Went with about six people which I don't think is a large party compared to going with 12 or 16. We did call ahead for seating. They were aware we were coming because it was on a Sunday. We came for a family celebration of a lunch or birthday party. We had to move our table twice because other patrons were complaining that there were too many people in the area. We finally said that the last time we're staying, they put us up against the wall with boo seat on one side and chairs on the other. Our waitress was extremely short tempered and quite aggressive. She did not enjoy having a large party. Multiple of our orders were messed up, even though we told her a few times it took longer for our orders to come out correctly, and our drinks were hardly full The service side of things was very rough during this particular visit We enjoy coming to first watch as a couple just two people for brunch on the weekends from time to time. Brunch just hits different at First Watch. This place is my favorite place to meet friends for breakfast. I typically go for one of the specials and haven't ever been disappointed with those options. The breakfast tacos or the chia superfood pudding bowl are my other go-to. The fresh pressed morning meditation juice (I think that's the name) is fire. My friend offered to split one with me at 3.95 a cup. It was a generous dish that what I estimate to be two scoops at a regular Kelly's location. This ultra rich combo favored the tres leches ingredients with a hint of strawberries. I would definitely order this again if it was offered at Kelly's. First time at this first watch location. Seemed pretty standard to other locations. We had a large group there for a birthday brunch. The first table they gave us wasn't big enough so they did have us get up and move but after that it was smooth sailing. Food came out pretty quickly and the staff was kind. I like that you can pay with your phone when you get the check (there is a QR code to scan). They brought out a cake we brought for a friend and sang happy birthday to her. read more

We went for brunch and it was so good. Inside was busy as usual so we decided to sit outside on patio since it was a nice day today. Started out with the original iced coffee. Wanted the salted caramel one but the server said that one is very sweet. We were not wanting that so we opted for the original. Our server was great with that recommendation. Then ironically we both got the biscuit and gravy with turkey sausage. Very good and flavorful. Eggs were cooked perfectly over medium. Woke up really early on a Sunday and my man was craving their Belgium waffles - so we went! It wasn't too crowded (Lol it was 7am). Aside from the waffles, we both order the omelets: The Works & Ham & Gruyere. The omelets came with cast iron potatoes. Food came quickly and hot. Omelets were big in size. Staff is so pleasant, even on a major busy day! The menu is huge and there are many options for all. They have an extensive turkey menu content, which has always been a plus to first watch for healthy choices. They have some new options, but today we did a regular meal: eggs, bacon and a blueberry pancake. Then we decide to try the beef chilaquiles with a little pico on the side/ asked for it and you should too! Larry, our waiter, was attentive and very kind. It was a great meal and delicious. We had around a 20 person group to accommodate and the hostess here was a being a bit difficult as they don't reserve tables which we continuously said we understand we just wanted to get seating. I suggested/asked about if they could break us up into the largest table they had and maybe put two other tables together. I always enjoy a nice meal at First Watch Cafés and have patronized them over 25 years in multiple states , so I was quite surprised that my experience today was disappointing. My husband and I stopped in for a bite, dining outside and had a charming waiter, Larry, who promptly greeted us and assisted in taking our orders. We both chose a soup and half sandwich combo. Lunches came in a timely manner but both soups were lukewarm. (tomato bisque and chicken and wild rice, the soup of the day). Larry quickly took them to be reheated (and they were). We enjoyed the half sandwiches while waiting for soup. The chicken and wild rice soup was so thick it wouldn't spill out of the bowl even if overturned, and instead of wild rice as advertised, it was some kind of instant rice that must've absorbed all the liquid, not very appealing or tasty. Larry offered a $5.00 coupon to make up for our inconvenience which was a nice gesture. When I looked at the coupon en route home in the car, I noticed the coupon had expired in early February! This leads me to think there is not much attention to detail at this facility. There is room for improvement, hope this may have been an isolated incident! read more

Uninterested in places more into the environment rather than the food. Oh and waitress was useless. Forgot the avocado on side for friend. And only checked back after everything done. I complained yet only got offered to remake same mess. No thanks. Should have simply been removed from bill. Then used 60 in gift cards for 53 bill. Did not get to keep rest on gift card. Today my wife and I ate at First Watch in Lake Mary Florida for the first time. When we entered we were seated immediately and the place was clean. Our waiter brought us cups of water and quickly took our drink and food orders. I had the Shrimp and Grits and my wife had an Egg order which looked good. My meal was good but I have better. My wife enjoyed her meal. The price was reasonable for our meal and this would be a good place to take family members when they are in town. Stopped by for brunch today to use my birthday meal coupon for a buy one get one entree. We arrived around 1:30pm, about an hour before close on Thursday. Compared to my last two visits here I noticed the crowd dies down significantly around this time. We were promptly greeted and seated by the hostess. Shortly after, our server Kari arrived to take our drink and meal order. Nancy ordered the Works Omelette with a side of greens ($14.97) and I chose The Roast Beef and Havarti Sandwich ($15.50). Both are meals arrived in record time and were delicious. I have to say, that my sandwich was one of the best I've had in the area. What makes it so special is that it's cooked like you would make a patty melt, but the bread is coated in Parmesan cheese before placing it on the griddle infusing the cheese into the bread giving it an extra crispy crust with delicious griddled Parmesan flavor, wow! Definitely a winner. $15.50 is a lot to spend on a sandwich but this one was worth it In my book. Alternatively; The Omelette, although delicious is a bit pricey. I know they use cage free eggs but it seems like $15 is a lot for a Omelette with two pieces of bread and some greens. Our server Kari was great. She got us everything we needed and was still upbeat and friendly less than hour before close. The restaurant and restroom was clean, the food was fresh and on point, and we were in and out in less than an hour. What more can you ask for, except for some more of that great cornbread. I've come to this place for brunch plenty of times and I even order lunch from here sometimes. Brunch gets crazy busy here but I always get in line online before coming. I had to get my favorite drink the Kale Tonic. It's so good definitely does not taste healthy like it sounds. The Watermelon Mint drink was good and refreshing but Kale Tonic is still the best drink they have in my opinion. We ordered the Market Veggie Omelet which was good. The egg is a bit dry if you don't get enough of the filling with it. I think the Market Veggie Sandwich is better if you like the combination of ingredients. The bread here is amazing and so is the strawberry preserves they serve with it. We also got the Salmon Eggs Benedict, this was really good. All the ingredients went very well together. Lastly the dressed greens are always so good here, the lemon dressing is delicious. I will definitely continue to come here for lunch and breakfast. When walking in the door and paying on the way out they need a much better system. Would be nice if they moved the check in and hostes stand outside and maybe covered the outside area in front. It gets way too crowded in the front of the restaurant. Overall we have had good service here. Today particularly wasn't the best but it seems like they were shorter staffed than usual. There is normally a decent wait on Sunday during brunch time which is to be expected. The food is always amazing we tried the tacos Al pastor which is a special today and it was really good. I do have a major complaint about it that there was not nearly enough meat on the plate. There was probably a total of 1-2oz of meat on my plate. I didn't take a picture of it before digging in because I was hungry but just to show how little meat was in I included the picture below after mixing everything up. First Watch is a prime spot for a nice breakfast date, good food and great service. It was quite packed but we didn't have to wait long and our server Ashley was fantastic. The food was good, we've never had a bad experience eating here at least at the Lake Mary location. The seasonal menu gives you fresh options to try if you want something apart from the normal breakfast menu that still rocks. As a quick sidenote, they have also recently updated their payment system so you can pay at the table by scanning your receipt which I think is a big plus. Topped with all-natural sour cream). No regrets. This thing is dang delicious. Unlike other brunch chains, they pack in a good amount of meat and veggies. We came here on a Sunday afternoon 11 am August 2023. This location seems to be busy all the time so we had about a 20 minute wait. We came here last week on a Sunday at noon bad choice the wait was over an hour long. So today we finally got to eat and we got omelettes and I got an Italian omelet with roasted red peppers kale onions and mushrooms It had a lot of flavor It came with a small piece of toast and a side salad. My husband got the works omelet filled with different types of meats sausage bacon ham. His came with a side of potatoes and some really good bread. We also tried the cornbread with bacon which was good. I say the meal was pretty good. But the service was horrible. They brought us the cornbread but no plates so I had to get up and ask for them. Ketchup bottle on the table was empty. Side salad was a little bland so I asked for extra dressing. The waitress we had had a table of six right next to us so they got most of the attention. My husband had a birthday certificate so that's why we came here. But I would come again and maybe try some of the other items on the menu. The food was good. This place is super cute and the food is great, however, the front of house couldn't figure out how to seat people. I kept on getting glossed over and the hostess sat 2 or three parties behind me because she thought I was with other groups. Unfortunately the groups she sat ahead of me (even though I was in front of them) meant we could not get seating outside.
