The pizza, phenomenal. The service, not so much. The vibe, lively. Stopped here while enroute to Orlando. Opted to sit outside on the patio. Inside isn't all that big, and on Saturday night it was pretty full. The outdoor atmosphere was nice. We had front row seating for the live music provided by Jeff White. His talent is commendable. Great renditions of crowd-pleasing songs we love! Although we received our beverages in a timely fashion, the rest of our service was really lacking. The woman who initially took our drink order didn't introduce herself. Someone else stopped by a bit later to inquire if we needed anything, but I wasn't ready to order at that time. Apparently that was a mistake. It took some effort to finally get the first woman's attention to let her know we wanted to order food. She had a bit of an attitude when taking our order. The table next to us were clearly regulars, and she definitely preferred spending time with them. Later, we had to flag down someone else to obtain a box and the bill. Her assistance was more pleasant in comparison. Overall, it felt as though we didn't even really have a devoted server. The excellent pizza and enjoyable outdoor setting somewhat makes up for the subpar service during my visit. I would return and just hope for a better server next time. read more

Now that's what I call a dang good piece of pizza! It was completely loaded with all the toppings that I had asked for. They did not skimp at all. I had to use both of my hands to pick up one piece. Good pizza, fairly reasonable price. This online order was never confirmed by an employee, when I arrived at the designated pickup time my order wasnt started. A woman with a fist full of papers was using the computer and blamed it on technology. Unacceptable. She obviously was in some supervisory role tying up that computer for her needs and my order was never seen because of this. We picked up two Cobb salads as few days ago and they charged my husband $15.00 plus for each one, when he arrived at the restaurant the cook forgot to put the chicken in the salads, when we got home the tray of food was so empty and contained a sparse amount of mixed salad, four little pieces of chicken each and a few other bits of onion. We were both taken aback as the salad were virtually empty in the containers. One of the best pie's I've had in a long time The sauce is delicious the cheese is on point You don't see air bubble like you normally do. The crust and the bottom are crunchy not soft and soggy Everyone is friendly and greet you right away. Because I order ahead I never have to wait. This place was suggested to me by a friend so here we go. I love! Pizza let's get that out of the way. I made a quick stop here to see if my buddy Carlos was telling me the truth or hype and he was 80% correct. The location is very nice, there's plenty of parking on the street or across the street in a lot. The shop was clean and had lot's of references to the Bronx. The staff is super friendly and attentive, we were greeted as soon as we walked in the just to keep this honest I wanted to just get a slice and that's exactly what we did. Liza and I both had a cheese slice the price is a bit under 3.00 per. The sauce and the cheese had a great real NY taste, the crust was thin crunchy and chewy where is was supposed to be. The only down side is the taste on the crust, if lacked flavor. While I think they have the right amount of crust the taste was bland. I suggest you try this place for yourself if you're in the area. They had a 2 cheese and any drink in the fridge special for about $7.00 8 out of 10 for me... read more

I think this may be some of the best pizza I've found in the area over the past year of living here. I ordered mine well done because I like my pizza crispy with not much flop. Quite disappointing... we came here a week ago to dine outdoors and food was good (cheese pizza, Hawaiian pizza, caprese sub? And garlic knots), service was ok, surprising that there was only 1 server while there were 5+ workers inside. We were happy with the food, enough to go back again. A week later, we decide to order take out... Cheese pizza was greasy and crust was stale and hard. Hawaiian pizza was greasy with barely any toppings (maybe 1 pineapple chunk and 1 piece of ham on each slice) and crust was stale and hard. I am from Brooklyn and have been eating thin crust pizza my whole life, thin crust pizza does not have hard dry crust like this. Chicken parm was awful. Pasta was over cooked, sauce was bland, chicken was dry, tough and stale as if it was freezer burnt. Garlic knots were tiny, under-proofed, under cooked, raw, COVERED in dried parsley flakes. It was pathetic how small they were. Caprese sub had 3 x quarter pieces of mozzarella cheese with dried parsley flakes. Dried Parsley flakes are for cooking, not garnishing. Fresh parsley is for garnishing. Caprese uses basil, not parsley by the way. It should have been omitted. If you want a Cesar salad with romaine lettuce, croutons and store bought cheap Caesar dressing, that's exactly what you will get. Direct quote from our waitress should tell you how dysfunctional this restaurant is "Word of advice: Never come here on the weekend." I'm almost positive the waitress forgot to put my order in. She brought out my husband's 2 slices almost immediately saying something about how she's bringing them now before he doesn't get any??? After he slowly ate them for 30 minutes she came out and told him his SALAD would be out shortly never acknowledging my food. 45 minutes later I asked her to just box up my sub and her eyes got wide. Everyone that had ordered well after me had received their food. When I finally received my chicken parm sub; eating it at home it was NOT worth the wait. Little to no flavorless sauce, more soft flavorless bread than chicken and overly smothered with cheese. Come on guys from an Italian Jersey girl, get it together! My experience with Bronx Pizza left me disappointed because my neighbors raved about it. The crust and sauce were my greatest disappointment. With Covid having changed and challenged most businesses, the quality of the sauce and freshness of the toppings should not have been such an issue. So my friends got me to try this place and I was presently suprised. Anthony's has been my go to pizza place and while their pizza is good I have grown to not care for their customer service. So we got a meat lovers lovers and margarita. Both were great. We also got a chicken ceaser salad which was good and enough to share. And now they kicker, we also got an order of the sweet Asian chili wings. Those were sooo good. I think we'll have to get them every time too. OK OK - finally found a pizza place we love! We have now had their pizza, Stromboli and calzones. Also there garlic knots and fried eggplant. Their Stromboli and calzones are oversized! Which is obviously a great plus! We got a large one time and we're never gonna do that again only because we are a family of three and we were eating on it for three days (probably not a problem for everyone) Stromboli from here is our favorite. Calzone- the ricotta was a little off in my opinion. Too much cheese for my taste (Which my husband says is a sin ) They provided ample sauce with the large size Stromboli. When we got the small Stromboli, the sauce was substantially less. I would definitely recommend getting more sauce. The eggplant Parm w/ Pasta is my favorite! It is thinly sliced pieces A fried egg plant with mozzarella and marinara sauce and your choice of pasta. I did think it was funny though that it said your choice of pasta and I asked for angel hair and they said they only had spaghetti and rigatoni. So really your choice is between two types of pasta I would definitely upgrade this if I were the restaurant as angel hair is a very popular choice. I would definitely recommend this place, it's great for us as it's close to home. We order ahead and run in and pick it up and take it home. Tried to eat here tonight, showed up 40 (820 on a Friday when they close at 9pm) minutes before closing and the two teenage kids running it had absolutely no desire to take our order. All chairs were already up on the tables, and as we walked up to the door, the girl was heading to the door to lock it, and rolled her eyes and was visually upset that we were there.
