The ribs were near perfect, the meat came right off the bone, every last bit of it but it was a tiny bit on the dry side. The pork was 95% fat there was nearly no meat to be spoken of, I can't even fathom how awful it would've looked had I chosen pulled. My sides were the BBQ beans which were smokey, thick and outstanding. The dirty rice was a question in what the heck were they thinking. Never have I ever in 55 years seen corn kernels in dirty rice and I'm accustomed to there being ground meat not chunks of sausage and I don't know what type of sausage they were using but there was something almost sweet and a lil bit tangy to it which thoroughly threw everything off balance and the rice was thick and chewy. Looking at the reviews here on Yelp, guess we should've stayed with the one in Deland. With all the choices of BBQ around here Sonny's in permanently out of rotation after this.
