Once again Anthony's hit it right on the nail again and it's still the best. Linguine with clam sauce was absolutely incredible and very reasonable. I've had linguine clam sauce in real classy, expensive restaurants that can't even make it this tasty and delicious & tons of fresh clams. I'm full Italian so I know what good linguine and clam sauce should be like in. This definitely is the best. read more

Anthony's Pizza - Pizza Near Me - DeLand, Florida

Awesome all areas, great service, terrific menu choices, excellent pizza and other dishes

Had an opportunity to try a slice finally. Being a new resident and native NY'ker, was hoping this was gonna be really good. Upon going into the restaurant on a Friday evening, I was happy to see many people sitting and eating. There is no way of seeing this is a sit down restaurant from outside. The patrons were happy and engaged! Great sign. Upon reaching the counter I was quickly asked for my name if I was ordering to go. I took a moment to look at the huge double sided menu. I saw the slice and was surprised at the price. 25% higher than what I pay. The cheese slice was warmed and I put the garlic powder, yada yada. The slice was good, not great, not enough cheese for me, and the sauce was ok. I suspect I'll return at some point but for the higher cost and not as tasty as I wanted, it was hard to give it a higher score. read more

The food is plentiful, generous and good. We can never finish our portion, with enough for dinner the next night. The service is courteous and the food comes out fairly quickly. However, I made the mistake of looking up toward the ceiling, while sitting at one of the back booths. And there it was-3 huge what-looked like air-conditioners sitting close to the ceiling, covered in mold and mildew, with old water drip marks on the wall outside the kitchen service window. It is disgusting and most likely a health hazard for the people who spend hours everyday inside that environment. Go for the food but sit toward the front or take your order to go. read more

The food - fantastic! Here's a couple of pics. Tasted as good as it looks. The 6 slice Anthony's special was thin and crispy, like New York pizza should be; and just look at the cheese on the eggplant Parmesan, my wife's favorite. read more

Excellent manicotti and eggplant parmesan. The pizza is fantastic also. We had stopped coming here for a while because of the rude servers but decided to give them another try and the woman at the counter was friendly. The two times before that we were rudely treated. One time I figured she is having a bad day.The second time led to a boycott. There are too many other restaurants around to put up with rude attitudes. It seems better now. read more

FIRST time at Anthony's Pizza and WOW The restaurant is very well taken care of, and super clean! Rachael was an absolute STAR and is so kind!! She was constantly checking in, refills were always full, extra dressings without even asking, and she surprised us with complimentary garlic knots while we waited The food was SO good, but the BBQ chicken pizza is a MUST. 10/10 experience all around. Do yourself a favor and come here!! read more

A hole-in-the-wall Italian eatery that has excellent food! We ordered Italian wedding soup as a starter and it was the best my hubby had had outside of Italy! He ordered spaghetti and meatballs as his meal and it was fresh and tasty. The pasta was cooked perfectly - not mushy! I ordered chicken Marsala and it was balanced a bit sweet - just the way it should be! The atmosphere is nothing to write home about; the real star is the food! The staff is friendly, shouting a greeting as you walk in the door. It's seat yourself, and our server was at the table in under 3 minutes. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu items. My drink was replaced when it was empty. We will definitely be back read more

My mother in law loves this place and who am I to deny her some pizza. We placed our order and 15 minutes later it was done. The inside was spacious and quaint. The young lady who took our order was polite and efficient. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a caesar salad. The pizza is good and the salad was above average. The pizza was suppose to be 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese but they spread the pepperoni throughout the pizza. Kinda disappointing but oh well we are hungry. All that matters is that she was happy. read more

Food was delicious and hot. It was very well packaged ( we got a pick up order) and the service was friendly and quick It looked like a nice place to eat dinner, but we'd already had a busy day and so just got a to/go order Liked it so much we've been back since then! read more

Great service, very friendly folks and the food (pizza and calzone) have been good. Only thing preventing 5 stars is some inconsistency in the pizza. Sometimes really good and sometimes just good. read more

My husband and I went in there for lunch. we got a slice and a salad. It was hot, fresh and the service was fantastic. We definitely recommend it! We bought cookies to go that barely made it home. read more

Been going to Anthony's since they day they opened, and they do have aswesome pizza an usually food, but yesteday I ordered the Chicken Maria and have to say it was the worst chicken I have eaten, the chicken tasted as if they get it in already breaded and possibly frozen, it just left a bad spot in my review. Again, I willl for sure eat there forever but will never order chicken products again. read more

We had a large Bianca pizza that was great but $42 for a pizza and a small salad is a bit much.

Giving 5 stars. Awesome spot. My new favorite place ! Wings are great and all the food has been so good and good prices.

I'm not sure about the other reviews but this was a random pick for a quick lunch in the area, when I saw three stars I was actually surprised. This was by far the best pizza we've had in long time. Also the pasta and portions are huge and worth the money!! We had excellent and friendly service. Delicious food that came out quickly and accurately. read more

Called on my way home from Sanford to order a couple of pizzas at around 5:30 PM. Phone rang about 100 times before it just stopped ringing and I got disconnected. I called again and it rang about 14 times and then the girl picked up and told me to hold right away before I could say anything. Then the phone hung up on me. I called back and I got the same message from the girl. Can you please hold Bam sends me on hold. 30 minutes later, I got to the restaurant, and told the girl about how nobody helped me on the phone, and she gave me attitude. This will be the last time I ever eat at this place. read more

It is hard to find authentic New York Style pizza! Anthony's in DeLand hit the spot. I did lunch special which was two plain slices with Italian Wedding Soup. The crust was phenomenal complimented with fresh mozzarella that reminded me of my home in Connecticut. It was perfection, I did my famous test of taking the cheese off the bread and eating the bread and cheese separately and both did not disappoint me. The soup was amazing, shockingly because my palate is changing, I loved the soup more. It wasn't seasoned to perfection along with tasty meat balls. I look forward to going back soon! read more

This was my first time here it was a cute quaint place. Service and food was amazing. will back for sure!!

Everything!! Charming little place with a lot of character and excellent food. The service was also outstanding! Thank you Rachel!

Sat down. Got menu and drink. Spent 15 minutes waiting to order. Three other tables. Two wait staff just standing at the register talking. Won't be coming back. read more

The food is always good. We drive 30 minutes to eat there or take out food. The restaurant is nice, the seating is comfortable.

I came here on a Monday night it was quiet when I got here I ordered the mussels and a plain pizza and a couple of beers. As I was waiting for my food I said let me look at the reviews. I was like oh no. Not sure how anyone can say this place is a 3.9 on google. I've been in the Deland area for a very long time and had take out here a couple of times and it was good, but this time I must say the staff was extremely friendly and pizza was thin and crispy and mussels were amazing. I highly suggest. Can't put a price on quality. read more

great service and the prosciutto, mozerella fig jam pizza might be the best I've ever had!! thank you for bringing real pizza back!

5 is high, but this is my go-to pizza place and I can't have the Negative Nancies of greater DeLand besmirching my pizza time.

We had a delivery. Meatballs; eggplant parm and garlic bread. Eggplant coating was raw and mushy as if the eggplant had not been fried. Meatballs were "bready"-- more bread than meat. Garlic bread tasted liken hotbdog buns with garlic oil. Disappointing read more

Solid pizza with impressive salads and glorious garlic knots. Been in a good number of times since they opened up awhile ago initially as an alternative to another place we like when they were all full up but eventually we started purposely coming here with some friends who prefer them. Hospitality can be iffy but was spectacular this last time in. read more

We wanted a Stromboli take out dinner. So I looked at the menu on line and I saw the Small supreme Stromboli is $6.99 and the Large is $11, so I called to order one , and she said we only have one size. "Your menu on line has 2 sizes" I told her. She said, that's interesting... So I ordered the "one size" and it was TWENTY TWO DOLLARS! Thats quite a difference. Y'all me to edit your menu, ok Anthony's? I'm definitely undecided about going back there for anything. read more

This is my review solely for ordering over the phone and choosing pick up. This is our go-to pizza for dinner. My friends call it our fancy pizza because we order "The/Da Brooklyn" with Pepperoni and when I tell you it's amazing... it's phenomenal. Pepperoni with Basil, tomato's, garlic and mozzarella. I walk in, pay for my food and walk out. The Pizza is always hot & fresh with the perfect amount of crunch. We've been ordering here for years and it's never disappointed. read more

Service was sub par. To many pizza places to deal with that. Go elsewhere. Rudeness and non flexibility are unacceptable

Stromboli was huge and it tasted great. Also a great deal for the price. The server Becky was the absolute best. The restaurant wasn't bust and the service was great, food came out in a timely manor. read more

Terrible hospitality food ok terrible dineing room experience. We arriver were seared right away. Drinks and starters came no problem there. Was a regular customer talking to the man making pizza in a tank top with his hair arm and his bear hanging over the plastic partian that separates the food from guest his arm was directly over the pizza dough and his beer with hair arm pit touching the partian. Nothing was said to him he was a friend of the business.when I went to the dirty bathroom the same guest was in the server station and a server was laughing with him about her tables complaining about him having his arm over the glasses. How stupid the guest were. When I went to back to my table he was telling the guy making pizza how stupid the guest was who complained him and laughing about how there no way they would tell him to stop or threw him out the employee just laughed and made more pizza. The pizza and pizza slice arrived for my family I was told mine would me right out. 30 min later I was told it was coming out in minute. When she arrives in five minutes. She said any thing I can get you. I said well there done eating and it has been 35 plus minutes since there food came out She said so do you want a box. I told her yes she brought the box and the check and acted like this was normal service.i took the check to the counter to pay and was told I had to pay my server I told them I had been here for over hour and half and just got my food and was taking my veal home to microwave do to poor service and she could take my check or I was leaving. reheated veal is not the greatest but she did not seem to care no offer of management when there help know there problem. It must happen all the time. Poor hygiene practice laughing about poor hygiene practice complaints I can only imagine what the back kitchen must look like. read more

Best pizza in DeLand- dough actually has flavor- crust is nice and thin underneath and crispy on the edges.

Anthony's is one of our go-to pizza places in DeLand! We have always enjoyed the food and the service here. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food. Their pepperoni is thick cut and amazing! Pizza is a bit greasy but that isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Their garlic knots are loaded with garlic and so delicious, and their Caesar salad is one of the best in town. read more
