Fresh Kitchen is very underrated!! It's a fresh and healthy version of Chipotle. That is fairly generic that everyone can find something to eat and enjoy. Even our children ages 8 and 11 like it. Disclaimer they are less picky than most kids. This location is in a plaza and is easy to access. The inside is always clean, there are always some people, the busiest I've seen it is during lunch hour and even then it's fast service. Everything always tastes fresh, I've never felt like something was sitting too long. We always get the pick 4 which is around $12 and it's more than enough to fill up a large appetite or if you're a smaller eater you could stretch it to two meals. To start I always get the rice and kale salad as my base, my wife gets the sweet potato noodles and brown rice. Both variations taste awesome. For my veggie I always get broccoli, my wife typically gets green beans. Their veggies are always cooked just right, not mushy but not raw. For meat, I typically get blackened chicken, cause I love chicken and want something on the spiced end. Although it's not spicy. My wife typically gets the same or the BBQ or sometimes the Salmon. To finish they have different toppers like cucumber salad or feta salad. They cost extra. I've never needed to get them but they do look good. Lastly, we always get the ginger sauce on top, it's so good. They have other sauces too. They also have an interesting supply of drinks that include juices and protein shakes. I've been to this location several times. The line moves very fast and the staff is great. My group asked about their siracha sauce which they didn't have ready when we ordered but the staff member found us when we sat down and brought it over to us. I love all of their choices and their "Chipotle" style ordering. It feels guilt free with so many healthier options. I got the blackened chicken this time and I loved the seasoning but it was way too fatty for me I had to stop eating it. I will return but would probably get their salmon or go meatless the next time. My favorites were the cauliflower mash, broccoli and citrus avocado. I used to eat at Fresh Kitchen Lake Mary almost daily and always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, after the recent menu/vendor changes, I began experiencing consistent gastrointestinal issues (diarrhea) after eating bowls containing their spinach and arugula base. I reached out directly to the store manager and later to corporate, asking for basic information about how their produce is washed and treated (for example, whether chlorine or other chemicals are used). I provided detailed documentation and gave them several weeks to respond. Despite multiple polite follow-ups I never received a complete or direct answer from Fresh Kitchen corporate. At this point, I've had to file reports with the appropriate Florida food safety agencies simply to get transparency about what's in the food. It's disappointing that a company promoting "clean, healthy eating" has been so unresponsive to a legitimate health and safety question. I truly hope management takes this seriously, improves their communication, and provides customers with full disclosure about how their produce is processed. read more

A few team members from work have brought in lunch from Fresh Kitchen several times over the last two weeks. The food looked great, and they were raving about how good it was, so I decided to check them out. Luckily for me, I had a $30 off promotion from Uber Eats that I used to purchase my meal. Note: the Uber Eats promotion did not include delivery, tax, or tip. The Fresh Kitchen menu consists of Bowls filled with seasonal ingredients that accommodate most diets. Fresh Kitchen provides vegan, gluten-free, and non-dairy options. They also refrain from using processed sugar. Prices are based on the number of bases, veggies, proteins, and add-on's a customer request in their bowl. I ordered 2 Six-Bowls ($13.69 each), one Bowl with a meat upgrade (+2.49). Our first Bowl contained sweet potato noodles, Basil mushrooms, golden spice chickpeas, BBQ chicken, kale pesto tomatoes, and creamy white ginger sauce. Our second Bowl (with meat upgrade) included coconut ginger rice, cauliflower mashed potatoes, parmesan broccoli, roasted brussels sprouts, grilled herb steak, almond baked chicken, feta cheese, and coconut sriracha sauce. I assume most customers do not like to mix-n-match the variety of ingredients that I had with these meals. However, I wanted to try as many items as possible because the food descriptions sounded intriguing, and the meal was on Uber's dime (so why the hell not, try it all). This was my first time using Uber Eats; the process was as simple as ordering an Uber. The app was a little troublesome, but after shutting down and restarting the app it worked seamlessly. My order took about an hour to arrive, and I received several delivery updates during the process. The delivery driver, Synara, was super sweet and thanked me for ordering from Uber Eats. Our food was packaged securely to ensure customer safety. Our food was fresh, delicious, and flavorful. I enjoyed all of the different flavors! Each item had something special about it that made it memorable. The only thing I can complain about is that the food was not piping hot, and the almond baked chicken was a bit dry. Other than these minor issues, I truly enjoyed the variety of textures, flavors, quality, and quantity of food received. The highlights for me are the sweet potato noodles, basil mushrooms, coconut ginger rice, and cauliflower mashed potatoes. We added the grilled herb steak for an additional $2.49; the meat was cooked to a perfect medium, was tender, and I feel that we received a good value for the cost of the add-on.
