I have a new favorite Italian restaurant in the area AND they're open on Mondays! We came in on Memorial Day which meant they were slow (apparently not a lot of pizza wanted on a grilling holiday?) but that was fine because we got a quiet restaurant and excellent service. I'm constantly chasing the flavors of my childhood Italian restaurant back home and I think I've found my closest match. First off, their pasta fagioli, absolute perfection. It's not just minestrone with pasta added in nor is it too tomatoey. It's the perfect level of veggies and pancetta and I ordered a bowl to go to have on hand as my "I'm sick" comfort food. The calamari was my only criticism, they serve it tossed in the marinara (and the spicy marinara isn't really spicy). That meant the crisp breading was soggy, but it was still well cooked and tasty - I'll just ask for sauce on the side from now on. House bread with herbed dipping oil - delightful outer crust and fluffy inside. My father had a caesar salad which was his only criticism - it came with a packet of Ken's brand dressing. For a place making most things from scratch, why they'd do commercial dressing let alone in a packet is beyond me. My father's veal marsala was cooked tender and the sauce wasn't overpoweringly marsala-y as many can be. My chicken francaise had the same level of meat tenderness and sauce balance and both came with perfectly cooked pasta. We had to judge on all levels of our go-to foods so we also ordered a slice of pepperoni which came with a sauce that wasn't too much nor too sweet and excellent cheese pull, thin but not cracker crunchy crust that has actual FLAVOR. Our first experience here wasn't the greatest. Ordered some food to go, and our family was split so half ordered Chinese and half pizza. We were told 40-45 minutes on the pizza and timed the Chinese order accordingly. We sat in the parking lot waiting for an additional 20 mins past the 45 minute time for picking up. The pizza was good, but a bit soggy, the bruschetta bread seemed stale so we ended up using my homemade sourdough, and then it had good flavor. Just overall not the best experience - we might give them another try, but to spend $50+ dollars with tip on a pizza and bruschetta and have it all be a bit disappointing makes it difficult to consider trying again. read more

Extremely disappointed with this pizza restaurant. Will not be back. I spent $50 for a 16 inch cheese pizza, french fries, and fried calamari. None of it was good enough to write home about. The biggest disappointment was the $15 I spent on calamari to receive literally 15 pieces of calamari (yes I counted them). The box was half empty. Will not be back. read more

I heard from a local the pizza was good but I was sadly disappointed. I got the lunch special two slices of cheese pizza and a Cesar salad. One piece of pizza was ok but a super hard crust and very greasy but the other piece had like dry hard spots on it and then was soggy in other places. Clean on the inside friendly staff. The lentil soup was really good and was a large serving. The chicken parmesan sub was just dry, very little sauce as you see in the picture. Ask for extra sauce but you shouldn't have to chicken and cheese on bread is not exciting. The bread was ok. read more

The pizza, I think it was called Pop-pop's Supreme, was not good. It also lacked any real flavor. If you notice in the picture it looks like the meat and other toppings were put on for a smaller pizza, leaving a whole lot of nothing about an inch/inch and a half away from the crust. We loved the pizza from Nonna Maria's Pizzeria. We ordered a large pepperoni, cheese and veggie pizza for delivery. The pizza arrived when promised and was piping hot. I only tried the veggie pizza and thought that it was the best veggie pizza that I have had in many years. There is absolutely no competition anywhere within many miles of this restaurant. The crust and sauce was perfection and it was loaded with big delicious chucks of fresh tasting vegetables. I have been craving another bite since we first tried it. We stopped in to Nonna Maria's today for lunch. We ordered a 2 slice lunch special and the 6 wings and fries lunch special. I wasn't very impressed with either, The wings had a metallic taste and the slices just weren't very good at all, I am not a fan of a pizza place that throws a bunch of cheese on top of slices they cooked earlier and now there is barely cooked cheese atop of a slice that now has an over cooked crust. As for the service, I feel for the waitress, I think she was overwhelmed but that doesn't dismiss that we never saw her again after we got our food. We needed napkins so I went and got them myself. we had a large group of about 20 and we had the best experience. the food was delicious and the waiter was exceptional. this was not the only table this young man had and everyone was pleased with him. We had a great lunch with our long lost uncle from PA! Really great fresh pizza. They'll make just about any type of pizza you'd want. Even on a Saturday they have a decent pickup time.

The food is great...when/if you get it, but more often than not, I don't get what I ordered and it takes soooo long. They don't care either. The staff isn't friendly and always seem irritated that they had to answer the phone. We used to order here a lot, thinking the "one" bad experience with incorrect orders and irritable staff was just an off day. Don't order here much anymore... don't want to bother them with my call, much less asking for the correct order. read more
