They're only open from 7 to 2 PM. They're usually have a nice crowd of local locals. You walk in and you could see yourself wherever you please. This is a quick service breakfast place so she takes your order in within 15 minutes. Your food is there made fresh delicious in the order has been right each time. My husband had the grilled fish with rice and fries. I had the fried fish with fries and my daughter had a cheeseburger. When you walk in the door, you are greeted and told to seat where you like. There are booths or tables to choose from. It is bigger inside than it looks from the outside and they make it nice for all holidays! The service is great here! They bring you a menu and take your drink order. When they come back if you are ready to order, you do. I had the Florentine Eggs Benedict with hash browns. My daughter had the Greek omelette hold the tomatoes and add spinach with an English muffin. We also wanted their fried okra with ranch dressing and they had broccoli and cheddar bites the last time on the board menu since they still had that, so we ordered that too! Both appetizers came out first and they were just out of the kitchen and on the plate. Both were hot, fresh, and tasty! I love the way 4 Bees make them. We were almost done, when our food came out. I thought so much delicious food, we are not going to be able to eat it all here. Sure enough we had some leftovers. My eggs Benedict was delicious as ever and this is the only restaurant I trust with making it so yummy. My daughter enjoyed her omelette with the feta cheese and little peppers as well as her spinach, gyro meat, and eggs. We were checked on a few times while eating and I didn't have to even ask for a drink refill before one was brought out to me. The service was fast from when you sit down and order and the food is brought out to the table. One of the fastest restaurants I have been to. You don't wait long to munch down on all the deliciousness you ordered. I highly recommend 4 Bees. My dad was the one that introduced me to this little gem and when I have a craving for eggs Benedict this is where I go. We have tried almost all the appetizers and they are always delicious. Decided to have lunch at 4-B's for lunch it turned out to be a bad idea. Ordered Philly cheese steal "what a joke " sandwich had minced meat, minced peppers and minced mushrooms it had no taste at all, I also ordered a side of fries, the waitress did not offer any condiments I tried flagging her down but she tota ignored me, I had to Retrieve a bottle of ketchup from another table, all other customers were offered various condiments, i ordered a side of cucumber salad and it was never served When I asked the waitress about the salad I also asked her why she didn't offer any ketchup in the first place , she replied with anger and said she was work alone. this will be my first and last time at this joint read more

I'm for sure honking a stereotype when I say travelling in the South, I make a concerted effort to seek out places that might look like a shithole, but offer a breakfast of down-home gourmet excellence. In that quest, I've experienced sure-as-sugar shitholes inside and out, with food to match. Then again, I've hit the jackpot more than once (see my Yelp for "Lu-Bob's" in Greenville, Illinois). 4-B's here isn't quite at the Lu-Bob level, but it was mighty mighty good. I judge the coffee first. If the coffee is poor, I won't hold hope for the rest of the feed. 4-B's brew was a great "good-morning-America". Agent Cooper would give it a thumbs-up. I was surprised to see a Chorizo Omelette on the menu, and I went there-if not for any other reason than to see if it worked. It did. Oh yes it did. It was that kind of omelette where the filling is done on the flattop first, removed from the grill, then the eggs are laid out in a thin layer. When the eggies are ready, the filling is plopped in the middle and the eggs are folded around. None of that nonsense where pancake batter is added to the eggiwegs. to fluff up an otherwise pedestrian dish. This was a really REALLY good Omelette! There was a nice bowl of cheesy grits in accompaniment. Along with the coffee, I had a glass of their fine Iced tea. Iced tea is usually always excellent in the Southern US of A. It's not precisely a shithole, but it's not going to win any interior design awards, either. Wife is from that area, and she came to this place when she was young. Knowing that, the unfussiness of the surroundings made sense. The owners appear to put their effort into what's coming out of the kitchen, and keep the rooms clean and pleasant, if not exactly pretty. And that will get you 5 stars in the blink of an eye. It was nice to see the inside has been freshened up and more updated. The service was good. Our server was friendly and honest about the items on the menu. The tea was actually very good and fresh brewed not from a fountain. That's where the good parts grind to a halt. The food isn't great. The over easy eggs and toast were pretty standard but the rest was not good. Scrambled eggs were rubbery. The sirloin steak was grey all the way through. Almost no sear and certainly not med rare. The breakfast potatoes are just deep fried out of a bag. The gravy was like glue and I wonder if it came out of a can. The biscuits are bought in and reheated. Very reminiscent of institutional cooking. I hate writing bad reviews but the food here is just bad. Hopefully they can right the ship and start making good food from scratch. read more

It has a "small town diner" feel and many locals go, so this should tell you how good this place is. My only concern was the bill for $73.00 for a breakfast for 3 people. I had a great breakfast in here. Waitress was great helping out with the selections and the ice tea here was great. it's a basic breakfast. If you're a flannel guy/girl then this will work out great. It's been open for a while and it has plenty of tables and parking. Liked the biscuits, would have liked more home fries than I was served but it's all good. Prices compared to Miami are a deal. It's a southern charm restaurant that's basically open for breakfast and lunch. If you're not fussy, this should make a great breakfast stop. read more

This diner fits very well into the 70s-80s aesthetic. It has customers rolling in and out, service is great and quick and everyone was very kind! With family visiting, we opted to check out 4 B's Restaurant for breakfast, having heard great things about their morning fare. We did caution our guests about the place's old-fashioned look so they wouldn't judge it by its exterior. Our server was prompt and efficient, taking our order immediately. We went for steak and eggs, eggs with sausage and toast, and a waffle. While we waited for our drinks (I can't speak to the coffee as it was late morning and none of us ordered any), an air conditioner condenser dripped water onto one of our guests, causing her to switch seats. We mentioned this to the waitress, who glanced up but carried on with her tasks. The food was decent, though it didn't live up to the stellar reviews we'd heard. Prices were reasonable, which was also a bit unexpected given the high praise. I wouldn't return for breakfast, but I might give their lunch a try. read more

I'll make this review short & sweet. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with what the waitress called square potatoes with onions and green peppers. Eggs Benedict had a tasteless, watered down Sauce on top of the Fried Egg which covered a piece of Ham (with String attached) on top of a very well done English muffin. Potatoes were Tiny Squares (HARD) with a Couple pieces of Onion. Didn't see any Green Peppers. To sum it all up....Worst CRAP I've ever had!!! read more

Better than great ~~ It's AWESOME!!! Under new ownership, Amber from the Osteen Diner owns it now & she brought her vitality and upbeat personality with her, along with a yummy menu! Excellent location in Debary, we had no problem parking & got seated by Amber herself! AND, she took care of us! OMG! Good coffee, Fried Green Tomatoes we crunchy on the outside & very tender on the inside! Chicken Fried Steak was the tenderest (is that even a word? LOL!) that we've ever tasted. 4 B's Sausage Gravy was delicious and plentiful. We had crispy hashbrowns, 2 eggs cooked over-easy perfectly and I swear the biscuits were made-by-scratch, homemade, what have you. We wish all the best with her new digs! The food (I got the ribeye steak) tasted like dog food, I tried adding the steak sauce and it tasted even worse. I also got the mac n cheese and it was very thick and the cheese was gritty. 0/10 for food. The service was really good, very quick and speedy. 8/10 for service. I come here often cause it's cheap, fast and friendly service but the food is just ok it's nothing to rave about... They do need to get a better syrup for their pan cakes and French toast... I have had pretty much everything in their breakfast menu. I usually stick with the corn beef hash, toast, over easy eggs and mr. Bees potatoes which is potatoes with onions and peppers... Very disappointed here. The place was pretty crowded, with about 40 good old boys (all over 50 years old), and five spouses, it seems like they are all regulars, so this is very much a local neighborhood hangout. Coffee was pretty terrible, reminds my of the old army jodie, "the coffee in army life they say is mighty fine; it's good for cuts and bruises, and tastes like iodine." It was lukewarm too, but at least they have real half and half. The breakfast omelet was pretty nasty tasting, but I didn't get sick. The mushrooms were tough(!) and tasted old. The oils the omelet was cooked in tasted kind of rancid. My wife's spinach was previously frozen, but the breakfast sausage was cooked perfectly. The wait staff was helpful and friendly, dishes were clean. All in all, it was a bum experience, but not as bad as the Brickhouse Restaurant in DeLand, so I will give it two stars instead of one. But I will never come back here unless circumstances require me to eat something in DeBary in a short amount of time, and the other places are closed. read more
