I've been coming to Peach Valley in Lake Mary for over 20 years and have always enjoyed the food and service. Today, however, was especially memorable thanks to an amazing young lady who served us. Her name was Heaven, and the name truly fits her perfectly. She provided exceptional service and had such a natural and thoughtful way of communicating with guests. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly easy to connect with, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Her parents must be very proud of her--she is truly remarkable. We pray that she continues to be a blessing to the people God places in her path. And Peach Valley deserves recognition as well for making such a great hire. read more

The cafe is in the corner of the Peach Valley strip mall. Although there is a large parking lot, there weren't many spaces available, which is a good sign. The hostess and our server were very pleasant and attentive. Refills were abundant, which I like. I hate it when you wait forever for a second cup of coffee. The food was hot and fresh, and the menu clearly defined which items were gluten-free and vegetarian. The Greek omelet was excellent, with a good proportion of feta cheese. The home fries, not so much. They were greasy and sort of tasteless. The atmosphere is sort of a glorified hall. The ceilings are very high, no carpeting on the floor, so sound bounced everywhere. Decor was meh. Bathroom was very clean. Overall, a really good experience. It's only open for breakfast and lunch, but would be a good option whether for a quick meal or a larger celebration such as a birthday. read more

A special day indeed meeting for brunch with my high school friends for brunch at Peach Valley Cafe. The ambiance is so amazing and a great setting to chat and catch up on our latest happenings in our lives while we enjoy some amazing food. Our server was Amanda and she was friendly and efficient. She checked on us often and always had a smile. We opted for lunch. My friends ordered from the Peachy Pairs for $12.99. They enjoyed the half griddled ham and Brie cheese with Caesar salad and the Peach Valley House Salad with multi grain bread with chicken salad. Both said their dishes were very good and they enjoyed them. I ordered the Griddled Ham and Brie cheese on sourdough bread with grits. This sandwich was delicious and so were the grits. This restaurant was packed with lots of people waiting. They said 15 mins and they were right on it. Our waiter Jason was excellent. He was a busy guy but gave great service. Peach valley is that comfy brunch place that has a great atmosphere/location, pretty okay food, and a couple standout dishes that you can't help but crave after an early morning Church service! One of those standout dishes is their Apple Fritters. Even though it's technically an appetizer, I always get it as my entree with a side of their perfectly seasoned breakfast potatoes. I'm telling you, their Apple fritters are just that good! They're nice and gooey on the inside and that batter will practically melt in your mouth. We also ordered their bucket of sunshine, or more like bucket of disappointment. The bucket came with a glass of champagne and a choice of either orange juice or peach puree to make our own mimosas/bellini. Bucket was mostly ice and we had to pay extra if we wanted more orange juice to make more mimosas with the champagne we got, that wasn't cool. Either way you chop it though, Peach Valley is a place that really hooks you in with their signature dishes and leaves you craving for them. For me, it's their apple fritters. I used to love this place, but the quality has gone downhill. I recently ordered my usual for takeout - poached eggs, rye toast, and crispy bacon. The poached eggs were so overdone that they might as well have been hard boiled eggs. The rye toast was jammed into a small box and was mushy. Finally, the "crispy" bacon used to be "crispy". Everything you love about American Diner style grub, elevated 10 levels and paired with contemporary brunch cuisine. This location in Lake Mary/Heathrow is right off I-4 and makes for a perfect breakfast or early lunch meeting or something personal with friends or even a date on the weekends. Portions are phenomenal, definitely worth what you pay, which can be on the higher end if you're expecting Denny's or IHOP, but it's 10x the quality at 1.5x the price so good value overall. Service is also not snobby and really personable, they have bar, booth, table and outside seating when the Florida heat and rain allow it. The service was prompt, and we were seated quickly. Our waitress was attentive, consistently checking in on us, and the ambiance was pleasant. Unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. I ordered an omelette that was undercooked and had a runny egg mixture. My husband didn't even touch his meal; he ordered a pancake that was disappointingly flat and had an unusual crunch in the buttermilk batter, which he found off-putting. After eating some of the omelette, I felt extremely nauseous, and it quickly became clear that I had food poisoning the omelette was the only thing I had eaten. I recently went to Peach Valley Cafe in Heathrow for breakfast. Let me tell you that this Peach Valley has a gorgeous view overlooking a pond and the Seminole Wekiva trail. I decided to check it out on Mother's Day, and yes, it was pretty busy. Surprisingly, the wait wasn't too long for two people, around 15 minutes. We were seated outside and had the nicest view, so we relaxed and enjoyed the morning breeze. Now, let's talk about the food. We started with a regular coffee and a latte, and then our meal included Eggs Benedict, the Peach Valley Skillet, and some pancakes. The food was good--nothing out of the ordinary, but we enjoyed it. We skipped the apple fritters this time, as I have had them before. If it is your first time visiting Peach Valley, I recommend ordering them to share with your table. Here is the description of the apple fritters from the menu: "Fresh granny smith apples were added to our homemade batter and cooked to a golden brown. Tossed tableside in a cinnamon sugar blend and served with brown sugar-scented strawberry yogurt." This restaurant is a good choice for a casual breakfast or lunch, and the food didn't disappoint. If you are biking or walking on the Seminole Wekiva trail this a great spot to stop for a bite. Food was decent for breakfast. The wait was not long at all, especially during a busy Sunday morning which was a plus. I had the waffle and upgraded it with eggs and bacon, it was good. My daughter had a chocolate chip pancake which was huge. My other daughter got an egg breakfast with the potatoes and an English muffin, her fiancé got a plain pancake (also huge) and a breakfast sandwich. First timers here as we visited for brunch for our anniversary and it was a great experience! Restaurant was very busy but we were lucky to be seated quickly. Loved the decor and ambiance, service was prompt as well. Ordered a hot coffee , pretty regular & it was okay, got the job done but I should've went with a latte. Next we moved on to the apple fritters everyone raves about , they were good as well , served with strawberry yogurt which was a cool twist. I would order again. The patio is a perfect spot! We started with coffee & apple fritters. The fritters were nice & hot & had good chunks of apple in them! The strawberry yogurt they are served with makes a nice dipping sauce! We both got the breakfast skillet & it was great! The biscuits are huge& nice & fluffy! One of the better Breakfast/Brunch restaurants in Lake Mary. Place is very clean and atmosphere is nice. Straight to the point, the star of this place is the wait staff. Our waitress is amazing, patience, accommodating, and courteous. We had a big party of 12 (few were handicap) and ordered a lot. I'm not going to name all that was ordered (see my pics) but all were good but not outstanding. The only real negative is the parking specifically for the handicap. There was not really a drop off area and the handicap parking was on a slight hill. If your handicap, that a big obstacle for them. If your brunch person, please try this place out if your in the area. read more

3/5/23- Came to Peach Valley after running a nice 10 miles on the Wekiva Trail. Needless to say, we were hungry! They were definitely busy. The wait time wasn't too bad. Thank goodness they had an outdoor area, because we were sweaty. We both ordered the Healthy Start Omelet, Egg whites, turkey, baby spinach and tomatoes. We ordered the home fries and English muffin for me and the rye toast for him. ($11.59). We also ordered one blueberry pancake. It was as we call it rubbery. Do not recommend. We had the Superfood Breakfast, Housemade granola, fresh banana, blueberries, and strawberries with a delicious superfood base. The base was chia pudding. We liked it except for the blueberry syrup. High in sugar and defeated the "healthy option". The service was top notch. Great customer service overall from the hostess stand, to our servers to the staff. Kudos!!!! read more

It's been too long! Long ago, I used to visit this Peach Valley Cafe at the OLD location and seating was very scarce! It's been so long and I'm happy we came back for a visit! This was a huge disappointment! After a somewhat long, wait to be seated, we were finally brought to a table. The one bright spot was our delightful waitress. Tara Was kind, polite and attentive enough that we wanted for nothing but did not smother us. And that ends anything good about this expensive breakfast. The cappuccino tasted like bitter coffee. The waitress was kind enough to exchange it for a regular coffee that tasted exactly the same! I had ordered the egg breakfast with corned beef. The eggs tasted like they were the artificial eggs, dry, chewy, bland, and the cheese that I had asked for appeared to be artificial. The English muffin while toasted very nicely was of inferior quality and tasted like it was stale. The home fries had been sitting for a very long time. There was absolutely nothing crispy about them. The corn beef hash however, was excellent and perfectly cooked. Like a lot of their competitors their corporate status has overtaken any flair of originality and the cost cutting has greatly impacted the quality of the food. This used to be my absolutely favorite place to come for breakfast or Sunday brunch. Now, I can tell you I won't be back. read more

Stop by for breakfast as I was already in the area. Place was pretty packed, but we were seated immediately. I had PVC before in Gainesville and it wasn't a great experience. Great selection of breakfast food on their menu. I didn't want anything too heavy, so I opt for the egg whites with spinach and side of potatoes. Mediocre breakfast food that was decent and edible. When I went in to pick it up, I was greeted with smiles and people willing to help. It looks like a diner from up north. Dropped our standard poodle off next door to be groomed and the hubby and I decided to grab brunch from here because we'd heard good things and it has good reviews on Yelp. I can't say I was let down, per say; however, I wasn't impressed either. Service was good. Our waitress from attentive and friendly. Prices are high. Food is average. It was good, but for the price, there was not a single thing that impressed me. I actually sent back the biscuits and sausage gravy I order because the gravy tasted "off." Everything else: eggs, bacon, etc. was just ok. We won't be back here because we honestly enjoy weekend brunches at IHOP or Cracker Barrel more and the prices aren't as high as they are here. Tried and true brunch/lunch spot that always makes me feel at home! The servers have that warm southern charm persona that makes dining here all the better. I consider their dishes to be an upgraded play on your home cooked favorites. So if this is your first time coming to Peach Valley, make sure you get a plate of apple fritters! This should honestly be mandatory and I'd consider it sacrilege to skip out. They are delightfully hot and crispy on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside and generously coated in cinnamon sugar. They are served with some type of mixed berry yogurt sauce, but that almost seems like an afterthought. These fritters are a standalone star in my opinion. But eat em and enjoy em however ya like! As for the rest of the menu, everything knocks it outta the park! I've been in for both brekkie and lunch and always leave satisfied. One of my favorite breakfast items is the berry stuffed French toast. Really nice thick slices of bread with just a pleasant touch of mascarpone in between. Fresh berries and drizzle of compote on top to make the perfect bite. I love that they do half and full sized orders! I love to order half so that I have room for some eggs and fritters! I didn't say it was health food lol. When doing lunch, I almost exclusively order the fish Rueben. It's delicious and a fun update on a classic. The fish tastes fresh and there's always plenty of sauerkraut and thousand island guaranteeing the need for twenty napkins! This is actually one of my favorite sandwiches of all time. Definitely top three. I'm a regular and you should be too! Not the cheapest establishment of its nature but one of high quality.
