chicken dish for $15 plus...you MUST PUT MORE THAN 2 PERFECTLY COOKED GRILLED SHRIMP ON THIS DISH. This is the restaurant Orange City and the area as a whole needed. I live in Deltona. The decor is simple yet elegant feeling with the mirrors and the artwork, subtle yet refined. Our server Heather recognized me from a previous establishment she worked at which was extremely impressive as wait staff see and meet soooo many people. She was on the ball with menu information, establishment info, letting us know the owner's/chef's backgrounds, how everything is made to order and more. She was on top of keeping drinks filled, seeing if we needed anything and making sure all was well When you go, hope that she is working and you can sit in her section Heather is a gift to the hospitality profession. The best part, the food!! We had a difficult time choosing. The menu is packed with delights and we'll definitely be returning to devour more of the items they have. I'm very intrigued by their curry offerings as curry was one of my specialties when I was an active Chef. Today I had the Country Skillet with eggs over medium and wheat toast. Everything in the skillet was well balanced so nothing outshined another. Everything was cooked to perfection. When I turned up my nose to Tabasco or Chululah, I was offered Sriracha which I happily accepted. The Mrs. got the smokehouse omelet. The Applewood Bacon, sausage and ham were all evenly proportionate so nothing was stronger than another. The eggs were fluffy and cheese perfectly melted. She's been craving grits but felt the price was too high for the small side that is normally given. Told her to get them and we were not prepared for a full serving, worth every last penny. This is not the little ramekin side that most restaurants give. They were so creamy and not the least bit gritty. She was in 7th heaven. Knowing grits don't reheat well, she got the remainder of her breakfast to go so she could finish every last bit of them. We were shocked at the amount of food for the price. I had to bring home some of mine as well. We had other breakfast plans but that place wasn't open so we used the GoogleFu and happened upon Orange Social and we're so glad we did. Went for early dinner on Saturday night. Cute place, great decor and CLEAN! We ordered mixed drinks, good pours! Waitress was new but excellent attitude. I got the Saturday seafood 3 course special. It comes with a starter of bang bang shrimp (amazing), I chose the blackened white fish for entree stuffed with crabmeat over mashed potatoes and asparagus with a yummy sauce that nicely rounded off the dish. Highly recommend! For dessert a cute little cheesecake tart that was the perfect ending. All that food for $20!!! My fiend got a pulled pork sandwich, again so tasty with excellent seasoning and abundant amounts. Fries are seasoned and well cooked. Definitely recommend! Orange Social popped up on my social media newsfeed as a new place to try near my home, so my husband and I decided to try them out recently. Orange Social is located within a strip of other businesses. They're in the exact spot where Woody's BBQ was, which is how my husband and I located it as they did not yet have exterior signage. We saw a couple of customers wander in thinking that the establishment was still Woody's and they all decided to stay. As Orange Social is still fairly new (they had been opened for three months when my husband and I went), they're still also working on enhancing the interior decor. At present, the space is a little sparse on wall art. The owner is extremely friendly and we also saw some "regulars" who were also very friendly and encouraged those who wandered in to stay - noting that the food is great. The menu has numerous choices of mostly American fare with some Indian dishes peppered in. We started with the maple candied bacon - it was delicious! My husband was excited to try one of the day's specials: burnt end melt as he can't find many places that have burnt ends. He said that the burnt ends tasted freshly smoked and he happily ate his whole meal. I opted for lighter fare: a wedge salad and baked potato soup (the soup of the day). The salad tasted fresh and the soup reminded me of cheese grits (in taste and texture), which I love, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. Place wasn't very busy - stood at door for a while to be seated as servers seemed to be bickering who had how many tables and once seated servers changed twice before we even got to order drinks about 20 minutes later after the second server got us water but no menus. I got the country style breakfast skillet and it was so good. There is so much flavor in it compared to any other of the little breakfast joints in the DeBary area. Pricing is comparable. Parking was conveniently located right out front, setting the tone for a hassle-free experience. The moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and cute the place was, featuring a welcoming bar, cozy booths, and plenty of seating options. Orange Social offers various menus, and since it was Sunday, we were given the brunch menu. It has a little bit of everything, blending selections from the lunch, dinner, and breakfast menus. They also feature daily specials, which is a nice touch. My husband ordered the half-pound breakfast burger, which came with eggs and bacon, accompanied by fries. There were upgrade options for the fries, which he appreciated. He absolutely loved his meal and even mentioned that it's one of the best burgers he's had in the Deltona to Orange City area--a high compliment! As for me, I'm really into fitness and was hoping to find a salad. Although there wasn't a specific salad listed on the brunch menu, the staff was more than willing to customize something for me. I ended up ordering a house salad from the lunch menu, and since I'm lactose intolerant, they kindly omitted out the cheese and ranch and they were okay with me being in my own dressing. I was also able to add green bell peppers to the mix, which already included onions, tomatoes, and mixed greens. The salad was perfect, and the grilled chicken I added was cooked to perfection--juicy and flavorful, not dry at all. It was one of the best house salads I've had in a long time. Our server, Heather, was incredibly attentive, making sure our coffee cups were always full and offering plenty of soda refills. She was upbeat and kind, adding to the overall positive experience. The owner, Jay, also came by to check on us, which was a nice personal touch. He mentioned that they're happy to customize meals to accommodate dietary needs, which was reassuring given my restrictions. We both ordered the half sandwich and soup for lunch. One was a BLT and the other was the chicken salad. We both upgraded (an additional $2 each) the cup of soup to seafood chowder. I can only say that there were only 3 small shrimp and 1 piece of fish between the 2 soups - but lots of potatoes. And the BLT was embarrassing with only 1 slice of bacon. The bread used on the sandwiches was just generic grocery store white bread - nothing special.
