We happened to be there on a Tuesday which is apparently their kids night. Our waitress, Haven, was very attentive and friendly. After starting with a fried pickle appetizer, we ordered hotdog with applesauce for the 3 year old and mini cheese burger double with steak fries for the 7 year old. The adult had 8oz salmon, veggies, house salad, and shrimp. The food was absolutely delicious. Why did I give them 4 stars? The food was far too hot when it was served for it to be most enjoyable on the palate. The hotdog was too hot for one to hold let alone bite into. The fries burned the 7 year olds tongue. Our server Christopher provided exceptional service and took great care of us the duration of our meals. The food here has always been on point for us; however, as previously noted in my reviews, they need to perform a heavy cleaning of the restaurant and restrooms. If I'm feeling hungry I'll add the rice which is very good. They always start you off with hot fresh baked bread and the cinnamon butter. Too crowded and too expensive now. I'm from Texas. So maybe I'm jaded but spending $60 for a steak and two beers after work was shocking. As a foodie, I could have eaten at California Grill in Disney World for $30 for and had a very high end gourmet meal. Even the bartender acknowledged that it seemed expensive but hey, ran my check anyway. I pointed it out and he asked me if I ordered the 8oz or 12 Oz steak? He never asked and ordered the 12 Oz without asking me. It was $5.00 more and $18.00 for two glasses of Stella draft. Why would a single woman who sat at the bar order the largest steak? I walked away disappointed with a carton of left overs. Won't return again soon. I'll wait to actually fly to Texas next time. The rolls and butter are one of the best things about Texas Roadhouse. First starter we got the appetizer sampler with rattlesnake bites, boneless buffalo chicken wings, and fried pickles with ranch. The same player came out is fast, fresh, and taught. The boneless buffalo wings were my favorite they were on their sampler and my husband was crazy about the rattlesnake bites, which were the perfect combination of jalapeno heat and creamy cheese. We split the adult sirloin cooked medium, a big sweet potato with a cinnamon sugar butter and saute mushrooms. Single worst visit I've ever had at a Texas Roadhouse. I go to this location almost every Friday because it's right around the corner from my office. I went on President Day because they were open for lunch when they normally are not on a Monday. Waited nearly 10 minutes to be seated despite having nobody waiting in front of me. Order appetizer Buffalo Chicken Wings and a NY Strip with a salad. After waiting almost 30 minutes received my appetizer and then 30 seconds later my salad and my steak came as the other guy was placing my salad on the table. How does that happen other than having a horribly mismanaged restaurant and kitchen. This was a weekly eatery for me but it's safe to say I will not be back anytime soon. As soon as we walked in, we waited 5 to 10 minutes before being seated. As our hostess grabbed our menus, they also grabbed a basket of fresh baked bread, and sat down at a table. The bread was fresh out of the oven and melted into the butter. It was so good! I also tried the normal butter as well because I prefer it over the cinnamon butter. The Caesar salad was nice and fresh. The ribs were very tender and we're full of flavor. I ordered a steak cooked medium, but it was very tough and hard to chew. I love apple pie and ice cream so I was happy to see that they had it on their dessert menu. But the ice cream tasted freezer burnt and the pie did not pair well with it. I guess I'm just use to the food temp being hot and food tasting better being from Cali. Lol. However, the only real complaint that we had was that our steaks weren't cooked to order. Yes,!8 could've sent it back to the kitchen to ask for a new but we've waited long enough so we ate the parts that were edible. We asked for 2 of 4 steaks to be cooked medium rare. It came out almost cooked medium well. Needless to say we didn't finish those steaks and we ate the other steaks. Lol. Didn't like that we had to waste our 2 steaks. But it is what it is. As soon as you walk in the door you see those warm fluffy bread rolls and the cinnamon butter warming under the hot lamp And you know you're going to get ready for a really good meal. Every time I come here the steaks are cooked too perfection. I love their baked potatoes sweet potatoes and their salads. The chili can be hit or miss but I always get it at least once a month. And we always get the onion blossom for an appetizer. I always say I'm going to try something new but then I just always want that onion blossom appetizer. Stopped here on the way home from Orlando for dinner last night and they were packed at 8pm! I sat at the bar and was waited on by Derek who happened to be a manager too and was great! Food came out and it had a few toppings I asked to be removed and they fixed it right away no big deal. Everything was good and the bar was nicer than I expected to eat at. Always a good meal when we come to Texas Roadhouse. I'm used to walking into large baths of open peanuts that you can shell and eat. Now to reduce the waste and probably for Covid they have bags of peanuts that you can take if you are waiting for a seat. The service was very good and quick. Food was delicious as always.
