Came to this restaurant for my birthday and ended up leaving upset. We walked in and the female bartender (with short black hair) told my sister and I to sit down wherever. Okay, cool. We see that there are lots of tables taken and there were only two available tables: one right at the corner next to the window, tight space, with customers at the nearby tables, siting around 4-6 people OR a more "breathable" table, but sitting a whole party of around 10 people. My sister and I decided to sit there due to not wanting to feel cramped and awkward. Also, for anyone that has been there, it's a pretty small place with bad division, but it is what it is. That's the rental space available, I get it. That same female bartender then comes to us and makes a passive aggressive comment about how we picked the table with the most space and chairs. To which then I asked her "would you like for us to sit somewhere else?" and she replied" no, it's okay." Already didn't appreciate the passive aggressive attitude because a) she told us to sit ourselves and b) I asked her if she wanted us to move and she said no. She asked us what we wanted to drink and she brought us our waters. After that, the young, tan guy (the food runner/waiter) grabbed our orders and helped us out the rest of the evening. Time goes by, we get our food, everything is alright. And then, when we are finishing up our food, I hear that same female bartender from afar talking to our male runner saying "they pick the biggest table and now we need it" in a very annoyed manner - as if we are being a nuisance or inconvenience to her. Immediately, I'm pissed. Did I NOT ask this lady before if she wanted us to move? I spoke plain English. The male runner then comes to us asking if we could move tables. I'm pissed and tell him that we are just going to leave and to bring us a to-go box. I tell him about how I asked the female bartender if she wanted us to leave the table before we even ordered drinks and that I heard the comment she made to him and how I found it super disrespectful. He sincerely apologized and gave us a 10% discount for our trouble. I wanted nothing to do with her after that and when I was waiting for the gentleman to pick up my card to charge me, she came with the loveliest, fakest kindness "I can take that for you." I said, "no, I'll hand it to him." Unfortunately, I was so pissed that I didn't ask for either of their names. However, it was Sep 12 2026. So whoever worked the shift from around 5pm-6pm, it's those two individuals. I want to reiterate that the male runner was super helpful and attentive. I told him that he was great; he wasn't the problem. I'm going to advise the female bartender that passive aggressiveness is a bad habit to have culturally and that she won't always run into people that can handle it civilly the way my sister and I did. If she wants to be gangster with the comments she made to him, she can be gangster to my face. Especially since I asked her before if she wanted us to move and SHE said no. Now, to all my non-white folks, Debary has always had a certain... reputation... about how... certain people receive certain treatment. And even when I came in, I felt a certain... vibe - even from the female bartender herself. But I decided to give it a try either way because maybe it was just in my head. I'll say this, you probably will find it best to find somewhere else to dine. Which sucks because I've been dying to come dine here. And the food was actually pretty darn good, but it's not worth dealing with the passive aggressiveness and fakery she displayed. read more

This place is solid. The wings are nice and crispy, cooked to perfection. The beer is always ice cold and the service is good. We have tried a few other things on the menu and have liked everything we have tried. We will always keep O Learys in our rotation of places to frequent. read more

O'Leary's wings have always been good. The wings you see here are teriyaki and hot. Can't go wrong with a side of crinkle fries. The service is always friendly and fast. If you want a place to watch the game or just hang out then try them out. read more

I'm not going to lie; I'm horrified by the recent experience we had with O'Leary's. Mind you, I love O'Leary's and love their chicken wings! We've gone here several times with no quality issues at all, and I specifically asked my partner if he wanted O'Leary's wings because we like them that much. We went to pick up some chicken wings and I ordered 16 boneless wings for us to split, half garlic parm, half O'Leary's sauce. The customer service was nice on the phone, no surprises there. What was horrifying was the food quality that we received. We ordered a salad with it to share, it had little to no dressing or parm like their Caesar's usually do. It was a bummer, but we called them and were able to sort that part out easily. What was absolutely not okay was that I found a bone baked into one of my boneless wings. But weirdly enough that wasn't the worst thing that I noticed. One of my boneless wings had something metal baked into it (see my photos attached for both). Never have I had such poor food quality at O'Leary's. I don't know what was going on in the kitchen last night, but please do better in the future. You could make someone sick or kill someone if there's bones and/or metal pieces baked into boneless wings. If you're ordering boneless wings, you're not expecting BONES or METAL PIECES baked into the meat. I couldn't even eat the rest of my wings because if these are things that I could see from just looking at my wings, I can't imagine the rest of them are cooked with better quality. After this experience, I'm genuinely not sure I'll ever go back here. read more

The wings are outstanding! It's not open late anymore like it was under the previous owners, but the food is better for sure.

I got a kids meal, chicken tenders and fries. Safe to say the price was worth it! The portion is great, the food was crispy, the complimentary BBQ sauce tasted good. Ordered online and had a coworker pick it up so I don't know how the workers would've treated me or what the place itself looks like so I can't comment on those. I just wish the fries had a bit of seasoning but that's more of a personal preference, will be going again! read more

There were a ton of patrons still there, and many of them seemed trashed, so maybe I can understand why the owners shut down early. What a GREAT stop for lunch and catching some of the English Premier soccer on TV! Tye was pretty much handling the entire place (bar and dining room) by herself & she ROCKED IT! This is my first time to O'Learys Irish pub in Debary. It will not be my last time. My experience started with a perfectly poured pint of Guinness. Topped off with a fantastic club salad with grilled chicken. I was met by Candace upon my arrival she set me up promptly with a beautiful Guinness pour. It is a friendly pub atmosphere. It has indoor and outdoor seating and a bar that seats 13 to 14 individuals. The residents of Debary are lucky to have this establishment in their neighborhood. read more

We drove 60 miles to dine there. Big mistake. O'leary's Irish Pub appears to have escape from the Twilight Zone, and still stuck in the '40s and '60s. Apparently, customers, staff and management are not aware in this place that we are in the last days of 2021. We waited more than 15 minutes for someone to assist us and wait our table, until we had to ask for a menu, but we were denied service because we were not "white" enough for them. I wish I have a photo. It's becoming really hard to photograph racism. Anyone going there, please check your pedigree. You might not be "Irishly-white" enough for any of them. Anything good to say? This place never stops being a top notch Place to go. having Been there dozens of times we are always greeted with a smiling server writhing a couple of minute. As usual Bryan was right on time, beers ordered and arrived a couple of minutes after. Food is top notch bar food and the wings are great. Servers always stop by checking on things. Watch how they clean the tables and it will tell you a lot about what this place is all about. It's great service, happy wait staff and a spotless table to eat. I used to come to O'Learys all the time when I played in a kickball league nearby.. but hadn't been back very often in the last few years. My boyfriend and I were looking for a good wing spot and we found it! We very much enjoy their Thursday night wing specials but try to stay away on Friday nights when we have our toddler because the live music is a little loud. This location is unique and found in Debary on our way home from a hike nearby. I love wings and they didn't disappoint! The skin was so crispy since I asked for extra crispy. Carlos, also known as "Los" is the reason why I keep coming back here. He's very accommodating, friendly and knows how to make you feel welcomed every time my boyfriend and I come here to have drinks (specifically the cold draft Yuengling for $3). He knows our order very well and every time he sees us walking inside the establishment, he knows to come out of the kitchen and give us a warm welcome even when he's slammed. You really can't beat their prices either and oh boy! Let me tell you about their wings. I may be exaggerating, but these wings are the best wings I've ever had. And I've traveled the world (Thailand, New Zealand, Philippines, etc). Any flavor, any dipping sauce, it's so delicious! Our favorite is the mild Buffalo with blue cheese. And I'm not a blue cheese kind of gal. They're so addicting that you just. can't. have. one. They're fresh and made to order. The skin is crispy and the meat falls off the bone. It's everything you want in a chicken wing. My boyfriend and I like to think that Los makes these wings extra special just for us, or maybe it's the same regular wings everyone gets, but the wings we get are always consistent when we see him in the kitchen. He's respective to all other customers and especially his team that works there as well. The girls are so nice and will leave your drink bottomless unless you say you're done for the night.
