He said, it says it on the menu to ask for napkins and utensils. First of all, I didn't see a menu. I saw a computer screen and I specifically told him I was going to the park to eat it. She artfully ignored the messy tables with dirty napkins, empty bags, and leftover food spread out on these tables right next to the trash receptacle. Nor did she sweep the floors covered in peanut shells and napkins. She basically did nothing. FG burgers are delicious. The fries are superb. No complaints on the food. But their prices are astronomical. It's amazing how much FG charges for simple burgers & fries. And the credit card machine actually prompted us for a tip ranging from 15% to 30%! For an employee at the counter to input our order. He never touched our credit card - we swiped it ourselves. Our interaction was barely 30 seconds as we verbally gave him our order. A tip? Really? After 15 loonngg minutes, we walked up to the counter to his left to retrieve our bag of food. We knew it was our order when a 2nd employee shouted out our ticket#. Very impersonal. And that's ok. But why would we tip at Five Guys? We decided this meal, as tasty as a burger & fries can be, would be our last visit. I found a parking spot right up front, walked in and found a mostly empty restaurant (at lunchtime?). The store was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and plenty of them for the few customers and considering they don't have a drive-thru, I placed my order and the staff tagged-teamed it to get my sandwich made freaky fast - it was ready almost before I could pay, grab my chips and fountain drink and it was exactly as I ordered. I also realized that my in-house order for the exact same sandwich, chips and drink was over $3.00 cheaper than what the cost was when I attempted to order it online for pickup, I change my opinion of their online ordering "it's crap". They were slammed from a huge ($500+) Door Dash order! While I was there they had lots of these orders, a packed number of people who came inside to order, as well as a long line of customers in the Drive-Thru... I had time, so I hung in there and eventually put my order in... I ordered a Signature Chicken Sandwich, with Bacon and Cheese, and I it in the "Meal", which included a Drink and Crinkle-Cut Fries. I also ordered a 10 piece Fingers with Teriyaki Sauce (lots of sauces to choose from, and 3 different types of Dry Rubs). I paid and gave me an empty cup and directed me to the soda machine right next to us... (filled twice while waiting...) Everybody in the store was busy, including the Manager, who apologized while helping run orders out to cars! I finally got my order (to-go) and navigated my way out of the relatively small lot (for the huge volume of business that night). When I got home, everything was still warm, with the sandwich wrapped if a foil bag, the fries packed in a box, and the fingers packaged in a foam container. Nice! Plenty of Ranch sauce for the fingers too! The sandwich was good and very juicy! The fries were my favorite type, and were plenty! The Fingers looked slightly over-cooked, but were also very juicy and flavorful! They could have used more sauce... It was a good meal, even with the wait! The crew was very friendly, even under these conditions. I'll be back to try them on an afternoon, when they're not so slammed... Good job guys!
