Alright. The chick fil a review is due because i have HAD IT with this company. I don't go to this location often and this review is mostly about chick fil a in general. As an individual with gluten free needs who lives in a society dominated by high prices and inflation i am royally pissed off that 100% of the time when i go to a chick fil a drive thru and order a gluten free bun i get home and have paid for the bun but also never receive the bun. The last instance was the straw that broke everything here. I refuse to shut up about it now and their corporate team even followed up with me and started lying about things in email before switching their story and finally giving me what I asked for: my measly little $1.70 refund to my original payment method. Here's what went down: - ordered sandwich with gluten free bun and paid for the items - did not receive what i paid for - called and complained, phone rep said they WOULD refund me - this lady named Yarielis M. Velez Ruiz (marketing director) emailed me and said they could NOT refund me and she wants me to drive to the location to process...uhh no not doing that thank you - instead of giving me money back wants me to download apps and provide personal info for food i don't want from them anymore - the marketing director communicated in email a refund was impossible....that is until i told her i would just open a ticket with my credit card company to let them handle it - all of a sudden a refund is on the table Why lie about it? Man i would have let this go a lonnnng time ago. It's just $1.70 but im reviewing based on principal at this point. Do t dig the hole deeper. Don't be shady and lie about stuff. lol it's wild. So yes. I am absolutely going all in on $1.70 because how dare you claim that i be a Christian establishment and then steal and lie your way through customer service all over $1.70. They would not leave me alone and they kept digging so here is the dig back and some pictures of the email chain to showcase the lies. All over $1.70 which man it's not a big deal but again! Principal of the matter vs serious issue for my wallet. Ya'll could have just done what i politely asked in the first place and we would not be here with a review. At the end of the day if you charge a customer for something and don't give it to them. It's theft. We ordered 2 sandwiches, 2 fries, Mac and cheese, 3 drinks and sauces. BOTH sandwich's and 1 fri came with a GIANT long hair entangled around it. As well as 1 of the fries had another hair!!! On top of that my husband's sandwich had cheese slapped on it that was dry and cold. I gave them all my food back and walked out and got a refund. That's DISGUSTING and I will never be back. It was a super fast day at this location. I went via the drive-thru, and the employees were super friendly and efficient. Their chicken was good, and you can't go wrong with their sauce. Well it finally happened. Service was always great but tonight they blew it. In the drive through we specified it was 2 separate orders. We were going to two separate places and the sandwiches had different condiments. We get to the window and its all crammed in one bag. The worst experience I have had at a Chick-fil-A. The fries were nasty and the sandwich barely covered half the bun.

The food is excellent, which is served by stellar employees. I highly recommend the dine in option if you have the time.

Without a doubt this was the longest wait I've ever experienced at a Chick-fil-A. From the time I pulled in to the parking lot to leaving the parking lot with my order was 25 minutes that is crazy because it never takes that long at any location I've ever been to. On my way back to work and actually ended up being late I discovered my chicken sandwich was almost not eatable because it was saturated in grease I just don't understand what happened I've never experienced anything like this at a Chick-fil-A. I have not eaten yet but we drove out about 20 minutes we left at about 4:45 and we sat and waited about 15-20 minutes for our food, we got three orders of tortilla soup among food for three other people and extra sides for all four people. We got our large bag of food and four drinks and made it home, unpacking our food we realize there is one tortilla soup missing leading to us calling back and asking if we could issue a refund being refused only given if we drive back to the location then asking if we could pay for the delivery service and they told us they could not deliver it to us. read more

So yesterday I popped to my beloved Chick-fil-A location ( used to work there btw). I got a Cobb salad with strips (my usual). It comes with 3 strips on the top and if you ask me I really only had 2. The 3rd was mad small, like a nugget. Not to mention that my salad looked like it was prepared by free throwing the ingredients from the 3 point line -_-. It was the most disheveled thing I ever seen. The strips were cold and they only gave me 2 of my 4 cream salsa dressings. one of my favorite fast-food chains and this location in DeLand is great. there's indoor seating, curbside pick-up, and 2 lanes for drive-through. as expected, the staff is super polite and friendly, the food is always good. i've worked with this location for catering orders too- always had a great experience in terms of the food itself and the order being correct, however, they've been late on a couple of occasions. regardless, i'd still recommend them for catering orders or just a quick, casual meal. read more

Out of all the Chick-Fil-A locations I usually frequent (lake mary, sanford, Daytona and ormond) this has to be one of the slower ones especially for breakfast. Most locations have people outside to expedite the process so you aren't waiting 10-15 minutes. The other locations also allow you to order lunch since everything in the restaurant is fried this one does not which is kind of ridiculous. Other locations will simply tell you it will be a few minute wait and have you pull up which isnt an a big deal for someone making a special request. Their service is fast and friendly, but this drive thru on a Saturday morning was...not fast. In fact, we waited 15 minutes in the drive thru line which is unheard of for this chain. Employee Manning drive-through came to me and said that my credit card didn't go through so I swiped a different credit card. Seen a lot of nasty reviews & people talk about their service during lunch. PSA anyone with common sense knows that any place during lunch rush hour will be packed and slow hence LUNCH RUSH HOUR. If you're on a time crunch don't hate on the employees just order ahead and pick it up once you pull up. Done it dozens of times and by the time I get there its a quick grab and go back to work. Go to Popeyes or any other "fast" food chain and see if you can get faster service. I'd bet you can't. To the comments that are saying they put in a curbside 20 minutes before they arrived and they don't get their food until 15 min after they've arrived: they don't make your food when you order, they make it when you arrive and put in a parking number so it's fresh and they make food in the order that people ARRIVE at the restaurant. The app discloses this. If you come around peak times, sure it'll be busy (because it's good). I guarantee you'll get better food, service, and greater speed here than anywhere else. It's Chick Fil A , you really have to work at messing this up, the food here is very consistent and so is the service "most of the time" , you need to check your order here if you get anything extra on your chicken sandwich or biscuit, 7 out of 10 times I do not get the extra bacon I pay for and 7 out of 10 times I do not receive my extra condiments even though I click on them on the app and request them, I always order from the APP and HIGHLY recommend it, if not you will be sitting on Woodland Ave or in the side street blocking traffic waiting for your turn, about a half hour wait minimum from the time you arrive. This Chick-fil-A is really disappointing. The drive through line always takes at minimum 10 minutes. The food was at least usually decent, but the last few times the fries have been over salted and oddly over and under cooked, the chicken was cold, and was shorted sauces, nuggets and tenders.
