Absolute legend fall from grace! What the hell happened to 5 Guys the prices seem like going up and it's quantities come down. They used to have the best fries in the industry and now we went there this evening and I got the medium fry which I usually get and usually get it in a cup loaded with fries in the bag they kind of set everybody up for this amazing portion of french fries and tonight we got them. It's like no larger than a regular McDonald's french fry OK they're still good but it doesn't matter you set people up for expectations and then you need to pull the rug out of my room. I don't like it hamburger was delicious. I also don't like the fact that you guys are sweeping in the dining room while I'm trying to eat my food towards me and dust is coming towards me absolutely ridiculous so that I give him a three stars which I believe is generous. read more

Not very clean inside: peanut shells scattered around the dining room floor and the tables nearest the register and takeaway counter were messy and unattended. With nobody sitting at either table. We know, because we sat for a long 15 minutes as we waited for our togo order. A very diminutive girl wearing glasses and a sour outward disposition walked around the dining room at least 3 times during our 15 minute wait for our food. She exercised a complete lack of any discernible effort other than during one of her walkabouts, she swapped out the trash receptacle by the door. She artfully ignored the messy tables with dirty napkins, empty bags, and leftover food spread out on these tables right next to the trash receptacle. Nor did she sweep the floors covered in peanut shells and napkins. She basically did nothing. FG burgers are delicious. The fries are superb. No complaints on the food. But their prices are astronomical. It's amazing how much FG charges for simple burgers & fries. And the credit card machine actually prompted us for a tip ranging from 15% to 30%! For an employee at the counter to input our order. He never touched our credit card - we swiped it ourselves. Our interaction was barely 30 seconds as we verbally gave him our order. A tip? Really? After 15 loonngg minutes, we walked up to the counter to his left to retrieve our bag of food. We knew it was our order when a 2nd employee shouted out our ticket#. Very impersonal. And that's ok. But why would we tip at Five Guys? We decided this meal, as tasty as a burger & fries can be, would be our last visit. The poor sanitation and the long wait for our food compounded by ridiculously high prices clinched our feeling FG is for suckers. Not us. read more

This review is basically about a wonderful employee that cares about customers! I went in on 07/08/24 around 1:30pm. I was at competitor Steak n Shake(horrible) just before. They basically do not care if you have a food allergy, just a bunch of miserable hacks! I went to Five Guys and told the nice young lady what had happened. #1- She was really concerned about my food allergy. She explained cooking process, and even offered to have the grill cleaned for me. Wonderful! I was running late so I had to decline. #2- She was very polite, and represented your business in the finest manner! I wish I got her name, but anyways after the brutal time I had at your competitor, next time I am in the area I will stop in and get some fries and a Coke or something! Five Guys in Orange City has always been consistent every time I been there. The menu is simple, I just get the Cheeseburger and Fries. They always put extra fries in the bag which I believe all the stores do. The cost is higher than a McDonalds or Wendy's but the burger is made to order and has any ingredient you want. I was in the area and stopped by here. Awesome customer service and great food on the go. There were a group of guys who came in after me without any masks and so the cashier offered masks for them to wear. Cool transition and no one was offended. Meanwhile, I ordered a single with grilled onions and mushrooms with American cheese. Everything was tasty and fresh! Clean place and they kept their Covid standards up to par. We had come from the state park where we looked at manatees and were craving burgers. So we found a Five Guys not far from the park, and we were satisfied with the service and the orders we placed. I ordered a double bacon double cheeseburger but no individual fry order as we were splitting a large order of fries with the kids. They have all the necessary condiments you need for your burger unless you want specialty items like BBQ sauce or hot sauce. For me, mayo and ketchup do the job done for the burgers there, which I washed down with a root beer. They are delicious, hit the spot if you need a burger, and want something higher quality than regular fast food joints like McDonald's or Burger King. You may wait a few minutes, but it is worth it. Plus, they have peanuts on which to nosh if you need to cut the hunger pangs. read more

We haven't been to five guys in years and it sounded so good. We ordered a hot dog and fries. The buns were completely soggy with grease so we just asked for new buns, but when we opened the soggy buns to put the hotdogs on the new buns the whole inside was filled with grease and we lost our appetite. The fries were also limp and greasy. The manager was so apologetic and understanding- he kindly refunded our money without giving us a hard time at all which we appreciated. He offered us a voucher for a future visit, but I don't think we'll be back. read more

Love their burgers and fries. Made to order and a wonderful selection of toppings including grilled onions, bbq sauce, and green peppers to name a few. Their hours have changed but open 7 days a week. For the non meat eaters, they have grilled cheese and veggie sandwiches. If you haven't tried them, I recommend them for a great lunch. I mean this in the nicest way possible because I love five guys but went tonight and got a fountain drink with my meal.. there were ants all over the machine which made me a little uneasy but i ended up grabbing the drink anyways since I paid 2.59 for it but had a bad feeling so I took it home w me and dumped it out through a strainer and lo and behold there was a dead ant under all the ice. I would still come back, their kitchen area looks super clean and i've never had a problem w the food but the drink area is a little questionable. Great service and food though read more

Five Guys hamburgers are super good! They are made to order and they give you a nice selection of toppings to choose from. Their fries are the best, and if you order a small fry, you'll have enough for two or three people. They also provide free peanuts to eat while you're waiting for your order. Five Guys may be my favorite burger joint. This particular location is a tad slower than other spots, but still oh so good.

I like Five Guys- I've been to (5) different Five Guys in (5) different states and must say this burger joint is consistent not a McDonald's consistent anyone could do that with processed food, these restaurants are clean and fresh, with well trained and managed employees with great attitudes, fresh food that is put together well. I hate when burger places just slop everything together you won't find that here and if you ever do you should bring it to the attention of the manager. Not only do they do burgers right the split and grilled hot dogs are awesome ( mustard, hot sauce and jalapeños is my dog of choice). They seem to have a pretty aggressive growth plan I hope they don't forget what got them here, ( and as long as In N Out doesn't open next door I'm a loyal customer). ;-) read more

I couldn't be more disappointed with this location. I don't usually judge an establishment based on one experience but I can't ignore the events that happened at this place. It started out with normal disappointments, dirty tables, rude employees and a general lack of interest in customer service during a slow time in the afternoon. After asking someone to clean the tables, this person asked someone else to do it, who asked someone else and then finally I had to explain again to the third person, that I just wanted a clean table to eat at. He asked a different person to clean the table and in the mean time I went to the restroom. When I came out of the restroom an employee was just walking out to start cleaning. When we were getting ready to leave my father got up to refill his drink. As he turned to walk back to the table he slipped and fell on a large wet spot on the floor. I quickly informed staff and NOBODY did anything or cared. Just looked at me blankly. Then a manger was told and instructed an employee to clean it up. It took him 5 minutes to come out with a mop. In the mean time we determine that it's ketchup on the floor. Then, other patrons informed us that they had seen an EMPLOYEE spilled the ketchup on the floor and then did not properly clean it up. Ten employees working in this restaurant, and nobody seems to care. Very very disappointed, someone could have been seriously injured. read more

Not sure what all the hype is about. I just ate there and the fries were limp and tasteless. The burger was bland. The only thing acceptable was the drink and that came out of a machine. Five Guys used to be an easy five star review burger joint. Big burgers with an oversized regular fry spilling into the bag is what we have all come to love about this company.. But something happened. I don't know if they're trying to squeeze more out of the name and cheaper burgers are next or what but the number of French fries I received for $5 is an insult to the effort I put into earning that money. It seems like they're pulling a McDonalds and pinching the fries to save money but what you don't realize is its going to cost you even more money in sales because the customers that regular your establishment notice these changes no matter how subtle. It's been a good run Five Guys but you're slipping...... Don't take the fall. ***UPDATE*** I have since been back and got the traditional serving I expected. Heard about all the good reviews about this place so I decided to try it out. I stopped in after my Dr. appointment and ordered a burger and fries. Sat down and waited 20 minutes for my food. Best place for a burger. I always get the "little cheeseburger" as their regulars are double stackers that are huge. Great employees, I come here every Saturday night. Delicious!!! Also, one order of fries is enough for 2 people easily, the Cajun fries are good and I like how they have the ketchup pumps. read more

My girlfriend stopped by there to pick us up burgers and fries. It was around 6:00 and the french fries tasted like brine and the burger was cold and not very flavorful. I'm not just picking on them because this is the third time it's happened to me. I'm not a frequenter here but I have been here a couple of times thinking it will change and it hasn't.
