Pumpkin stuffed french toast with caramel drizzle & TJ omelet w side potatoes & link sausage.
Cheryl R.

We were visiting in the area and opted for breakfast out. This was just luck we landed at TooJay's. It's pumpkin season my favorite do I opted for the pumpkin stuffed french toast with Carmel drizzle. To say YUMMY would be an understatement the portion size was hefty took half home for another meal. Hubby had the TJ omelet special w potatoes both very good and large in portion so we had breakfast for next day covered. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and attentive. Will defiantly come back if in the area again!

We came in for a late breakfast and it was nearly empty at 10am. We were quickly seated and Karly took our drink order. After a few moments she returned to take our food order. Queen Bee had the Neo Scramble, which is eggs, lox, onion, cream cheese, uh: scrambled together. Home fries and rye toast rounded it out. I had TJ's Special Omelette: basically the kitchen sink tossed into a three egg folded omelette. Add a bagel (sesame) and latkes (potato pancakes to the non native NYC gentiles) to round it out for me. Both of 'em were generously portioned and well prepared. The decor is supposed to evoke an NYC Jewish style deli or coffee shop. It sorta did that, with old photos of NYC landmarks and infrastructure scattered about. I only got a photo of the breakfast menu but it's a mere shadow of all the stuff they offer during the rest of the day. Finally, Karly herself was friendly and accommodating without being overly intrusive. I was a bit taken back by her just plopping the check down without checking on us once. However once she figured we WERE finished she asked how we were doing. She gladly brought two little boxes so we could take home the leftovers. She also brought plastic cutlery, extra butter and a takeout bag. She asked how we fared thru Milton. We told her the Readers Digest version and she responded with genuine empathy and compassion. Would I return? If I were around the area again: probably so, but I'd go for something like a Rueben or some other Jewish style deli trappings. They have bagels, pastries and desserts for sale too, along with deli stuff to go. Based on the bagel I had, I'll keep gettin' REAL ones shipped to me from NY once I get my house back and life resumes as normally as possible.

Tuna salad. My awesome colleague delivered it to me after they ate inside the restaurant. I already ate a bit before taking this photo.

My colleague was very nice to get me a tuna salad from there for lunch. When it came, there were two scoops of tuna salad along with 2 rye bread and various vegetables on top of lettuce. The tuna was filling and delicious, and even had bits of hard boiled egg pieces. There were two of various vegetables including onions, carrots, tomatoes, and olives. It was like a Noah's ark of vegetables. It was fresh and tasty. I am glad I ordered this as it looked healthy and filling. Since I got this togo and my awesome colleague delivered it to me, I didn't see the inside. It's been a long time, but I recall it being pretty casual and laid back. Thus, this will be a short review. However, Toojays makes a nice deli to enjoy lunch togo when having a nice day at work in the office.

Great service, friendly and prompt, super tasty food! Pricey, but good portions! Plus, it's nice to grab something to go from the deli on the way out!

Toojay's Famous Knish for the win

The knish and the bagel has always been too at this place even from years back. We had the country fried steak and eggs and the brisket French dip. The eggs were great the rye bread delish the steak was ok a little hard and dry but ok. Bf had the brisket dip and loved it sides were questionable the coleslaw no flavor and the French fries just ehh seemed frozen from the bag. The potato pancakes were tasty. Service was on point and she was busy.

Thanksgiving Sandwich

I loved the Turkey Cranberry Griller. It is a sandwich that is rolled out with the fall menu but is definitely good enough to be served year round. The Turkey Cranberry Griller is made with sliced turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, Swiss cheese and arugula. It is served with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. The sandwich is loaded with flavor and super filling. The table order a variety plate of rugelach...it didn't taste fresh and left us wishing that we picked something else.

Cheeseburger and fries.

We missed our regular server today, Allaysa. She is always so nice and always provides exceptional service and always provides recommendations when I don't have a clue to order. She is always great putting a order on separate plates so the food won't be touching. Ordered the Regular eggs Benedict minus the meat but was still charged for having meat. Wished they had a veggie Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was missing some acid. It needed a fresh squeezed of lemon. The egg was cooked perfectly. Love the home fries. Would of liked to have a choice of bread instead of getting pumpernickel bread. They don't provide military discounts. Coffee could have been better. It reminded me of Army coffee.

It does seem to, however, set a level of expectation that Stonewood certainly met. Service was great and the GINGER LIME SALMON BOWL - Ginger lime glazed salmon, lemon oil, jasmine rice, baby kale, edamame, cucumbers, radishes, grape tomatoes, scallions, basil avocado aioli I had was very tasty. I'm pretty sure I'll be back again. Convienence might trump uniqueness for this one.

We heard about the grilled pork chop being superb so we trolled the minuscule parking lot looking for a precious parking place until we finally found one - the last one on a mid-week night. What must this place be like on Fri & Sat nights? Our service was absolutely glacial. It was non-existent for the first 8-10 minutes as we were completely ignored. Do not confuse activity with production. Folks are moving around - they just don't do anything. Finally a cheerful gal appeared to give us menus & take drink orders. Slow service continued and is the overriding theme of this restaurant. Our observation: clearly regulars get preferential treatment. We watched wait-staff acknowledge and chat up folks while completely ignoring others sitting at the next table. Not professional, and certainly no bueno if the restaurant wants to attract new customers. The pork chop was very small - not even close to resembling the picture on the menu. It was just average; the kale accompaniment was so bitter we couldn't eat it; and the small portion of mashed potato was the only redeeming item on the plate. Charging my guest $1 to substitute broccoli for kale at the prices we were charged was a rip-off. Just so mickey mouse The bread pudding was over-cooked and frankly inedible. Our meal as a whole was too expensive and very, very mediocre. The lousy service really ought to be addressed - if not for the private-club feel regarding prompt service only for the regulars at the expense of new customers, this place would surely close. We came, we saw, we ate, we're done. Extremely doubtful we'll ever go back to Stonewood in Heathrow. Just not a good meal.

In town on a work trip, my husband, and I decided to try this place out! What a wonderful surprise! From the moment you walked in the eclectic, industrial, modernized, warm, cozy feel welcomes you in. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we knew right away that this place was a find! A wonderful happy hour menu, led us to a full menu of what felt like a farm to table experience. I sadly didn't get to snap a photo of the excellent appetizer buratta, but it was a perfect blend of balsamic tomato and creamy cheese! I am a true foodie, and this was hands-down the best burger I've ever eaten. My husband absolutely loved his shrimp and grits, perfectly cooked and well balanced flavor. Well, I know everyone recommends the chocolate cake, I can't rave enough about the crème brûlée. Do yourself a favor and go out of your way to enjoy a " private chef experience" meal! Many, many complements to the chef and his staff.

The restaurant is decorated beautifully, the staff are super friendly, efficient, and everything was clean. The menu is presented via electronic tablet, which was a unique experience, but I can only imagine this is expensive for the business to maintain. Regardless, I prefer this versus large paper menus or scanning a QR code to look up the menu. I decided on the Carnitas Fajitas for lunch which came to $14. This is a bit expensive for lunch but I did order Fajitas, so that's my bad, lol! The dinner portion is $22.50 which actually is priced competitively to other restaurants in the area. They do offer more affordable lunch options, but I decided to splurge a little. Our food was out in about 15 minutes and my fajitas were sizzling hot just the way I like them. It was well worth the $14 and I was stuffed most of the day after devouring this plate along with all the chips, salsa, and queso. There were four of us in the party and everyone was happy with their meal. Great Job Zacapa Team, we will be back soon!
